Yes it would…also some body washes might be more expensive upping your PGE amount…depends upon what you buy. I got some yesterday at 7.79 and then one was marked 10.49….

Great idea to use the trial size!!! Here is what I will be doing to get the lowest OOP:
Buy 5 Herbal Essences Trial Size $0.99
Buy 5 Herbal Essences Stylers $3.00
Buy 1 Nestle Crunch Bar .88
Price before coupons= 20.83
Coupons: -5/20 VV, -$15 for HE stylers, -.88 for free Crunch bar (Facebook promo)
+1.74 in tax (for N. Cal)
=1.69 OOP.
For those of you that have no tax, you will be under with this scenario, so you’ll need to add something or switch out the nestle bar with something you have coupons for!!!
I have enough coupons to do this 3 times which will get me to 59.85 (19.95 x3) and then I will need to figure something else out!!!

Please Please Please explain how the SCR works? I’ve just begun shopping at Rite Aid last month and I input my reciepts and it only gave me credit for one of the Huggies I bought. I’ve asked several people but no one has given me an answer. I was hoping that you ladies would be able to help me. Thanks so much! Denise

Hi Denise, I just looked at the Huggies SCR deal through riteaid.com, and saw that it is limit 1 $3 Rebate. So, unfortunately you can only get one Huggies rebate. Sorry! Hope that helps!

So this deal was a HUGE NO GO for me. It was actually quite amusing and I discussed the usage of the coupon and items I wanted extensively. I brought out “all my ammo” to no avail.
The store manager was even asked about it, and later I saw him talking to the store associate and the words “loss prevention” came out of his mouth!!!! Are you serious!?!?!?! I went by the rules of the coupon, and was pretty much humiliated.
I even told her that if she wanted to stop me from getting the free styler when buying a cheaper, trial shampoo, then she’ll have to stop me from using the venus razor/body wash coupon too. The razor was 7.99 and the body wash was 8.99, so the free item was more!!! Before she even read the coupons to see that there was no verbiage regarding “of equal or lesser value” or “excludes trial size” she kept telling me that BOGO coupons are B1G1, simple. And I said “yay! Exactly! Read the coupon! I’m buying a shampoo, and getting a styler!” She kept telling me that the venus/body wash was okay because it specified buy one razor, get one body wash free. Okay??? And your point? The HE coupon was the SAME concept!!! By the time I was done explaining, and she couldn’t really fight it, I felt I had won. But, “No we can’t take it.” Ugh!
Sorry, I had to vent, and give you all a heads up to a potentially huge argument and reputation ruin-er!

I was just at Rite Aid and tried to get the Buy One shampoo get the styler for free. They wouldn’t take my coupon!
After a manager came and looked at it she said since I had two regular size stylers the computer would only use the BOGO on the stylers since it takes the higher price. (The shampoo trial sizes were a lower price) I tried explaining to her that the coupon was for the stylers and not the shampoo, but she said ‘nope, the computer takes the higher price…’ I didn’t have the time to call Rite Aid customer service, so I just walked out. Oh well! I will try another Rite Aid when I have the time to call customer service. So heads up!

I have had nothing but trouble when it came to the buy one razor get body wash free coupon. The cashier just ended up pushing it through and then told me that yesterday he was told that they could only except one “free” coupon per transaction but he let me do it anyways. He was fairly nice and I let him know that that wasn’t correct in a very nice way. I kind of felt like they were treating me as a thief though when it came to that coupon.
