cheer wasn’t marked as participating in the store today (Tacoma)

  • Ashley

I don’t have the booklet in front of me right now, but I think there is a Q in the Home Made Simple booklets for 1.50/1 Dawn Direct Foam. Get your hands on 11 of those Q’s and you’ve almost got a freebie!
    2.49 x 11 = 27.39
    -16.50 (11 x 1.50)
    -$10 CAT savings
    = .89 for 11 Dawn Direct Foams!

  • Judi

I tried to load the p&g e saver and it said there were no coupons available to me at this time. My zip is 97220. Sad.

    • JJ

enter a different zip…I think once they are loaded it works anywhere?!

    • nicoloe

That happened to me. Go to profile and register your card first.. then it will give you available coupons.

  • carolyne

i wish i had that home made simple book, the foam is my favorite!

  • Esther

Already used a ton of my esaver Qs, anyone know what date they reset? looks like the promo is good through March 2nd.

  • Carrie

Anyone have a suggestion for a different zip? I tried a lot of the ones I know – and none of them worked!

    • Suzy

When I did this, at first it said that there was nothing available in my area. But after I added my Safeway card to my account then all the coupons showed up. Try adding your card and see what happens. Hope this helps!

  • KELLY

are these e-coupons considered manufacturer coupons? Can you use a paper coupon in addition to the e-coupons?

    • kristin

i was wondering the same thing… does anyone know???

  • sara c

anyone know if this is a krogers cat deal as well

  • http://thebudgetbeater.blogspot.com/ catherine

I used to be able to use P&G at Kroger and it won’t allow me to now. I have tried several different zips and nothing. Anyone know if Kroger discontinued offering P&G ecoupons.

  • sara c

catherine- i know that pg and kroger had some falling out and they no longer take p&g e-coupons but they do take the paper ones

  • Joanie Demer

Everyone who is having problems, I was with you!

    Sign into your account.
    Click “My Profile”
Make sure it’s on the “Shopper Card” Tab
and add your Safeway/Vons, etc club card

I had already added my card, but the website didn’t remember me. I had to add it again after furiously typing in every zip code I could think of to see what was up!

    Hope this helps!

  • Kristen

So what zip codes work? My So Cal one does not. Thanks!

  • Washington Mom

A HUGE thank you to Joanie…I was finally able to load my coupons after trying SOOOOOO many times. I was able to get it to work!! Much appreciation! =)

  • Dena

My zip code worked try 97801

  • tonette

thank you Joanie that was the trick mine finally worked too!!!

  • Amanda

Last time safeway had a “spend $25 on x, get a $5 catalina” I had ecoupons for some of the items. Because the ecoupons come off BEFORE your total is added up, they can lower the amount that you need to get to $25. It really messed me up because I had planned to spend exactly $25. An ecoupon for .40 off frosting (that I didn’t even know was on my card!) made my total 24.60 thus not triggering the catalina. Please factor this into your calculations if you plan on doing this using the eSaver coupons.

    • Jules

Thanks for the heads up! I was planning on doing that today!

Ladies with the question above, the esavers DO come off in addition to the paper ones. Makes some really good deals on Pampers….

  • Maggie

None of the zipcodes listed above work for me… And neither does mine.

    Any other suggestions??

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up about my personal fiasco at Safeway today. After trying several transactions for this P&G event (checking all my tags to make sure they were participating products and checking my total to make sure it was above $25 before tax and my coupons) my $10 coupon still wasn’t printing. I went to customer service and with my first transaction they were friendly and just gave me a $10 bill. I mentioned to the gentleman working that I was going to do 2 more transactions of $25 and I might be back to see him if it still didn’t print and he said that was fine. All was good till my 3rd transaction. I got to customer service and there was a different woman there who said that it wasn’t printing because I was using MF coupons that brought my total below the $25 mark. I explained to her politely that the ad did not specifically state that it had to be after coupons and that typically their ads do state that specific thing if that is the case. She wouldn’t budge so I just returned my items. I didn’t realize it at the time but she only refunded me the total of my order after my MF coupons. GRRRRRRRR. I decided to test her theory and went through the line with no coupons purchasing the same products. Guess what…no coupon printed. I called corperate when I got home and they told me that the total is “most likely” needing to be after all coupons and deductions. In other words she couldn’t give me a difinitive answer either.

My point in this long story is to give you all a heads up that depending on your Safeway the $25 total of products might need to be your total before tax and after coupons, even though this is not stated in the ad. I am soooo frustrated, hopefully this will prevent someone else from having the horrible trip I did today.

I was having the same problem at my Albertsons a few months ago. I didn’t have any coupons and purchased all qualify items and the cat still did NOT print. The store manager said that it was a problem with their registers. The promo hadn’t been programmed properly or something. It was fixed a few days into the sale and was working by the end of the week. Hope this helps :)

  • Sara

I tried several zips including the ones above, with no luck…any other ideas?

  • Jules

I did two of these transactions at Safeway today, and I noticed that the Swiffer starter kit and dry refills were on the list of items. Use the “Buy a Starter kit, get a refill free” coupon from a few weeks ago’s paper and add a bottle of 5.99 Tide (Use the .35/1 Q and the .35 PGesaver), and you only pay about $7 for the whole set after the catalina.

    • Jules

      oh, sorry, that math is:

      Swiffer starter kit $10.94
      Swiffer refills $8.94
      Tide $5.99

-8.94 with Buy starter kit get refills free
      -.70 from double .35/1 Tide
      -.35 Tide P&G eSavers
      -$10 catalina

      5.88 + tax total OOP

  • Stacy

I did this deal yesterday and bought:
4 Tides @ 5.99 (used .35 coupons each, one doubled)
4 Tide Boost @ 6.99 (used free coupon when you buy Tide)
    1 Dawn Direct $2.49 (used 1.50)
Paid (excluding tax) = $23.20 for all 8 plus $10 cat.
We do so much laundry in our house, this was a great deal.

  • Carrie

Hi, wanted to try this before prices change tomorrow! Still can’t load P&G coupons… something to do with my zip? I’ve tried every zip I can think of – and googled others to try them too!! HELP!

  • Carrie

Joanie!!! You ROCK! This also worked for me! Thank you so much!!!! Frustration averted!

  • Maggie

Spent $25 on participating products, was really careful about this, but no catalina! Is this because I used coupons to bring down the OOP total?? I was really frustrated with this…

    • Crystal

No, that should not have affected you getting the catalina. I did 2 different transactions these, past two days w/coupons for both & still recvd the 10 cat.

      1st: Dawn Plus: 2.49; dawn direct: 2.49; bounce dryer bar: 4.99; Mr clean eraser: 3.50; Air effects: 3.00; febreeze candle: 6.49; Mr Clean counter spray refill: 3.50 total= $26.45 – $17.50 in paper & ecoupons= $8.96 OOP & 10 cat

      2nd: 12 roll bounty: 12.99; dawn pure: 2.49; cascade gel pacs: 4.99; bounce dryer sheets: 4.99 Total: $25.46 – 16.50 in paper & ecoupons = 8.96 OOP & another 10 cat.
