    Ouch! Terrible pricing!

    • http://heartinprogress.blogspot.com Denaye

Why do you say that? I think $.49 for cereal isn’t too bad…

  • Kathy

There is a Fuel for School rebate: $10 for 10 items. Forms are printed in some grocery store ads (mine was in my TOP foods ad). The form does not say the items must be purchased at TOP but, like the previous years, all 10 items must be on the same receipt.

  • jenn

confirmed cinnabon cereal included!! and on the boxes i got they have a try it free rebate inside box too

    • Adrienne H.

how much was the cinnabon cereal?

      • http://www.fullerfamilyhappenings.blogspot.com christine

$1.99 is the price. i used 4 1.00 off cinnabon coupons, and 2 1.25 of 3 coupons. plus i got the mail in rebate coupons and got my cereal for 34 cents a box. this is great as i have 4 kids. thanks everyone.

  • jenn

ps. didnt try keebler snack cracker sandwiches because there was no tag on that item, didnt want to chance it.

  • heather

    does the cat roll?

    • deb

Yes, the cat does roll. I just did this today at my safeway.

  • Michelle

If you have a Top Foods, go there instead. I got the instant $10 off, a $10 catalina, the $10 rebate form and their cereal is on sale for 2.99 each. Plus, you get a free gallon of milk. With coupons, I made out like a bandit, and made $3 while purchasing my 10 boxes of cereal and a gallon of milk. This was in the East Wenatchee Top Foods.

    • Cheri

So the cat is printing at TOP also?? I may have to try this deal there then. I’m in Auburn, WA. The only hang up is I was wanting some Special K and it doesn’t say that is on sale at all in their ad. Still a great deal though. Did anyone ever figure out if the Cat is rolling? Thanks, Cheri

I just came back from Vons, and can CONFIRM that the catalina is ROLLING! Seriously, can you have enough cereal, pop tarts, or eggo waffles?? That’s our entire food storage!
    Kathy

  • Devin

I got my sales mixed up and went to Albertsons with all my coupons and everything, I got 10 things of pop tarts and paid but got no catalina, so I rechecked the circular they had there before I left and realized I went to the wrong store!!!!

  • Meeta

Snack Crackers sandwich are 2 for $4 – buy 10 – receive instant 10$ off – pay $10 and get $10 catalina – making it free.. same for Eggo Waffles… 10 packs free…

chips deluxe will be 10 for $5 after instant saving and catalina…

    confirmed only for GIANT PA..

I HAVE TO SHARE WHAT I DID!

Not that long ago I did a cereal sale at Albertsons for Kelloggs cereal. I had bought some Apple Jack that had $5 worth of coupons in the boxes. They ended up being great coupons too! I got some $1 off fresh produce with the purchase of cereal, $1 off milk of any brand or size with purchase of cereal, $1 off coffee for the same, and more. I was excited. Without these coupons it would have been that good. Still a 50% savings, but I’ve done better. So, I made it better! Here’s what I did:

    SAFEWAY
4 boxes of Corn Flakes $3.49 ea
    - buy 10 they become $1.99 ea
    -used 2 $1 off two c
    2 Frosted Flakes $3.49 ea
    - buy 10 they become $1.99
    -used $1 off two c
    2 Apple Jacks $3.49 ea
    buy 10 they become $1.99
    -used $1 off two c
    2 Raisin Bran $3.49
    buy 10 they become $2.99
    -used $1 off two c
2 bunches of bananas $.59 lb
-used 2 $1 off produce with purchase of cereal
1 Gallon of Dairy Glenn Milk $2.49
    -on sale for $1.99
-used $1 off milk with purchase of cereal
    My Total: $17.78
    My Original Total: $40.28
My Savings: $22.50 or 55% (And I walked away with a $10 catalina for my next trip!!!! Yay me!!!)

  • JoJo

when does the catalina expire? I dont go to safeway often so i dont want to waste it…

    • Dianne

I haven’t done this but usually they are 2 weeks from when you shop. If you were only going to do this deal once, I would do what Rachel suggested, but if you were going to do another cereal deal, I would save it and use it there and then get another $10 OYNO Catalina. When you are done rolling this deal is when I would spend the Catalina on the other items that are costly that you have to constantly replace, produce, milk, meat, toilet paper, etc.

  • http://www.savvywithsavings.blogspot.com Rachel

Just set up a second transaction of fruit and milk (things that are costly) and turn around and use your cat right away.

  • http://www.savvywithsavings.blogspot.com Rachel

is the catalina rolling at Safeway? I’m tempted to do it again. I have $1 off c for the Fiber Plus which is a $1.99 on sale. Hmmmm, worth a try!

  • Jackie

I do not see all the coupons that you listed for kelloggs.com or redplum.com. do i need to change the zip code? thx!

  • Darlene

Can anyone confirm that Morningstar is included in the CAT? I went to Safeway yesterday and it wasn’t tagged as participating and I don’t see it listed in the ad.

  • Christina
    • Catherine

This is the 2009 rebate form….

  • jenny

So which scenario would be the cheapest up front so i can get the $10 cat and then start rolling it after that…Cinnabon cereal probably…i have like 4 of those coupons. lots of pop tart coupons..Any suggestions?
