We received this email from a fellow KCL:
Hello ladies,I was just wondering if anyone out there may have had this happen – I submitted my Kellogg’s Fuel for School rebate on Sept 30th (the date it needed to be postmarked) and it just came back to me as undeliverable! The envelope has a “BOX CLOSED NO ORDER” stamp on it and there is one of those yellow post office stickers on the envelope stating “RETURN TO SENDER NOT DELIVERABLE AS ADDRESSED UNABLE TO FORWARD”. The date on the sticker is 10/08/09, so it must have arrived to Kalamazoo before the deadline (10/09/09) as well… I double checked the address and I had it right so I am not sure what happened and I was wondering if any other KCL’s experienced the same situation. I sent an email to Kellogg’s so we shall see what they say…Anyways, just wondering…Jana
Here is what Common Sense with Money has found out about this situation:
If you sent your Kelloggs Fuel for School rebate postmarked by 9/30/09, and had this rebate returned to you because the P.O. Box you sent it to was closed, you need to do this:Please send the entire returned envelope directly to Kelloggs at P.O. Box CAMB, Battle Creek, MI 49014 and mark “FFS EXCEPTION” on the outside of the envelope. No need to call Kelloggs first.
