Just an FYI, my rite aid price matched the walgreens add…I had $3.00 off Pure and Naturals so it was 8.99 each…..for a total of 26.97, then I used the 5 of 25 and 3 (3.00 coupons)….

    OOP was 12.97….Only 4.32 each….was a good deal.

I tried to price match at my Rite aid today and was abruptly turned down by the cashier, so I thought that maybe I could get through to a Manager. Still a big fat “No”. I was so bummed!

I saw this deal on common sense with money earlier today…but I can’t find the extra 1.50/1 coupon anywhere. Do you know why it isn’t showing up for me?

  • Tina Middleton

I went to get this deal today and the $5 coupon won’t work for this deal because you have to spend $25 dollars before all coupons. It’s in the little fine print at the bottom of the coupon. Super sneaky!

    Tina -
you do spend $25 before all coupons?
you even spend $25 after coupons?

Not sure why they wouldn’t let you use the coupon???

Are the Pure and Natural included at Walgreens?

  • ERICA

Wondering…do you have to have more products than coupons or will this work with only four Huggies products and all of the coupons? Is the coupon in the coupon booklet considered four coupons or one?

    Thanks for the link!

ERICA – yes, at walgreens you do have to have the same count of items vs coupons..
four packs is to get the best deal from the $5 off coupon in the weekly flyer (or online).

I’ve done this deal twice this week so far, using 2 sets of $2 off that I had printed already. I was wondering if anyone knew the optimal order to give the associate the coupons. I’m sort of in the habit of just handing them all to the person at the end of the transaction. Each time I did this transaction it beeped at me after the 4th coupon. At the first walgreens I went to, they just pushed the other two coupons through. At the second walgreens, the associate called someone else over, I’m assuming the manager. She initially said that it wouldn’t take the coupons because “I had too many.” I had added filler items to make $25 since I had the 2 $2 coupons, making 6 items and 6 coupons. I told them that if they couldn’t take the other coupons then I’d go get my diapers somewhere else because what they were offering me $6 a pack is pretty easy to get (and I could just go to “my” Walgreens and get them to do it.) They “adjusted down” the price of the diapers so they looked like they were on sale for 6.99 instead of 8.99 because the manager (I’m assuming) said they couldn’t force the coupons. Just thought I’d let everyone else know what happened, so you can be prepared if you decide to do this deal. Still a good deal :)

I live in Idaho by the way.

You have to have the same number of coupons as items you have. Buy a filler like a piece of candy or pencil. THen you have your items up higher if you have more coupons than items!

  • Kara

I added a chocolate chip cookie to get it up to $25 :) Worked perfectly…I’m heading back tomorrow to do it again! Even the checker said, “What a good deal!”

  • wendy

The coloring books with the huggies coupon was .99 cents each. Did not pay to buy 4 books for the $1.00 off coupon. But still a great deal!

  • Tina

This SOOOO didn’t work for me. The coloring book coupon didn’t work because it has to be off regular priced huggies. I’m so sick of Walgreens!
