Albertsons Gas Rewards

We’ve had lots of visitors looking for specific information on the Albertsons Fuel Rewards Program so here are the pertinent details on this AWESOME deal from Albertsons that can just about earn you FREE FUEL!
- Every time you accumulate $50 in qualified purchases, you’ll earn a 5 cent per gallon discount good on your first 20 gallons purchased at participating Albertsons Express locations.
- If your one car won’t hold 20 gallons, you can take two cars, pull them up to the same pump and use up all 20 gallons on two vehicles.
- The reward is based on your PRE-COUPON total!! On some big catalina promotions some KCLs’ pre-coupon total is something like $500 and they only spend $50, so they’d get 50 cents off per gallon just for one big trip!
- Gas Rewards expire 90 days from the date of award issuance.
- The reward is basically 10% of your total pre-coupon purchases at Albertsons, but it is awarded in $50 increments. So if you spend $48.70 pre-coupon, you wouldn’t get anything or if you spend $99.00 you would only get 5 cents. But if you spend $101.00 you get 10 cents off.
- You do NOT need your preferred card at the pump to cash in on your rewards. Simply use one of your Albertsons receipts and look in the upper right corner for your preferred savings number. Enter this at the pump to redeem your rewards.
- Qualified purchases exclude dairy, prescriptions, tobacco, alcohol, money orders, stamps, lottery tickets, gift cards and fuel.
- And the Best Part is until the end of March Albertsons is DOUBLING gas rewards, so instead of .05 cents for $50 purchase, it’s now .10 cents. That’s 20%!

Free Glucerna Cereal

Sign Up Here and print your $5.00 off any Glucerna Cereal coupon. Reported retail price of these cereals is around $3.94 (I haven’t personally shopped this deal yet). Glucerna products are clinically shown to manage blood sugar, but they still look yummy to my sugar-lovin heart.

There is a great money maker at Walgreens with these. The RR deal is buy 2 Glucerna products get a $2.50 RR, buy 3 get $4.50 RR buy 4 get $7 RR.
The cereals cost $4.99 each/ meal bars $5.99.
Last week I bought 4 boxes of Glucerna cereal. Used 2 $5 off IPs and 2 $2/1 from the 3/1 SS.
I payed $5.96 for 4 cereals and got back $7RR. If you can print off 4 IPs the deal would be even better. 4 boxes for FREE PLUS $7 RR. This deal is supposed to go through 3/29.

Welcome Newbies!!!
Posted in: Couponing Basics // Comments (5)We’ve had a few comments about Newbies and I wanted to jump in on it! First of all, I understand the term “Newbie” to mean someone who is New to Couponing… or “Coupon Virgins”, as I have lovingly referred to them. I personally, love helping people learn the couponing ropes and hope this blog is helpful in that!
I think we can all have happy coupon experiences if we remember a few basic rules.
1. Play Nice. Be courteous to your cashier, managers, and fellow shoppers. -It’s okay to question what a cashier is telling you and to ask for clarification from a manager, but be polite. – If you need to clear the shelf of an item, consider asking to special order. -If you are going to be doing multiple transactions, shop during the slow hours and let other customers go in front of you in line.
2. Follow the Store Policies and the Individual Coupon Rules. Don’t expect stores to bend their rules or make an exception for you. Respect the Expiration Dates, Quantity Limits and Manufacturer’s Rules. Most of the time, Stores will treat you with respect when you treat their store policy with respect.
3. Be Prepared. Your couponing experience will go so much more smoothly if you prepare for your trip by making a list and grouping your coupons together. It’s amazing how much nicer I am if I am not stressed about getting all my coupons together come check out time.
4. Conduct yourself so you wouldn’t be embarrassed if you ran into an old friend or church member. I have heard storied about women racing for diapers or even grabbing them out of other shoppers baskets or hands. Don’t be that shopper. They give everyone a bad name!
