Thanks to KCL Kristin for letting us in on this unadvertised Money Maker at Target!

I was at Target today and their Glade candles (and other glade products) are on sale.  I was able to get the Glade oil candles for $.50 each.  They are on sale for $2.50 each, then there are coupons in each of them for $2.00 off two, and when you buy 5 you get a $5.00 gift card.  This is not in the ad and the sign said it goes until 12/26, and no rain checks.  This was at the Idaho Falls, Id Target. – Kristin

    Glade Oil Candles $2.50 Each
    Use the $2.00/2 Peelie coupon
    Final Price: $1.50 OOP (each)
    Buy 5, Receive a $5 Target GiftCard!
Final Price When Factoring GC: $.70 each

These also qualify for the $5  SC Johnson Rebate (when you buy 3).
You can submit up to 3 rebates per family!

Oh! And check out how She Saved got Juice for $1.oo each while shopping at Target!

If you want to make this deal much sweeter, do the following…
Inside the tins (unless someone already took them out) there are 1.50 off one scented oil holder. Combine that with a blinkie coupon from your local grocery store, buy one scented candle holder, get refill for free.
So use buy 5 tins or glass holders, use 5 1.50 off coupons.
Buy 5 refills, use 5 BOGO coupons.
Total 5.00 plus tax and get 2 5 dollar gift cards back. THEN submit for the rebate. Total moneymaker.

I thought it was just for the “holiday” scents

Yes, it is only the holiday scents. The scents that work for me today and yesterday were Bayberry Spice and Apple Cinnamon. You can go to the Glade website – all the holiday scents are shown there so you can know what to look for.

The Buy one tin, get a refill free coupon is applied to the refill, then you can use the $1.50 off on the candle tin. My Targets ALWAYS give me a hard time about coupons, so I was shocked that both times I did this deal, they did not even blink an eye! Maybe all the calls to their Customer care line have helped? Very cool deal that is long term, so if you can’t do it now, keep your eyes open!! Oh, I ‘ve seen the blinkie B1G1 coupons at KMart, Safeway, and Fred Meyer.

I just saw this deal at Target and was super excited. My target refused to take multiple coupons and claimed that you can only use one of the glade 2/2 coupons in a single transaction. They don’t give you the gift card unless you buy all 5 under the same transaction.

Are you gals just getting lucky with employees or are you pulling out the coupon policy and making them follow it?

I saw a post somewhere earlier this week about this deal; though I don’t think the holiday scents were specified. So, off I went to Target and bought my tins and refills and used my good coupons. Well, I guess I got the wrong scents because they were not $2.50 (they were $2.99) and I did not get a gift card. Oh well, it was still a great deal!

Did people find the holiday scents in a different area of the store? I didn’t see those scents where the regular Glade products are sold.

I have three Targets pretty close to me, and only one had the Holiday scents out. They were on an endcap of the isle where the other Glade candles and air fresheners were located. I think it’s a good possibility that some of the stores where stock isn’t being found is because they haven’t put them out yet.

Ok, printed out 3 rebates as it says you can submit for 3 per family (like your idea sabrina but let me get through this one 1st lol!)So if you purchase 6 ($15) with 3 blinkies -$6 and -$5 giftcard it is $4 factoring in the 2 rebates -$10 it is a $6 mm right? My question is can you request 2 receipts from 1 transaction because the rebate states you need original receipt and all must be submitted seperately. Also, will they submit the rebates even though you only paid $4 total? I plan on going today & I never used the scrubbing bubbles couponsat Alby’s last week so they are also part of the rebate, may do that too. Thanks, Tabitha

This one is soooooooo easy – Went in and bought 5 Glade Tins (found the holiday ones on a end cap) used 5 – $1.50 off of one coupons that I had and 3 buy the Tin get the Refills that I had printed off the internet – used a $5.00 Target card I had from a pervious deal – Zero out of pocket and got a $5.00 gift card – went to the car opened the tins and took out the $1.50 off one out of each and went back in – came to $5.00 so i used my $5.00 gift card I had just received – it was a game – did this 4 times – then they were out – hope they restock in the next day or so – be safe – Zelda

so here was my deal except i just did 4 transactions. The cashier was very helpful and then we even tried two “deals” in one transaction and it worked.
Bought 25 tins at 1.00 with the 1.50 off one in tin
rcvd free 25 refills with blinkie from Safeway BOGO
      paid for first transaction 5.77
paid 1.53 for 2nd transaction total OOP 7.30
still have 25.00 in gift cards plus 3 rebates at 15.00 so total money maker of 32.70
This was my first money maker soooo excited!!
