There’s a $1 off Marie’s dressing in the last All You mag also.

what page? I only saw $1 off Marzetti Dressing on page 90

I think it’s suppose to be Buy $25 get $10 for the frozen foods. Also, I think there may be an error in the Hamburger helper deal. If you buy 3 @ .99 then use the .75/3 coupon + .75/3 e-coupon it comes to $1.47 for all 3 before cat. My Safeway doubles up to .50 per coupon (max 4 per visit), which makes it $.97 for all 3 before cat. Did I figure that right?

“If you buy 3 @ .99 then use the .75/3 coupon + .75/3 e-coupon it comes to $1.47 for all 3 before cat. My Safeway doubles up to .50 per coupon (max 4 per visit), which makes it $.97 for all 3 before cat.”

Using the scenario listed and assuming you purchased at least 5 participating items, it would be $1.47 for 3 ($.99 x 3 = $2.97 – $.75/3 insert – $.75/3 ecoupon = $1.47 for 3) , plus get $1.50 catalina. Therefore, the actual “cost” would be ($-0.3) after catalina. The $0.75/3 coupon would not double.

gotta love it when groceries are “FREE”

Yeah, I think the hamburger helper deal is miscalculated. Also, you have to buy 4 of them before they are $0.99.

    • Diana

The Catalina I received for the Hamburger Helper was $2.00 off meat when you buy 2 more Hamburger Helpers.

Is there a Nature Valley Granola Bar catalina going on at Safeway? It is listed as a current catalina at Albertsons. If that is valid at safeway too, does that apply to the Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters as well? Was curious because the last time we purchased the Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters the e-coupons for the Nature Valley Granola Bar was also deducted.

    • Diana

My friend and I went to Safeway this morning and she bought NV Granola bars and she did not get a Catalina on it.

  • Dena

oops just saw that you must buy 4 hamburger helpers to get them for $.99 so 4x.99=$3.96-.75/3 coupon -.75/3 e-coupon = $2.46 for all 4 before cat +.50 doubler if your store does this. Final price for me will be $.46 for all 4.

Has anyone tried to freeze mushrooms before?? This is a great price to stock up.

Jonie, I’ve never tried it, but I would imagine that it would be fine because you can buy frozen veggie blends with mushrooms in them. Great idea!!

Included in the Barilla Pasta sale is the Piccolini in last Sundays paper there was a coupon for $0.55/1 making it FREE -with a small overage :)

anyone know if the Contessa frozen meals are on sale again this week?

  • charolyn

There was a confusion today when I needed to talk to customer service (the problem ended up being one of my fruit snacks didn’t get rung up, so I missed out on one $5). But before we noticed that they said they got a memo that the $5/5 sale, has to be 5 items in each category (I couldn’t figure out if she meant a category like cereal, or a price-like the $2 group), but I pointed out to her it clearly says mix & match (even the fine print says nothing, except to buy in a single transaction). They were nice & gave me a store credit, but I don’t think she was correct, but she still thought she was. Just in case anyone else hears this, apparently there was some type of memo sent out in Safeway.
Also noted there are many more cereals included in this sale-a few I remember Wheaties, Life, chocolate cheerios, Reese’s puffs, other types of raison bran (I think all of them), some of the sugary Kellogg’s (now I wished I had gone before the Kellogg’s catalina ended), and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
Also all the Nature Valley varieties.
The hamburger helper Catalina was a disappointment, it was money off a purchase of hamburger (which I don’t really use) and you have to buy 2 more boxes. I remember someone else said this is what they got. Did anyone actually get a store Catalina? If I have time later, I think I’ll call the catalina number and ask.

    • JJ

The memo was about coupons in each category, not the category. I think she may have gotten confused. 5 cereals, 5 produce that category…but the cashier also had to sign-off on the coupon policy of only 1 internet printable per like item. SO-using 3 fruit snack coupons (or more) was denied. Marie’s etc. Glad I had back-up newspaper coupons too. Stinks though!
