*I didn’t read the fine print and realize the mail in offer was only up to $4.00, on a $4.99 product. I did not look to see if there was a smaller bottle that would be totally free after rebate. The rebate does not specify any specific store. We’ll probably find these hang tags in many of the stores that stock this new product.

I don’t have my binder next to me, but I think the BOGO was for Purex Detergent or 3-in-1 and this is softener (I know it looks like detergent! )

hey fyi…36th and state albertsons is doing a remodel and they have tons of clearence! Manager told me they are putting out more every day. I found purex 3 in 1 and regular soap for 2.99 and used bogo free coupons making them 1.50 each…regularly 8.99…..woot!

Yes, the BOGO coupon is for detergent or 3-in-1 sheets. It does not list softener.

I was just at Target last night and spotted the handtags you have pictured on the purex detergent. I found the softener in the next isle over. It’s a smaller container and it was $2.99. Looks like a free deal to me minus the stamp and the tax. So Purex softener for under $0.75 final cost!

i have a question about target. i was there this morning and they told me they could only accept one alike coupon per transaction. i had 4 gillette body wash coupons and eight bottles of the 1.99 body wash. but she told me i could do them in seperate orders. what is the point of this and should i complain to coporate?

because people don’t understand the difference between a transaction and a purchase- in this case it doesn;t really matter that you were forced to break it to seperate transactions- but for a gift card deal (buy 3 olay and get $5 GC for example) this would be a definite problem!

Anne, If you’re in the mood, then YES! Complain to corporate. Target policy says nothing about “not accepting more than one alike coupon per transaction” Bull! It sounds like your cashier is confused by the difference between purchase and transaction. Read my post here to hopefully get some ideas on how to convince them they’re wrong!

yes but it is harder to do seperate orders when you have 2 unhappy kids. shouldn’t have to do that. and for other deals that take more than one of the same coupon it makes a difference. can they do this?

Just a head up,
I read online that the purex sheets can get stuck inside your washing machine or even clog your pipes. Also a lot of people complain that it stains dark clothes. I bought two 3 in 1 sheets packages and after reading this online i just decided it was not worth the risk, i returned them w/o trying them. Has anyone used them or had any problems?

i just bought these for the first time a few weeks ago, and have gone thru the whole container without any problems that ive noticed. i have a basic cheap top loader washer and they havent got stuck or stained any clothes. so far i like them, the only thing is you probably need to use them with only a large load. with a smaller load it would probably be too much detergent, so if you have smaller loads (delicate items, etc.) keep a bottle of regular on hand.

Yes! I don’t know what brand but, my mother in law had to get her washer repaired and cost about $300 the guy that came said that it is not covered on the warranty….so save a couple bucks or have a large bill later?

Just a heads up…My Target has been putting their “super-sized” items on clearance for the past several weeks. A few days ago I went there and found the 36 double rolls of Quilted Northern packs of toilet paper on sale for $7.99 each (normally $15.99) I couldn’t believe it. I bought the 5 they had left and also had one $1 off coupon which made the deal that much sweeter. I love those clearance isles at Target. It almost makes up for the snotty cashiers that always give me a hard time about my coupons!
