Any idea if the catalina will roll? Thanks for all your work!

  • http://sparkleandcharm.com Kathryn

    Great list! Thanks!

  • Joanie

Haven’t shopped myself yet, but YES, the catalina will roll.

  • Ginger

I just signed up for the Home Made Simple newsletter, but I can’t find the coupons. I signed up for a booklet to be mailed to my house but it said it would take 6 to 8 weeks to be mailed. Pretty sure the sale will be over by then! =-) Are there any printable coupons on their site?

    • Joanie

Remember this Cat will be printing through March 2nd, so you may have time to receive the booklet! Cross your fingers! We’ve posted about the booklet in the past so i’m hoping some readers have them now!

  • Rebecca

Any idea if the tide stain release is a part of this? There was a $3 coupon awhile back.

Also, the PG esaver coupons can help lower the total of these items…

    • Joanie

I’m going to cart my kids off to Safeway to see what’s participating as soon as I can get them dressed and fed to see what all is participating in the promo. :) I have posted EVERYTHING that I can confirm is participating. There are many other possibilities including Stain Release gel packs, but I won’t post them until I know they work.

If anyone else is back from the store and noticed other products tagged as part of the Spend $25, Get $10 promo, please leave a comment!

      • Joanie

Tide Stain release is NOT participating. (At least according to the hang tags) I did not actually purchase any of it.

      • JJ

get the stain release at Walgreens this week for .99 with that 3$ coupon!

  • http://www.graysharbordeals.com Annaliese

Thanks for going out and getting the items confirmed! Kind of a bummer that they aren’t including that many items in this promo. :(

    • Joanie

Yeah, I wish there was more too!

  • stephanie

    are diapers included?

    • Joanie

I have NO reason to believe that diapers are included. They are not in the ad or marked in the store as a participating product. P&G brand makes thousands of products, including Pampers Diapers, but it looks to me that only a select few P&G items, listed above, are participating in this promo.

Great question though! I want some Pampers too!
I’m anxious to hear from readers and their store experiences.

  • Esther

This will work well with the Thank You Mom P&G rebate…

  • Twin Mom

Note that the promo goes till 3/2. Next week might have better prices. I have a Tuesday night class and plan to look at next week’s ad on Tuesday afternoon then decide which week to do the promo.

    • Joanie

Thank you for reminding me that it runs through March! All the more reason to order a home made simple booklet!! Maybe it’ll come in time!!

  • Twin Mom

More likely, I wait for the $10/$50 at Safeway coupon that usually comes the first Monday/Tuesday of the month and combine that with the P&G promo to hit my $50 at Safeway.

    • http://www.castlerockcouponqueen.blogspot.com Jennifer

I would love to know where you get these coupons. It would work nicely with my dafeway purchases this week. Is it something you get in the paper or online?

      • http://www.castlerockcouponqueen.blogspot.com Jennifer

Sorry I should be more specific I am wondering where you get the $10/$50 purchase coupons. Thanks! :)

      • Cali

They come in our Oregonian newspaper. Perhaps it’s a regional thing?

  • dana

i spent $28 and did not get a Cat. even with pillsbury i did not get a Cat either. what happened? Downey was not participating according to the pull tabs.

  • Denise

Joanie/Heather I know one of you has a toilet-paper-snob husband, like mine. He’s a Charmin only guy. Would you consider this a stock up price?

  • JJ

Has anyone looked at the esaver promos? This could work out SO GREAT!! Like, save 8$ when you buy paper towels, stain release, etc….3$ with the razor/Olay deal (then rebates) HOLY COW!!

    • Cali

I don’t know which promos you’re referring too. Can you post a link? Thanks! :)

  • stephanie

This worked out well for me…I needed TP anyway and my Dh only likes Charmin ultra. I bought 2 of the big packs for $12.99 each. I had a .25 coupon, a $1 coupon, and a $1 ecoupon.

    • stephanie

so, $13.73 for $31.98 worth of fancy tp :)

  • Twin Mom

In western Oregon (where I live), Safeway usually has a $10/$50 coupon in the Oregonian (paper newspaper) and some local papers on the first Monday or Tuesday of each month. Not sure if it’s true in Idaho or not.

  • Ruthanna

I really wish Swiffer was a part of this promo! I really want some wet mopping refills…

    • http://www.graysharbordeals.com Annaliese

In my store the Swiffer Sweeper items were a part of the promo- not all the swiffer items, just the sweepers & refills … might be worth looking!

  • Diana

Every time I spend $50.00 (after coupons) I receive a $10.00 catalina. Now through 2/28. Did anyone else get this coupon? I’m going to go stock up on the $1.99 93/7 ground beef and $25.00 of P&G items.

    • Joanie

WHAT?????!!! $50 of ANYTHING? Seriously? Any chance you can share details or a pic?

send it to Contact@TheKrazyCouponLady.com if you prefer. THanks!

      • Diana

Yep. Seriously! It’s awesome! I sent you guys an email about it when I first got it. I’m doing some serious shopping tomorrow so I’ll take a pic of the Catalina! I got a coupon in the mail one day saying everytime I bought $50.00 worth of merchandise, receive a $10.00 catalina. Only problem, I’ve been saving so much, I hardly hit $50.00 anymore!

  • Kristen

I just got a bunch of great stuff – 7 items for $20.76-$10. Total deal but I am wondering…do you have to spend $25 before or after you put your Von’s club number in?

  • http://www.saving4myfamily.blogspot.com Saving4myfamily

My SIL did this deal yesterday and spent $19.96 & got her $10 cat. Are you saying it’s before coupons? I tried doing the deal myself yesterday and got all mixed up & the cat did not print. Customer Svc did end up giving me a $10 Raincheck to use tho. There are yellow tags that look just like the Spend $25 Get $10 tags so before careful to make sure it’s the correct item. Thanks for the great list & all your deals. You have a great blog.
BTW, were in Portland, OR and we get the $10/$50 usually once a month or every other month in the Tuesday Food/Day Oregonian.

Just wanted to share this interesting piece of info: Febreze Air Effects can kills ants in your home…http://tlcpetboarding.com/2010/01/10/febreze-air-effects-kills-ants/

  • char

i just did this deal yesterday at san mateo, ca SAFEWAY.
bought Bounty towel $9.99 and Charmin $9.99 and I got -6.00 for two ecoupons. So my total was $13.98+tax. And I got the $10 catalina coupon.

  • Natalie

I went to Randalls about 6 times yesterday. Each time I bought a combo of two items: Bounty 12 pack or Charmin 24 pack. Randalls is running a special that if you buy two, they get priced down to $9.99 each. Then with the $10 Catalina (which expired yesterday)I essentially bought these huge packs for $5 each. WOW! The $9.99 for 2 or more runs through 3/6 and is in the Sunday ad.

Kellogs cereal is running a $4 catalina for 5 boxes (thru 3/10). There is a coupon in Sunday’s ad (thru 3/6) with Rice Krispies on it. It gives a price of $1.49 for 3. In the cereal aisle were coupons for &.70 off one box (I took 5). I bought Fruit Loops and Corn Pops (5 total). The non-coupon price was $2.50 each. Between the coupons and the catalina, I spent $.40 per box. :)
