      I doubt it. They did that once before, almost two years ago, but I haven’t seen them try it again. Worth a call, I suppose.

    What if your local KMart is on the list but they are clueless about it? What if you called the 800 number and they are clueless too. Is there anywhere official online through KMart that proves that this is true? Where did you guys learn about it? Just having a hard time convincing the stores. Thanks for the help.

      This will be the case for many of you, I presume. Even if the clerks and managers don’t know about it, just take your $2 coupons in and they will double at the registers. The registers are probably going to be more informed than the employees at your Kmart. The list of participating stores is actually very official and impressive compared to what Kmart does.

      Why they don’t advertise the doubles in the weekly ad is beyond me. And I can tell you not to waste your time with the 800 #; they’re likely as clueless as the stores. Rest assured, the register should know what to do. Just take in your coupons and do your transaction. That’s my best advice!

    So i went to use my coupons, and had a horrible experience. First off they won’t take any on line coupons, and then one of my coupons didn’t come off so I told them, they wouldn’t give me my coupon or money back, and then the lady I thought was going to phsycial harm me, I had to go to the return area and she SLAMMED the pager phone and almost hit me in the face with it she picked up so high, slammed all my stuff around, and told me how she was going to rack her brain for me, and then won’t look up my friends rewards card number, said I had to go back through the line…so we did and she came over eves dropping and then pops in and says anything that we need, we need to ask her, implying that we were trying to be sneaky behind her back. BEYOND RUDE, almost ABUSIVE!! Whats the best number to call and where can I get the coupon policy..cause im not afraid, going back to use my coupons

    I had a bad experience too with a manager that didn’t know what he was talking about, but after I shared with him that I would be tellling the Real manager and calling corporate and that I was going through the line anyway…he left me alone. Once I got in the line, it was a breeze. I ended up paying $10, but I bought the huge box of Tampons for my niece in college and the fancy toothbrush…plus visine and deodarant (both free0my daughter was excited about her $0.50 Barbie bandaids Thanks for posting this as I would have been none the wiser since it isn’t advertised anywhere!

    I too had a less than satisfactory experience today. Yesterday I emailed customer service about my store’s lack of knowledge about this sale. They conformed that my store was participating and emailed me lots of info. I printed the email and list out before going to the store. As expected, no one knew about the sale and the register did not double all of my 5 coupons — in the end, I lost $2.50 because the register did not double properly. Did anyone else have this problem?

    I have just emailed customer service to explain my problems and I hope they can shed some light on their coupon problem and their policy (could not use 2 coupons on body wash since one was BOGO?!)

    Do you have any information on Kmart coupon policy?

    I had a problem yesterday, it will only work if you have your card with you to scan. they can not manually enter you number. Also, if you use a coupon over $2 it will not double at all. If the item you but id $1.99 and you use a coupon for $1 off you will get $0.99. I have been told I can do it once a day does anyone know if this is true?

      Tiffany, at my Kmart, the system will double five Qs per transaction. I did three transactions today, each one with five Qs. No problems, everything doubled just fine.

      call your local store to verify they are participating…mine was on the list but they said they got an e-mail from headquarters telling them they were not participating!

    Just a heads up… if you buy several items from the same manufacturer be on the lookout because your cashier will have to select which item each coupon is for. This can be a problem if for instance you have a Pantene shampoo for 3.50 with a $2 coupon and a Pantene styler for $1.98 with a $1. If they select the shampoo for the $1 and the styler for the $2, then instead of everything being free you will end up paying 1.50. Has happened to me several times before, so just a heads up. Good luck everyone!

    In my Kmart ad the Rimmel is B1G1 free and the signs at the store said B1G1 50% off, so I checked with the cashier and they are B1G1 free, so I ended up paying 1.50 for 2 mascaras (7.49 and 6.99 regular price) with a $2/1 and a $1/1 (I only printed 1 of the $2/1 b/c I thought why would I need two mascaras at once–silly me. next time I’ll print 2!)

    The Corvallis Oregon Kmart has been great. In fact I found a coupon for buy one Gillette Deodorant and get a Gillette body wash for free. So for both items I paid $.49 total. They let me use the Kiss coupon without a problem and were in fact encouraging for me to return with other coupons from the Safeway next door. Too funny!
