Awesome!!!! Gonna try that tomorrow! Thank you!

  • Catie

    the blinkie expired on 3/7/2010?

    • Heather

The Blinkies for the Kelloggs cereal expire 8/30
Is that what you are wondering?

  • DB

I think that the Honey Bunches of Oats coupon with the milk purchase is expired :0( mine said it expired on 3-7-10

    • Diana

Yeah, I got on to say the same thing. Mine are expired too!

    • Joanie

Okay, I removed Honey Bunches of Oats and reworked the scenario without the blinkie coupon. Still awesome!

  • Tiffany

My safeway had a sign by the cereal that there was a blinkie by the milk, but the blinkie is not there…still isn’t. Will this work at all without the milk Q??

  • Kari

Same thing, my HBO wyb milk blinkie coupon expired 3/7. You could still use the $1/2, but wouldn’t be as big of a money maker.

  • Stephanie

Do you get mulitiple blinkies for the “$0.70/1 – Kellogg’s Corn Pops, Apple Jacks or Froot Loops Cereal, 12 oz or larger from Blinkie Machine In Store”???? Or just one? Can you use more?

    • Diana

My Safeway literally had them hiding behind a toy hung up. Fortunately for me, my two-year old was in the cart and starting grabbing them for me! Wahoo!

    • Joanie

Yes, you can use more than one blinkie coupon. You may use one for each product you’re purchasing.

  • Patrice

Yep, no go on the HBO w/ milk blinkie…expired 3/7/10. :(

  • Amy V.

It looks like from the ad posted below this that the Raisin Bran is $2.00, not 1.50. Am I wrong?

  • Amy V.

Okay, I see my mistake, it’s Post Raisin Bran, not Kelloggs Raisin Bran. Oops!!

  • Alissa

my HBO and Milk coupon doesn’t even say an expiration date.

I was wondering where you found out about the Catalina coupons, is it in the ad? I can’t find it.

  • Alissa

just kidding, just found the expiration date. 3-07

  • Beth

Does anyone know if you can roll the Betty crocker fruit snacks cat? Thanks in advance.

    • Joanie

      Yes, you can roll it.

  • Mey

I was wondering, doesn’t cellfire.com also have an ecoupon? Can we use Man Q plus both the ecoupons? If so, then do we use the coupons from bettycrocker.com, coupons.com,boxtops4education.com, pillsbury.com, smartsource.com, cellfire.com and also the cellfire coupons combine for 5 betty crocker fruit snacks? Sorry it’s probably a silly question but I’m still new to the whole ecoupons and not sure how it works. Thanx.

    • Joanie

Mey, the eCoupon is already listed under the fruit snacks.

You’re going to buy 5 fruit snacks and use 2 $0.50/2 printable manufacturer coupons. You will also load the $0.50/2 eCoupon, which will only come off once (if you do the deal multiple times, the eCoupon will not continue to deduct from the total).

      • charolyn

But check shortcuts.com also for more ecoupons-if you have them from different sites, that will give you more. Yes you can use manufacture & ecoupons together. Then yes, once you use the ecoupon it is gone-after a few weeks, I think it is, you can check & see if you can upload it again-also new ones come out monthly. Other ecoupon sites are p&g, safeway & fredmeyer.

  • http://ssalt6.silkfair.com Susan

Is that limit of 20 per transaction or per card member??

  • Matt

The fruit snack catalina does roll, I did it this morning. Also, you can use as many of the $0.70/1 Kelloggs coupons as you want (I used five for my five cereals). For some reason, though, none of my Shortcuts or cellfire eCoupons came up on the fruit snacks or the Honey Nut Clusters!! I was disappointed, but still a good deal. Any idea why that is?

    • charolyn

Did you double check to make sure they hadn’t expired? Also I have had them show up right under the item-though it is clearly marked ecoupon.
I have had one not work at Fred Meyer, but have had good success at Safeway. (Also FYI, the checkers, know nothing about ecoupons, so they won’t be able to help-guess they haven’t given them info yet-is strange).

      • DANA

I CALLED THE PHONE NUMBER AND TALKED TO A LADY REGARDING THE E-COUPONS AT KROGER STORES. SHE SAID THAT IF YOU ARE USING YOUR PHONE NUMBER TO ACCESS YOUR REWARDS CARD, YOU HAVE TO ENTER IT ON THE VISA MACHINE. YOU CANNOT HAVE THE CHECKER ENTER IT, OR IF YOU ARE USING THE SELF CHECKOUT YOU CANNOT ENTER IT ON THE DISPLAY SCREEN.

  • Megan

Does anyone know if the fruit snacks promo will work if I buy real fruit snacks (gummies as my kids call them) they are little and fruit roll ups scare me=messy. Or is only on fruit rollups/gushers/fruit by the foot?

  • Matt

Megan – Even though the coupon says fruit roll ups/gushers/fruit by the foot, it works on the fruit snacks, too. I bought ten boxes this morning, and eight of them were the fruit snacks (My Little Pony, Dora, Spiderman, etc). :)

  • Amy

I don’t understand the math… how does it end up being $5.50 OOP? Are you expecting overage from the Post cereals? My store doesn’t give overage, so my math comes out…

    Fruit snacks, 5 x $1 = $5 – $1.50 = $3.50 (2 coupons, 1 cellfire)

    Kellogg’s cereal, 5 x $1.50 = $7.50 – $3.50 = $4 (using 5 blinkie coupons)

So, if the post cereal is free, that’s still $7.50 oop with my math.

  • Megan

AWESOME!!!! Thanks :) So you don’t have to buy 5 of the exact same item, you can mix and match within each category. Like buy 5 fruit snacks, 5 nut clusters/granola bars, 5 post cereals… or could you just buy 5- 1 fruit snack, 1 granola, 1 cereal…just figuring this out! Thanks

  • http://beautifulfrugallife.blogspot.com/ Melody

For anybody who has done this scenario, does the $5 come off at the end of the transaction as a bulk amounnt or is it deducted from each item? For example, do the fruit snacks show up as $1 on your receipt or $2?

    • http://ssalt6.silkfair.com Susan

they come off as $5 at the end of your receipt top of the coupons…

  • Matt

Megan – You can do it either way. I did separate transactions to take advantage of the catalinas. I bought five fruit snacks, which produced a $3.50 Catalina. Then I bought five more fruit snacks in a separate transaction, using the $3.50 catalina to help pay for those. Then I got another $3.50 catalina, which I used to help pay for my five cereals. Those cereals produced a $4 catalina, which I chose not to use on my Nut Clusters, and I still have.

  • Matt

Melody – Mine came off as a bulk amount at the end, so it shows the fruit snacks as $2 each.

    • http://beautifulfrugallife.blogspot.com/ Melody

Thank you so much, that is a huge help! Helps us plan our transaction as our Safeway will NOT take IPs for over 50% of the line item cost. Thanks Matt!

  • Leigh

I did not see the Kellog Cereal Catalina on the list for Safeway. Is this working? Has anyone tried it? Thanks!

    • Matt

I got the $4 catalina for five boxes this morning. Today is the last day.

  • Megan

    Thanks Matt very helpful :)

  • Audrie

Is anyone catching that the deal is for KELLOGS Raisin Bran and not POST? The coupon lists for Post, but according to the ad Post raisin brand is not participating. Am I missing something, or is that just an error?

    • charolyn

So are you saying the Safeway ad printed it wrong-or the scenario above?
There is also the current Post Catalina-to factor in also, any type over 10 oz. buy 4/$3 off, 5/$4.

  • Tara

I bought five boxes of cereal and didn’t get the catalina.

  • Alissa

I just went to safeway and bought 5 boxes of betty crocker fruitsnacks, I used 2 50cents off two coupons, AND there was a double up to 4 manufacture coupons in the ad. I payed $3 out of pocket and got a $3.50 cat.
    I got paid 50 cents! I’m so happy :)

  • Megan

Hey Everyone. I went this morning and got five boxes of Kelloggs cereal. I bought 2 frosted flakes, 2 fruit loop, 1 apple jack. Rookie error! Because I guess FFflakes were not on the promo ( they were 3.49 b/coupons) Applejacks and Fruit Loops rang up 2:50 each. Still almost $1 a box after coupons. BUt I am going back to save the big bucks. This won’t count against my 20 limit will it? Has anyone figured out if it is 20 per transaction or 20 per promo? Thanks!

    • Matt

I think it’s 20 per transaction, and you can have multiple transactions. I just got back from Safeway during my lunch break. I brought 15 boxes of cereal (Froot Loops, Apple Jacks, and Corn Pops) to the checkout and did three transactions of five each, rolling the $4 catalina each time and using the blinkie coupons. I bought five boxes this morning and used that cat on the first transaction, so nothing out of pocket for 15 boxes of cereal. :)

  • Brooke

Hey everyone–I was just reading the fine print on the back of the ad and it says, “All limits are per household, per day.” Hopefully that’s helpful!

  • Jessica

Has anyone else had trouble using their internet printable coupons at Safeway? I was told today that you can only use one internet printable for an item, ever. So even though I can print off two Nature Valley Nut Cluster coupons from a website I can only use one. Ever. Not per transaction, not per day. She literally said, ever. I guess it is in their coupon policy which no one could find to show me. Anyone else have this problem or is it just my Safeway?

    • charolyn

I’m going to go tomorrow & have lots of the internet Nature Valley Nut Cluster coupons, so will let you know what happens.

      • charolyn

Used two internet printed nature valley granola bars and they didn’t say anything-even looked at them closely. What they told you doesn’t even make sense, as you can use many regular paper coupons!
