Thanks to Rachel for emailing us this question:
I have been following your blog for quite some time and have always had this question that has been puzzling me. For example, you have posted today on the Hy-Vee coupon deals the following:
Pillsbury Brownie Mixes $1.18
Less $1.00/2 coupon 11-8-09 RP
Final Price: 2/$1.36 or $0.68 each
How am I able to go into RP, which I am assuming is Red Plum, and go into these dates to print these coupons? Is there a different way? When I go into the red plum website I cannot find these deals. Do you have any helpful pointers you can help me with?
Thank you so much for your help!
When we list a coupon to use in a scenario and we list a date with either and RP, SS or PG with it, this means the coupon came from a Red Plum, Smart Source or Proctor & Gamble Coupon Insert in the Sunday Paper. With the example listed above the coupon came from the Red Plum insert from the November 8th Sunday Paper.
If the coupon we list looks like this, it’s a printable coupon:
- $1.00/1 – All Natural Chicken Sausage, any flavor – (smartsource.com)
- $1.00/1 – Bausch & Lomb ReNu MultiPlus – (coupons.com)
- $0.50/1 – Florida Crystals Product – (redplum.com)
As a Krazy Coupon Lady, you should be getting multiple copies of the Sunday paper and organizing them in a binder (or something else) and waiting to use them until the item goes on sale. See more about organizing coupons HERE. And check out more about Coupon Lingo HERE
