Stacking Coupons: $1.50/1 Starbucks Store Coupon & More

Posted in  //  Fred Meyer, Printable Coupons, Target, Walgreens  //  Comments (15)

Stacking coupons.
It’s a Krazy Coupon Lady’s favorite Secret Weapon.  Here are 3 of my favorite stackable coupons this week:

TARGET:
Starbucks Coffee
$1.00/1 Starbucks Coffee from SS 3/21
Stack with the $1.50/1 Starbucks Coffee – (target.com)
Thanks BellinghamWA Mom

WALGREENS:
Planter’s Trail Mix $1.50
$1.50/1 Planters Products – (facebook)
Stack with the $1.00/2 Planter’s Coupon from the Walgreens March Coupon Booklet (in store)
Final price: More than FREE

FRED MEYER:
Oscar Mayer Bacon $2.50 with in ad coupon
$1.50/1 – Oscar Mayer Bacon – (kraftbrands.com)
Final price: $1.00 each

Stacking Coupons:  Stacking coupons refers to using both a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon on one product.  Nearly all stores will allow you to “stack”.  Only one manufacturer coupon may be used per item.

There are no more bacon coupons available to print. :-(

My friend and I ran into a situation at Walgreen’s yesterday regarding stacking store and MQ’s. We were buying the Schick razors at 6.99 and using the $2 Walgreen’s in-store coupon, along with the $4 MQ from yesterday’s paper. At the first location, the coupon beeped so they rang them through using the MQ first….it then worked fine and we got the razors for .99 each. At the second location, it beeped again, we asked that they scan the MQ first and the cashier refused. She said that there was a new Walgreen policy stating that the store coupon must be scanned first. Cashiers have been getting fired for not following the procedure. She called over the manager (who I must say was rather rude to us) and she further explained that it was a new corporate policy. I asked why it mattered, since it wasn’t even a money making scenario. She said that certain MQ’s will not work with store Q’s and if it beeps for them using this new policy, they will not accept both coupons. I now know which Walgreen location I WON’T be shopping for these types of transactions. I’m going out again today to another location to see if I have the same problem.

This situation is ironic because when KCL asked Walgreen’s corporate office for an official coupon policy, they explicitly told KCL that Walgreen’s did NOT have an official coupon policy. Now they come with these what appears to be a “make-up” “official” policy that works to their benefit. IMHO, unless the Store Q does not explicitly state that no other coupons can be used in conjunction with the store coupon, they should have an official corporate policy for refusing MFC coupons. From my personal experience, it appears to be at the employees or the manager’s whim.

Isn’t there a catalina for bacon at Fred Meyer too?

Can’t seem to locate the target starbucks coupon. what zip code are you using to get it?

    • BellinghamWA Mom

The zip I used was 98226. I printed it once and it is no longer appearing for me, so it must have a print limit. Good luck!!!

PLANTERS COUPON no longer avail on Facebook. Here’s from their page on Friday:
WOW! The coupons are going like crazy, so much so we have run out of them. I have my people scrounging in the sofa for some change. Check back in a few days for more coupons.

    • Heather

The Planters coupon will be back later this week… or so I heard :)

i was told today at my walgreens in WI that the walgreens coupon booklet q’s cannot be stacked with man. q’s. its a new policy that started this month. what the heck is up with all these stores latley?

Regarding the issue of stacking coupons at Walgreens…this is now a prime reason I do longer shop at Wags. I don’t like the uncertainty of the Coupon Police at checkout. Its not worth the stress. My Wags has the worst store employees. I’d rather pay a few cents more and get whatever the scenario is at some other store. I wasn’t even a serious Wags shopper to begin with–as lived out the country for a number of years and only recently returned. Nope–I’ve just had my fill of Wags to last a lifetime!

You should also be able to stack the 3.00 Target coupon off Hasbro games with the 4.00 off Connect 4 MFC and get it free!

  • cody

i went to wags today to do get the planters trail mix. ive had problems with their stores and accepting coupons in the past, so i didnt try to do anything for free. i used their march book coupon $1/2 and tried using the facebook planters coupon $1.50/1 getting two packs of trail mix for .25 each. the girl didnt seem to have a problem with using both a manuf coupon and their coupon but she said they no longer accept coupons in black and white. should i have complained to a manager? what can i do? i dont want to have to buy color ink just for walgreens! aaaahh!

My Target was giving me a hard time about using Johnsons Baby Products coupons on the Super Sudzer E-Z Grip Soap. So, I sent an email to The Johnson & Johnson Company asking if it is acceptable to use an “J&J Baby Product” coupon on the E-Z Grip Soap. The answer was “Yes”. Yay!!!. I have copy and pasted J&J’s response below so that you can educate your Target if they are giving you a hard time.

“Thank you for contacting the Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies, Inc. Information Center. It is always important to hear from our consumers, and we appreciate the time you have taken to contact us.

In regards to your recent inquiry,You can use the Johnson & Johnson baby Product coupon for any of our skincare products, including the Super Sudzer E-Z Grip Soap.

Again, thank you for your interest in our company. At our No. Calif. Safeway, Starbucks coffee will be 5.99 this weekend. I plan on price-matching at my local Target, using both the $1.00 and $1.50 coupons.
