I am curious what kind of Jean Wearer you are:
a. Do you buy 1 pair of expensive jeans and wear them to death?
b. Do you have a good variety of cheap jeans?
c. Do you have LOTS of Designer jeans?
d. Do you have 1 pair of cheap jeans?

I am an A… What you are?

Definitely an “A” girl! I am true to GAP! :)

  • Brittany

Okay I will admit I am a “C” kind of girl. There is just nothing better than a good pair of jeans. In my defense though I will only buy my jeans at Nordstrom Rack so I have never spent over $100 on my jeans.

Hmmm…. I don’t think I fit into any of these. I have a couple pairs of mid priced jeans ($40 to $50 each) and a couple pairs of cheap Lee jeans. I’ve never spent over $50 for jeans. I’m having trouble breathing just thinking about spending that much on jeans. LOL

  • Sam

I’m a “C” I love my Joe jeans and my True Religion jeans but I don’t dare tell my husband the real price of my jeans….lol

  • Maren

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my one pair of Modbe jeans, only spent $50 on them since I was consulting then…but they price for $80. That is expensive enough for me, come on…why do we coupon anyway? To just get taken at the jean rack? Thrifty has touched every area of my life!

  • Neva

I am a “B” girl. I have a variety of clearance rack jeans, but I wear all of them regularly and I never buy anything that doesn’t fit right. But my absolute favorite was a pair of Express that my older sister didn’t want anymore. I loved them so much I wore them out. I still wear hand-me-downs, even at 31 years old!

  • emilee

I am also a Modbe jean girl-I love that I can bend over and not have my backside hanging out. Although they are priced at $80 if you think about how often you wear jeans, the price per wear is pretty cheep. And what’s better spending $20 here or there on a few inexpensive jeans that don’t fit well or buy one really good pair?

I think I am an “e” girl! I would love to have designer jeans, the only problem is that they aren’t made in bigger sizes! I am about 1 and a 1/2 sizes out of a pair of 7′s right now and its funny but one of my goals is to buy myself a pair of designer jeans!

  • Megan

I usually have 2-3 pairs of Gap jeans, not expensive but not cheap either. I’m 6″1′ so I need their Extra Long jeans you can only get online. I’m glad I haven’t found designer jeans that actually fit because then I’d be broke, HA!

  • kristi

I am a Gap girl all the way. I can buy my size easily on Ebay and, yes, yard sales. Two of my favorite pair of jeans (Gap & Nautica) were a dollar or two at a yard sale. I know that Gap fits and I know what sizes will work. And at this point, I am wearing them to death.

  • margie

I’m an Express Girl. I love their jeans and I usually get then when they are on sale. I have these one jeans from like 4 years ago and they still fit.

hmmm… right now I’m a “B” girl, but I’m in my baby phase, which means for months on end, while pregnant and nursing, I can’t fit into my jeans anyway, so whats the point of having expensive jeans? I think its about time to get a pair that REALLY fits well and that I REALLY love, regardless of price. I’m weaning and ready for a baby break for a year or so…

When I was in Hong Kong I got 7s for $10 USD. I looked everywhere for the “flaw,” and finally found it–there was a misspelling on the washing instructions. Otherwise, perfect 7s.

I am an “E” girl also…For me, I LOVE to spend money on Expresss designer dress pants (like the Editor, etc) but when it comes to jeans, I can’t bring myself to spend more than $45, and even that is rare. That does not mean I have anything against designer jeans! I WISH I could bring myself to spend the money, as I KNOW I would fall in love…I would have to be like Sam and never tell my husband the price of my jeans! Haha.

    I am an A. with a twist ;)
The twist is that I have bought my designer jeans at garage sales (serious) …and then I wear them to death, lol. Jean snobs have garage sales too…you just have to find them, and then stalk them again the next year, lol. One more than one occassion I have been in the back of someone’s garage shimying myself into someones 7′s, lol!

  • shelly

I love designer jeans! This is a GREAT deal! But I usually get them at Nordstrom Rack for less than $100. Everyone has their vice and jeans are mine!

  • Chelle

I am in the “C” category as well. I have not owned a pair of cheap jeans since I bought my first pairs of 7′s about 8 years ago. I own every brand under the sun, True Religion, 7′s, Rock Republic, Paige, Rock Revival, Citizens, Joes, J & Co. I do not discriminate.

  • Candice

I usually wear out my jeans and then by that time I can no longer find them again. Recently I have found my favorite pair of jeans at Maurices and very reasonably priced at $29.

  • Christy

Okay, I must confess too that I am a “c” girl. Although I rarely spend more than $10 on every tee shirt that I wear WITH the ridiculously expensive jeans, it is my LAST holdout that I will spend $$$ on for myself. I gave up $$$ shoes and handbags, shop ON and Target for myself 95% of the time, but I cannot resist name-brand jeans!!! Started with a pair of 7s after I lost the baby weight from DD, and now I wear 7s, Paige, Joe’s, True Religion and Hudson. I am lucky enough to live in an area with a couple of Nordstrom Racks, but even at $97, it is a splurge!!

I just read through all the comments so I can’t remember what letter I am. I mostly wear GAP jeans because they are easy to find in Long length and at 5′ 10″, they need to be long. I pine for designer jeans, but at the discount stores they never have long length, so I would have to pay full price and that isn’t going to happen, at least not right now.

  • Christine

I just bought my first pair of jeans after 5 years of wearing hand-me-downs from my stepson! I was able to get away with wearing the jeans he wore when he was 12-14 years old…and the last pair finally is too holey to wear in public. Anyhow, I felt I figured I was entitled to my GAP splurge (with coupon, of course).

  • Aimee

I am a C girl, I love my True Religion’s and own quite a few pairs. I also have other brands of designer jeans. I will buy expensive jeans and pair them with a shirt from Target or Wal-Mart. I have gotten some great designer jeans at Marshalls and TJ Max for a fraction of the retail price.

  • Erica

I probably qualify as a B although I don’t buy jeans at Wal-Mart or Target for the most part I’ve found that the jeans that fit me and my budget the best are Old Navy jeans.

Actually, now that I think about it I am pretty positive that every single pair of pants that I own are from Old Navy…

  • Rachael

Only Lucky’s baby!!! Since I was 16 it has been Lucky jeans all the way, hubby is the same way. I don’t mind spending $120+ on jeans that are so comfy and look great. It is my one splurge.

  • Karyn

I’m an A girl! I splurged today though and bought 3 pairs of of 7 jeans today!! I saved over $200 with the 7family coupon! I didn’t get free shipping though, did anyone else get the free shipping?
