Kmart CEO (pictured right) is unofficially thinking of doubling coupons beginning this Sunday, November 1st. He’ll neither confirm nor deny the rumors swirling around. I would guess, that even if they are doubling it won’t be in ID or UT, but I’m getting excited at the possibilities for the rest of the country nonetheless!
During a Kmart double coupon event, Kmart usually doubles coupons up to $2.00 in value, up to ten coupons per shopping trip. We’ll have to wait and see if the rumors are true. . . whether the ‘monkey’ (said with all the love in the world, but seriously who is in charge, really? And what is the marketing strategy of confusion trying to accomplish?) in charge of Kmart doubles decides to ‘go bananas’ and double our coupons or just resort to ‘throwing poop’.

We havent had one in South Carolina either.
I had emailed K-mart customer service last week to ask if they were doubling coupons anytime soon,I finally received a response and Miguel from Retail Customer Care says they will not be doubling coupons the rest of the year. Do you think he knows what he is talking about? Last time they doubled coupons here (Florida)it appeared K-mart was the last to know they were.

Would LOVE to see double coupons again. Last time was my first time and we had a blast. The only problem I had was that all of the stores here in Jacksonville, Florida had a limit of ten coupons per transaction. Took a LOT of doing to get all of my stuff. LOL But, we did find some Dr. Pepper eight packs for 2.99 and each box had a $1.00 coupon on it. So, we got them for $.99!! Great deal!!

But this really means nothing because last time Kmart doubled, you could have received this same email the day before. Heck, last time they doubled it wasn’t even in the weekly ad. We won’t know for sure until some ladies head in on Sunday with coupons in hand to see what the registers do. . . I’m 51% sure that they won’t be doubling beginning tomorrow, but 49% hopeful that they will be! And that’s why I called it a circus!
