Lean Cuisine & Skinny Cow: Target Scenario

Posted in  //  Krazy This Week, Target  //  Comments (13)

Target is running a store promo, “Buy 8 select Lean Cuisines, Get Skinny Cow product Free”.
Since this is a store promo, you may still use a manufacturer coupon on the skinny cow bars.

I confirmed that the truffle bars are participating in the promo and there isn’t a huge selection of Lean Cuisines to choose from.  Skinny Cow Ice Cream is my FAVORITE!

Buy 8 Lean Cuisine Frozen Entrees One Dish Favorites $2.00
Buy 1 Skinny Cow Truffle Bars $4.19
Use up to 8 $1.00/1 – Lean Cuisine Frozen Meal, TARGET – (target.com) prints only once per computer
Use two $1.00/4 (IE) – Lean Cuisine – (bricks.coupons.com)
Or two  $1.00/4 (FF) – Lean Cuisine – (bricks.coupons.com)
And Use one $1.00/1 (IE) – Skinny Cow Truffle Bars – (bricks.coupons.com)
or one  $1.00/1 (FF) – Skinny Cow Truffle Bars – (bricks.coupons.com)
Final Price: as low as $5.00 for 9 products ($0.55 each), if you can print from 8 computers. . .

Since you probable cannot print from 8 computers, here’s a scenario assumming you can print from two (Get creative, print from work, neighbors, relatives, etc.!)

Buy 8 Lean Cuisine Frozen Entrees One Dish Favorites $2.00
Buy 1 Skinny Cow Truffle Bars $4.19
Use 2 $1.00/1 – Lean Cuisine Frozen Meal, TARGET – (target.com) prints only once per computer
Use two $1.00/4 (IE) – Lean Cuisine – (bricks.coupons.com)
Or two  $1.00/4 (FF) – Lean Cuisine – (bricks.coupons.com)
And Use one $1.00/1 (IE) – Skinny Cow Truffle Bars – (bricks.coupons.com)
or one  $1.00/1 (FF) – Skinny Cow Truffle Bars – (bricks.coupons.com)
Final Price: $11.00, or $1.22 per product

For me, this is a Four out of Five star price.  I’ll definitely be doing this deal myself.

I know I’m not suppost to do this but can’t we just scan and print multiple target coupons? I tried it once and they looked exactly the same.

      Hilary,

This is a rookie mistake that may seem harmless, but it is ABSOLUTELY NOT OKAY. I don’t want to get too “dun, dun, DUN!” here, but don’t scan or photocopy coupons- EVER!

  • amanda

How does this work? My coupons say “One Coupon PER Transaction”. How can you use 8 of them at one time?

    • Joanie

Ah man! How do I overlook these things! One per transaction means just that, one per transaction. So you’ll probably only be able to do this deal using one Target Coupon, 2 $1.00/4 manufacturer coupons and one $1.00/1 Skinny cow manufacturer coupon.

  • hilary

yeah i just say that. oh well.

  • christina

Who cares if they look exactly the same! You are not suppose to scan them. One per computer. If you find eight computers, great! End of story.

My computer actually was allowing me to print two per computer. I was surprised but it worked. As far as copying goes, BIG NO NO! If you look at the printable coupons they have different numbers on them.

I was mistaken. Most of the printable ones come out with different numbers but these didn’t. Still, don’t copy them! :)

  • amanda

Ok…I have PRINTED out 8 coupons ( I was able to print out 2 per computer).

That being said, has anyone had any issues using all 8 in ONE Transaction? Coupon states only 1 per transaction.

I was just looking for some feedback.

I bought last week 5 Nivea body washes and used 5 target coupons with no problem. I am going on Saturday to get this deal.

I missed out on that deal! I was really bummed but I couldn’t find any manufacturer coupons. :*(

I was able to use two 1/$1.00 coupons in one transaction however this is how it rang up. I bought two Lean Cuisines. The first coupon took $1.00 off of the $2.00 sale price so it was $1.00. The second coupon appeared to cause the Lean Cuisine to ring up as $2.89 (which I assume is the regular retail price instead of the sale price of $2.00 (although the retail price noted in the freezer appeared to indicate that all Lean Cuisines were $2.54)) and then it took $1.00 off so that Lean Cuisine cost $1.89. I didn’t notice this until I got home and looked over the receipt. I also hadn’t noticed before hand that the coupon indicated only one coupon per transaction or I probably wouldn’t even have tried it.

Hmmm… whether or not we can do the dirty deal now, I’m still totally confused as to why i can NOT for the life of me find the Target Q for Lean Cuisine. Did I miss an important date??
