intill I can get a hard copy poilcy about using e-coupons it’s just not worth my time… I am not trying to be a downer I just don’t like a hassle at checkout..trying to stack e-coupons has been nothing but headaches for me…if anyone finds poilcy about this I would LOVE to get my hands on it. happy shopping :)

Here’s my philosophy. They are posted on THEIR website with nothing implied or asserted that you cannot use them with Manufacture print coupons, it’s fair game. The same way you can use MC on trial sizes. If they didn’t say NO WAY, it’s our gain. Don’t worry, I am sure some suit will figure this out soon!

I am new to this site and couponing and I was wondering about eCoupons and whether they are store coupons or manufacturers…and how it works when you post a scenario that uses an eCoupon with a store coupon and manufacturer coupon all for one purchase? I get a little confused and I even read all the FAQ’s and lingo info :( please help!!

  • Sharon

Regarding the note about handing the in-ad coupon AND then your rewards card.. Is this saying it must be done in this order (in-as q before rewards card) or just saying to be sure to hand over both? Tia

  • dawn

I use the cellfire ecoupons, but have had NO success with Fred Meyer coupons. When I use my card it will not take off the Fred Meyer coupons I have downloaded. The Fred Meyer staff are no help. They tell me Fred Meyer does not load coupons on their card. I’m in Portland, OR so maybe it’s a problem here I don’t know. Dawn

Sharon – You NEED to hand over at least your in-store coupon before your FM Rewards card is scanned.

I’ve never had a problem using eCoupons and Manufacturer’s coupons (was told it was okay at my store), but for some reason, Fred Meyer’s store coupons and eCoupons don’t jive. Even if you didn’t use a paper MC, you’d have this problem.

For example, say that the All is $4.50, then the store coupon would take off $1.51 (to make it $2.99). However if your FM card is scanned BEFORE that store coupon is scanned, then your store coupon will only scan in at a $0.51 discount (because your eCoupon of $1 already came off).

This has nothing to do with combing eCoupons & paper MC – it would happen even if you didn’t use a paper coupon. The only way I’ve been able to get my full store coupon discount is to make sure that the in-ad coupon is scanned first.

    I hope that makes sense.

      Thanks Crystal!

great job Crystal! It does no good to back later and say something, or ask them to start over. In my store there is only one checker at any given moment and about 12 people in line…so I would get DAGGERS for asking!

  • dawn

Okay, I take it back. I just came back from Fred Meyer and my ecoupon work! YEAH!!!! Finally. And the best part was the cashier actually knew what I was talking about. Happy days. Dawn

  • londa

So I have never used the ecoupon before. So, it it correct to say that you can only buy one all and one wisk using the ecoupon as it will only work once? Also, I would be able to use a paper man Q with the ecoupon and the in ad coupon? What order do you need to use these in for it to work? In ad coupon, then ecoupon, then man Q from the paper? TIA!

  • Meghan

How do you get them to work in Boise? How do you load them. There is never anything to load. I realize Kroger is the same, but I don’t get one store at all for Boise!

  • mel

Hey girls! Can’t find the Wisk from RP1/31… did we get it(Boise)?

  • Chris

I’m so excited! Last night at the Fred Meyers in Pocatello, ID Monopoly was $10.99, I used the $3 off board game coupon and 10% bonus coupon, then the $4.00 off Monopoly from coupons.com
I got the full sized game for $2.90, plus tax!
My husband and I played 2 games last night (because I wont he first one) and hand tons of fun!
    Yay!

  • Sharon

Just got back from Fred Meyer.. It all worked like a charm..Got the prevacid that was $9.99. The ecoupon took $6 off and my Man q took an additional $6 off.. $2MM….. And I had a manq for $2 off any All detergent, so with the addition of the ecoupon $1/1, I got it for FREE! I also got 4 boxes of kellogs cereal cost $10.. had 2 Manq’s for $1.50 off 2.. so $7 and I got the 2 free gallons of milk and a OYNO cat for $3.. I spent $2 for all of the above!!! Woo hoo! thank you all so much!

  • Tracey

Can someone please comment on when the wisk coupon expires? I am having trouble finding those coupons. Thanks!

  • Nadine

    these are wonderful! Thank you!

  • BellinghamWA Mom

Today I went to Freddies and got 2 boxes of Frosted Flakes, two boxes of Corn Pops, (used 2 1.50/2 coupons) two gallons milk, one box prevacid (loaded the $6 off onto my card, and used a $6 paper coupon) one box excedrin, (loaded the $2 off coupon and used the “get one free” coupon that I got in the mail from the survey that was up the other day) 4 bags halls, (2 1.00/2 coupons)one bunch grapes, 3 pounds butter, two 18 packs of eggs, one bottle 3X ALL (used the 1/1 coupon, and loaded the e-coupon) and one bottle wisk (loaded the e-coupon and used the 1/1 coupon) and got all of that for 22.75!!!! Plus, I got the $3 catalina deal. I “made” $4 from the Prevacid and the Excedrin purchases!!!! What a deal!

  • David A.

You can also do the Scotch Fur Fighter starter kit for 9.99. Cell-fire e-coupon for 4.00 off and the printable 4.00 off making it 1.99. Not as good as Target for free but no hassling like @ Target and they are are in stock!!You can use a 10% bonus Home coupon too.I never had issues with FM e coupons and make sure they scan the coupons first. Most cashiers are trained to ask about the card as you are waiting for them to finish your order.

  • Erin

Didn’t work today. Also, the manager at the Freddies in Fairbanks, AK said that the store policy is that they do not allow overages. So, if your coupon results in an overage, they don’t accept the coupon!

  • Katie L

Tried the Prevacid deal at Fred Meyers today in Roseburg, OR. My e-coupon didn’t come off, neither did the one I loaded for All detergent :( And I didn’t get the deal on the kellogg’s that was posted where if you buy 4 you get a catalina, (combine that with the free milk and it was a good deal), but no Catalina printed. And the checkout lady just said she didn’t know about any of it, so no help there. Makes me not want to go back to Fred Meyer unless they are having a screaming deal that I can’t pass up.
I definitely won’t rely on Fred Meyer ecoupons anymore, though.

  • Christy

I’m in West Linn, Oregon and my e-coupon for previcid did not come off yesterday. However, 2 days ago I bought the detergents and both of those came off. Me thinks they are on to us!

  • julie

I am in King Co, WA and I went to FM today for the All and Wisk deal. I had all the available coupons for All to be $0.99 and Wisk to be $0.49. Unfortunately, the eCoupons did not take so I decided to return them (even though $1 extra for each of them are still a good price… I think) since I already have a good stock pile of detergent and they are not the detergents I normally buy. What a bummer that I’m having a problem with the FM eCoupons. :( Anyhow, all was not lost, though, as I found a deal for a free box of GuyLian Belgian Chocolate Twists. It’s a buy now and send for refund deal (Max refund = $4.99 and the sale price at FM is $3.69). At my FM, the rebate form was right next to the display of GuyLian Belgian Chocolate Twists.

  • Karen

I just got back from Fred Meyer in Federal Way Wa, I went to get the All, Wisk and Prevacid. I made sure not to scan my FM card until after she took off the coupons. the eCoupons (that I did load) didn’t take. I didn’t come home with anything. Bummed…
