    I’m so glad to hear it confirmed. Thanks! Swiffer starter kit and refills are supposedly triggering the P&G catalina as well. Haven’t confirmed it, so I didn’t want to post it, but if you need swiffer, tomorrow may be the day for you!

      I’ve gone to 3 different Tom Thumbs in my area, and every single one has swiffer starter kits/refills clearly marked for the P&G promo!! But you just have to be careful because it’s only the sweeper ($10.99) the wetjet (around $22) and a couple refills.
      I made a scenario with the sweeper, a refill, bounce dryer bar, and febreeze for only $4.49 ($1.13 per item) after the $10 catalina!!(and its done with $25 spent before eCoupons since that seems to vary in working)

      Sign into your account.
      Click “My Profile”
      Make sure it’s on the “Shopper Card” Tab
      and add your Safeway/Vons, etc club card

      When I first tried loading coupons, I had already added my card, but the website didn’t remember me. I had to add it again after furiously typing in every zip code I could think of to see what was up! Zip code isn’t the problem. The problem is your card hasn’t yet been stored.

      only once, darnit all! At least this way, hopefully the shelves won’t be empty tomorrow when we all go do this deal!

      Without the $3.00 eCoupon, subsequent transactions would still be a pretty great deal.

        The $10 catalina says “This coupon not intended for the purchase of Proctor & Gamble products”. Does that mean you can’t use it to roll this deal again like you are saying? Just wondering – first time doing a catalina deal like this:-) and my Esaver coupons didn’t work the first time. Thinking about doing again, IF I can use the $10 catalina on it. Anyone know?

    I just got back from safeway and the register didn’t print out my $10.00 Catalina and when I got home I noticed they overcharged me $2.00 per item. In my area the toilet paper and paper towels are $13.99 each, but they charged me $15.99 each. GRRRR! The checker told me to come back in the morning so that a manager can assist me with my $10 catalina.. GRRRR! :)

      Bralen…the tp in my area was 15.99 before swiped my card then, the savings came off. I wonder if the scanner didn’t read your card. After swiping my card (and purchasing 2 products), the price was 9.99. I hope this helps.

    I went to add my coupons to the safeway card and it says that my card number is in use by someone else. What should I do? Should I get a new card? I really want that TP!

        I figured it out… my husband had beat me to the punch and signed up with our card number. So, I just had to long in under his account. :0) I would call the customer service number if you havent tried that yet. They were super nice and very helpful!

      Safeway, Carrs, Dominicks, Genuardis, Pavilions, Randalls, Tom Thumb and Vons.

    I was reading that Kroger and PG hd a falling out and the PG e won’t work at Kroger any longer.
    Last night at Safeway, I got the toilet paper and paper towels and my catalina…after leaving the store, I spent 2.75(after catalina printed)

        Check on top of the freezers if the shelves are empty. We found some up there. Guess the space is there so they used it.

    I did this transaction last night. But, I threw in some batteries just to make sure I would hit the $25. So, I got it all for about $18 and then got the $10 catalina. I was pretty excited! There are e-coupons for the batteries and then, of course, tons of manufacturer’s coupons for them as well.

    My coupons online say: “Coupon Status: This coupon is being validated by the retailer.” Do I need to wait a bit before heading out to Safeway?

    My coupons also say “…being validated by retailer” and I, too, was wondering if I had to wait to go use my club card.

    Also, when you load coupons onto your club card, can you still use another manufacturer coupon (printed/clipped) for the same item???

      Ladies, I’m not sure the answer to your question, but I print-screened my PGeSaver account page to show you what they look like in my account. I haven’t redeemed them yet. Mine say, ” Coupon Status: This coupon is waiting to be redeemed” and I loaded them last night. The image is at the bottom of my post.

    Just an FYI for everyone using the ecoupons. I loaded mine today and much to my surprise, they weren’t detected. But, I called P&G and found out they are having technical difficulties this morning. They will be sending me a refund check in the mail. Woohoo!!

    When you first load the PGeSaver coupons to your card they will say they are being validated. Mine took about half an hour until it said- waiting to be redeemed.

    There is also an error message I’m occasionally getting:

    I just had to try a few times, refresh, etc and eventually I was able to add additional coupons to my card.

    I just got off the phone with P&G eSaver customer service because my coupons did not come off either. They were very helpful and will be sending me a refund. The # is 888-818-0540.

    I also rolled the cat into a 2nd transation for 2 more packs of TP as well and got another $10 cat. All in all I spent about $30 for 3 large packs of TP and the Bounty and got back a $10 RR, so about $5 for each item, plus I’ll be getting a refund from P&G. AWESOME deal for my TP snob husband!

    I went to Safeway this morning, and My e-coupons didn’t come off. So, I had the checker cancel the transaction. When I got home, I noticed that it said “waiting to be validated…” I called PGesaver and they said the system is down until this afternoon. Once that message is gone, then they should work at Safeway.

    LADIES LADIES LADIES!!!!! Get this…in oregon, the spend 50save 10 for Safeway came out today(in the oregonian) I got my Freezer spend 25 get 10 and my pg spend 25 get 10 today- and I used my spend 50 save 10——-AMAZING DEALS!!!!!!!!!! I left safeway spending 10 dollars and leaving with 20 dollars in catalinas!!!!!!! Basically have 10 dollars of free money in my pocket!!!!!!!! (with the help of other coupons and previous catalinas I was saving up)

    I keep trying to add my card to P&G’s site (have tried this on several different days) and it keeps saying that it was unable to update my account. This is so frustrating! I would love to get in on the deal, but just can’t get it to add my card. Any suggestions? Thanks ladies!

    I just got off the phone with P&G because my eSaver coupons didn’t come off, either. I spoke with a lady named Lisa who said that their system is now back up and working, and that anything loaded onto the cards today are now available, but she did say that P&G was definitely not giving refunds for the $6.00, because technically we could go back to the store and use the coupons now, so we aren’t actually “out” the $6.00. I saw in an earlier comment where someone mentioned P&G sending a refund, but when I told the P&G customer service this, she said that this was not correct information, that no refunds are being issued, and that the most they could do was send us coupons for our inconvenience. *Sigh* Now – do I make another trip to Safeway and spend the $6.00 I would be saving in gas?! Oh, well, I still got a great deal even without the $6.00.

    I finally got it to work. I called them and they couldn’t get it fixed, so I just kept trying. It eventually took it. Now off to buy some goodies! I do have a question though, is the buy 2 get them for 9.99 advertised? Are you able to buy only these 2 items and still trigger the CAT with them coming down to 9.99?

    I just checked my coupon status and it still states “This coupon is being validated by the retailer.” Have they fixed the problem?

      I just talked to a guy and he said they have not fixed the problem yet. When it is fixed it will say waiting to redeem or whatever. He guessed about an hour or so.

    I’m still a newbie at couponing and I was wondering how the P&G promo works. If I load the 2 coupons on to my Vons card and get the posted deal wouldn’t it look like something like this: ?

    Bounty: $13
    Charmin:$13
    Total: $26 – $6
    I have to pay about $20 to get the $10 Catalina coupon? (I don’t have the other 25cents off coupons)

      without the eCoupons or insert coupons that is correct. So you’ll be paying $10 out of pocket per package, but getting $10 back (so essentially $5 per package)

    Did anyone have Bounty 12 big rolls = 16 rolls? My Safeway has no 15 roll packages. The 12 = 16 rolls ones are 12.99, marked down to 9.99 when you buy 2 items.

    I just got back from safeway and my ecoupons didn’t work either. I’m pretty annoyed since I went in just for this deal and ended up spending $6 more than I budgeted. I guess I should start reading the comments before trying out any more of these “Krazy” deals!

    I went to Von’s and I was unsuccessful…
    My P&G e-saver coupons still say “This coupon is being validated by the retailer.” I loaded them first thing this morning after reading this post, and went to Von’s at 3:30 pm (PST) and they did not work.
    I kinda wonder if Safeway/Vons has something to do with the fact that the coupons are not “validated” yet?!? News about KRAZY deals like this spread sooo fast, that I am sure Safeway/Vons has seen this posted all over the internet and now won’t validate them.
    Would NOT surprise me…Vons customer service is the WORST and I think they HATE coupon shoppers ;-) I never have positive shopping experiences there when using coupons so I never shop there anymore except for a deal like this!
    I am going to keep an eye on my P&G eSaver account thru the rest of the day and if they do validate them tonight I will make a quick trip back.
    But I would bet $100 in coupons that they do not validate anymore P&G esaver coupons for anyone until tomorrow when the krazy deal is over. :-(

    I have tried to add my Safeway card several times and it just keeps on saying “failed to update user”. Just keep trying? Anyone else? Also, I hadn’t added my card prior to this b/c it always says there are no coupons for me anyway. But maybe I need to add my card first?

    I had the same problem. I called them and they couldn’t even fix it and had to send my request on to someone else. In the mean time, I just kept trying. Eventually, I was able to add my card. I just kept hitting done. After I added my card, the coupons came up. Now…I’m just waiting for them to change the status to “waiting to redeem” instead of “being validated by retailer”. I hope I can get in on this tonight! Good luck!

    I went to Tom Thumb in Mesquite, TX tonight and both rang up at $9.99 a piece for the mix and match deal regularly $13.99 ea. but my online coupons never loaded. I will call them in the morning about that. I did get my $10 Catalina which is still a pretty good deal!

    I went back to get my $10 catalina and the $4 they overcharged me, but the customer service clerk kept insisting that my total had to be $25 After taxes and coupons to get the $10 catalina.. Is this right?

    I’m supposed to talk with the manager tomorrow.

      NO this is NOT right! your total needs to be $25 before coupons and taxes. i did the charmin/bounty scenario twice and both times got the $10 catalina. do talk with the manager and explain that rarely do sales like this require your total after coupons and that the promo did not specify it at all. also explain it has been working for every one else, so why not you? if they wont budge, i would return it all.

    I just got back from Safeway, and my ecoupons did not come off either. I just checked the pge site, and it now says the “coupons are being validated by the vendor”. It was still a good deal without these ecoupons…but an additional $6 savings would have been nice!

    i did the charmin/bounty scenario twice. the first time only the charmin e-coupon came off so i called the p&g e-saver # to let them know the bounty coupon didnt come off and they told me to try again in a few hrs since they’ve had problems like this already reported and that it should be fixed by then. so i did it again quite a few hrs later (i was already planning on doing this scenario twice anyways) and the bounty STILL didnt come off. I still got another $10 coupon back so im only out 3 bucks, but still!

    My e-coupons didn’t come off either, and I didn’t go to the store until nearly 6 pm PST. When I check the P&G eSaver site, it says the coupons are waiting to be redeemed, so what’s the deal? I guess I’ll call them in the morning, but I really don’t want more coupons. I wanted $6 to stay in my bank account! I’m about ready to give up on e-coupons after all the trouble I’m having with them.

    My ecoupons said they were “ready to be redeemed”, but they STILL didn’t come off. So I ended up paying $6 more than expected. Bummer. Still a good deal, so I did the purchase twice, rolling the catalina, but I would have rather spent $6 less. I didn’t go to Randall’s until 10 pm tonight, so I guess I’ll have to call the company tomorrow.

    I’m also having issues with my cellfire coupons at Kroger not working – I hate to say it, but I only buy things that are a good deal without ecoupons – then if they work, great, if not, oh well. Too bad, because there are lots of free/very cheap things that I’m not getting because the ecoupons don’t work properly.

    Thanks for the great deal! I went in this morning but had problems with my e-coupons not working. The store held my items but the manager was insistent that the catalina would not print unless I spent $25 AFTER coupons. I went back late tonight, just in case, and it worked! Yay!

    Thanks so much for the heads up on the charmin deal!! I can’t beleive I just got T.P. and paper towels( that I used to spend around 35 bucks on at costco…never again!) for 3.55 after I rolled a catalina and payed california’s 8.25% tax, 1.77 each can I get a woo hoo!!! then I used my buy milk and cookies get free cookies coupon and since I bought 2 gallons of milk my safeway took off both packs of cookies.. and I’m not done yet I still got the honey bunches of oats for free with the coupon found by the milk in a blinkie.. I’m lovin Safeway right now!!

      Yes, thanks for the heads up! I just went to get this deal, but the $3/1 P&G ecoupons didn’t come off. When I asked customer service they didn’t know anything about the coupons online.

      Do I contact P&G or Safeway? Can they do anything?

    I finally got “waiting to be redeemed” on my coupons, after waiting all day for it…it finally showed up at 10:00 pm. Luckily, our Safeway is open 24 hours, so I was able to go in and take part in this deal. It was a lot of waiting, but the price was sure worth it!

    I just have to give a HUGE shout out to my wonderful cashier at Safeway. They were all soldout of Bounty and only one Charmin 24 pk left. He said that I could just get packages that would equal the 12 big rolls of bounty and he would type in the UPC for the package that qualified for the Catalina. So I got 6 pkgs of 6 Big rolls of Bounty and 6 12 Big rolls of Charmin (3 transactions) and still got the catalinas. He is my favorite cashier to go to because he doesn’t hassle me. Tonight the catalina didn’t print out with the frozen food (although the labels were clearly marked) so he gave me the $10 off on a seperate transaction anyway.
    I live west of Salem, OR in a little town.

    I happened to call my Safeway in Northern California for some clarification on the dates of this deal and according to them, the deal is still valid through 3/6? Has anyone else found this to be true?

    My Safeway had their toilet paper and paper towels on sale for $13.99 each so I thought I would easily qualify to get my $10 catalina, BOY was I wrong.

    My Burlington,WA Safeway did not give my my $10 catalina because they said I had to spend $25 after they subtracted the $6 dollar club card discount. So I ended up paying $15.62 for both Items. They said in order for me to get my Catalina I would have to spend an additional $5.. I guess my Safeway has a different promo policy. I can’t believe how rudely I was treated by the front desk manager when she was trying to explain their policy while other customers looked on.. Totaly embarrassed in Washington.
