We received this email from a fellow KCL:
Hello ladies,I was just wondering if anyone out there may have had this happen – I submitted my Kellogg’s Fuel for School rebate on Sept 30th (the date it needed to be postmarked) and it just came back to me as undeliverable! The envelope has a “BOX CLOSED NO ORDER” stamp on it and there is one of those yellow post office stickers on the envelope stating “RETURN TO SENDER NOT DELIVERABLE AS ADDRESSED UNABLE TO FORWARD”. The date on the sticker is 10/08/09, so it must have arrived to Kalamazoo before the deadline (10/09/09) as well… I double checked the address and I had it right so I am not sure what happened and I was wondering if any other KCL’s experienced the same situation. I sent an email to Kellogg’s so we shall see what they say…Anyways, just wondering…Jana
Here is what Common Sense with Money has found out about this situation:
If you sent your Kelloggs Fuel for School rebate postmarked by 9/30/09, and had this rebate returned to you because the P.O. Box you sent it to was closed, you need to do this:
Please send the entire returned envelope directly to Kelloggs at P.O. Box CAMB, Battle Creek, MI 49014 and mark “FFS EXCEPTION” on the outside of the envelope. No need to call Kelloggs first.

I emailed the company and they had me send it back, so I am guessing I will still get my rebate.

I am assuming that it all needs to go in a new larger envelope, right?
Mine was returned – I called Kellogg’s and a very nice associate gave me a reference number and new address to send it to. Seems the company they contracted with closed the box “early” out of their control. I’m dying for the rebate and dell coupon to return home safely this time!
BTW – small padded envelopes are 33 cents at Walgreens this week with in store coupon!
I received my rebate yesterday (10/19)
I sent mine in over 6 weeks ago and am getting a bit nervous. I wonder if mine was in the wave that was being returned????!!!
