Do Rite Aid coupons work like Walgreens coupons? Meaning if I bought 2 bags of Huggies and used that $2.00 off Rite Aid Coupon, would it deduct 2 times (like Walgreens) or just once?

I understand the $1.00 rebate is just for the first pack, but I’m thinking $3.99 per bag of Huggies would be pretty good.

    • Joanie says:

You’ll have to print the Rite Aid Coupon more than once if you want to use them for multiple times. Rite Aid Video Values coupons are NOT like Walgreens store coupons in this regard.

  2. Steph says:

I’ve never done coupons at Rite Aid before. Will they let you use the Huggies MC with their Rite Aid coupon, which also states it is a MC and it cannot be combined with any other offer?

    • Joanie says:

The coupons from Rite Aid’s video value section are Store Coupons (even though they say “Manufacturer Coupon”). The format in which they print and the barcode show us this. You’ll see the code under the barcode begins with “RC”. Even if you had another store allow it (which they wouldn’t) these coupons would not scan at any other store.

My best guess as to why they write ‘Manufacturer’s Coupon’ is because the manufacturer certainly pays Rite Aid to host the videos, or commercials, that we watch to gain access to the coupon.

There is no address to send the coupon for reimbursement and the coupon is coded as a store coupon– it is a store coupon!

Depending on your store, you’ll likely be unable to use video value coupons in addition to in-ad coupons, since they are both “store coupons”.

  3. Kristin says:

OH snap! Just got home from Rite Aid… may be making another trip! 12 cents per diaper for size 3, even without the SCR!!!

  4. Becky says:

Is this a deal for next week? Because the Huggies jumbo pack diapers are not on sale this week. Just the Mega packs are B1G1 50% off.

  5. Keana says:

Here’s another scenario that would work great.

Buy 3 Huggies Diapers at $8.99 each
    Total $26.97
    Use $5/25 Rite Aid Coupon
    Use 3 $3/1 Huggies Coupons
Use 2 $2/1 Video Values Coupons
    Total = $8.97
    Submit for $1 Rebate
Makes it $2.65 per pack of diapers.

i just got back from rite aid where i paid .47 for 25.47 worth of stuff. i’m so proud of myself.

the best deal was 180 tabs of ester-c for .49
it’s a BOGO (starts tomorrow, but the manager was so nice and gave it to me tonight.)

    so 2 boxes for 11.49
use the $1 coupon from february’s adperk.com and 2 of the $5/1 coupons from SS 2/21

sweeeeet! (i also got sudafed and visine in my purchase if you were wondering.)

Can you use more than one VV coupon (2 huggies VV) per transaction?

    • Rosie T says:

its a YMMV situation. Its pretty obvious that Rite Aid really only intends one print per account so I try not to use 2 identical video values coupons in one transaction. But I do print multiples and use them one at a time at different stores. I have used multiple VV coupons in one transaction before… best thing to do it probably ask the manager at your local store. Worst thing they can say is no… and if they treat you badly for asking the question leave and take your business to another store.

      • Ann Wilson says:

Thanks! I have never used them before and it would have been a great deal if you could use more than one per transaction!

      • anonymous says:

Even though it would make a better deal, I feel better about myself if I honor the wishes/intention of the coupon and for me personally that is much more important than saving a couple extra bucks.

      • anonymous says:

How do you justify this (ethically), when you state that you are pretty sure rite aid intends for them to be printed only once, but you admit to printing multiples anyway to try and get away with it, which you have.

I’m always curious as to how people justify things like this. I’m not judging you, just wondering.

      • Rosie T says:

well, for starters there is an account for every adult in the house. Plus my mom allows me her coupons… that gives me multiple copies of each coupon. This month I did print a double set from my husband’s account, but that was because the coupons failed to print from my account. And, lets be honest, you are judging.

      • anonymous says:

Nope, no judging just trying to understand, and now I do. If you are using other people’s coupons, then that makes perfect sense.

And, I will be honest, it DOES bother me when I see people using 4-5 of these coupons and posting that in their money-saving scenarios because I want to save money ethically and cheating to get extras, to me, is not ethical.

BUT, if you are getting yours legitimately then it’s a non-issue. That’s exactly why I asked. No need to get defensive if you aren’t doing anything shady.

  8. Becky says:

why do the comments over lap eachother making it so hard to read?

  9. Staci says:

Thanks for this great info and site. You save me so much money. I am loving the deals lately.

  10. Kim says:

How do you print more than one VV Q? I don’t see that option. Thanks!

  11. Kristin says:

huggies were 11.99 at my rite aid :(

  12. Donaca says:

The coupons from coupons.com say pharmacy under the rite aid logo. Is it possible that these are only to be used for pharmacy items?

The coupons from coupons.com $3/$15 say pharmacy under the rite aid logo. Is it possible that these are only to be used for pharmacy items?
    ~Donaca

    • anonymous says:

THeir logo includes the word “pharmacy” (go to their website to see what I mean). And actually, it’s the opposite–these coupons are not good on prescriptions.

  14. bonita says:

I cannot find the Huggies VV coupon for my life!!!

  15. Vanessa says:

    I can’t find the $5/25 Rite Aid coupon.. :/

    • Becky says:

I couldn’t find it either. Any suggestions?

    • Donaca says:

The Rite Aid V.V. coupon is $5/20 and appears after you have earned 20 v.v. points. It appears at the top of the list of your coupons you’ve earned for watching the videos.

  16. Donaca says:

The coupons.com Rite Aid coupon for $3/15 is available only to certain zip codes. 83712 is listed on the scenario, and 97321 works for me too. You should be able to select the zip code you want to use when you go to the coupons.com website.

  17. Tina says:

Also wondering what zip to use to get the 5/25 because it isn’t under the 30320.

  18. Angela says:

Bonita – the Huggies $2.00 VV coupon was early in March. Mine said I had it since March 5th. Check your rewards section, maybe you already did it and it’s there waiting. Otherwise it seems they pull certain videos (within the same month) off their site after a while. who knows?

  19. Tina says:

Now I want to do the 3 huggies coupon deal and use the $5/$25 what order do I give the coupons because if I give all the other first my order won’t be $25. Thanks for all the help

  20. Angela says:

Tina – give the $5/25 coupon first!
