Thank you for all the work that you do. I always look at your Safeway matchups before I go shopping. I just wanted to let everyone know that there is a $1.00/5 Totinos ecoupon on Shortcuts also and I had a $.50/1 in my GM insert from 8/8. Also there is a $.55/1 Sargento cheese in the Safeway MDA coupon booklet.

There are Hostess coupons on safeway.com, I attached one $1/1 to my card and I also printed one from another computer – this means free for me, my in-ad price is $1.99 each.
I thought I saw the Skinny Cow icecream novelties included in the buy $12 get $4 frozen products deal – I still have some $1/1 coupons from a while back from their website and from their facebook page.

I posted this last night to ast weeks Safeway deal but since that ad is over I thought i should post here for some help……My cashier at Safeway said they only take 2 internet printed coupons for items per PERSON. First she said per transaction but then corrected herself and said per person.
I was purchasing 4 Nut Clusters and had 4 printed internet coupons. I don’t see in their policy that you can not do this. The coupons did not state “one per household”. Will someone please let me know their thoughts? I wanted to be doing this the correct/honest way.

Same thing happened to me. I don’t know if it was right, but that is what happened. I had four of the nut clusters coupons and she said she could only take 1, but would take 2 since I didn’t know. That was about 3 months ago.

I contacted the corporate office for Safeway today. She said there is no reason for Safeway not to accept my internet printed coupons as long as I am purchasing a product per coupon. Guess we will see what happens next time I have multiple internet coupons for the same product.

YOU HAVE TO CALL CORPORATE!!! The corporate number should be on the bottom of the receipt (at least in CA). I was told only 1 printable by an EXTREMLY rude cashier. I called to report her attitude & let them know that the cashiers are NOT following the coupon policy even though I had a printed policy in hand that I showed her. It’s the best thing I could have done! They called the store manager who thought it was 2 printables & informed her there is NO COUPON LIMIT. The manager posted there is NO COUPON LIMIT at all of the terminals to make sure each employee understands & follows policy. The corporate office not only imformed the store where I had a problem , but every store in the district! I’ve been back a couple of times since & have had NO problems. The corporate office girl gave me her name and her personal hours, & has a case number to link to anytime I need to call so they can keep track of the stores that are NOT following policy!
CALL, CALL, CALL!!! It’s so worth the time! I’ve had a great outcome!

I had a problem at safeway yesterday, also. They wouldn’t take any of my ip’s from smartsource. The rude checker told me that they are not valid because they were lacking a third barcode that would prove them to be authentic. Went back later that night to do a transaction I had forgotten, had bad customer service again! The Keizer, Oregon Safeway is full of rude checkers! But nice customers! I met a fellow KCL and she even gifted me her albertson’s doublers!

I just got back from buying items toward the spend $25 get $10 toward a gift card and it did work with all my coupons. Just make sure you’re getting things that are advertised for the promo. A few of mine weren’t so I just didn’t bother getting them. Also, the Charmin bath tissue that is on sale for 6.99 did work with the e-coupon to save another $3.

Herbal Essence wasn’t marked as part of the buy $25 get $10 Gift Card Q at my Safeway so I didn’t try the deal. Already think they have my picture posted at customer service so didn’t want to make waves over shampoo that I was just going to stockpile or donate. Another deal will probably turn up anyway.

I work at safeway, and the only reason we would not be able to take all 4 IP’s is if the items were BOGO. Safeway’s coupon policy states that we do not take coupons for the free items on a BOGO sale. So if those nut clusters were buy one get one free, we would only be able to take one coupon per every two…

And there isn’t a limit to the coupons you can use, but we are required to not allow them to double after 3 of the same coupons in a transaction…and if an IP does not scan we are not suppose to punch in the numbers, we have to refuse the coupon. The reason why some stores are so weird about IP’s is because I know my store alone has had a few fake ones and the manufactures will not pay the store for a fake coupon. But you can always go to the customer service desk and ask for the coupon policy, and they are required to give you one…

Can you explain doubling please. I tried to use 2 of the same Safeway coupons that I clipped from sales ads. On the coupon it did say there was a limit of 3 and it did say DO NOT DOUBLE. I was trying to buy a total of 6 of those exact items with two coupons and the cashier said ” No, the coupon here says DO NOT DOUBLE” so I couldn’t use my second coupon. I thought when it says no doubling, that the store wouldn’t double the VALUE of the coupon, and unless the coupon said only one coupon per transaction/person you could use more than one coupon to purchase multiple items….
…aargghhh this gets so confusing sometimes. I hope this makes sense to somebody and you can help. No one at my local Safeway understands couponing either. TIA

just to let you know, i had a problem with the nabisco catalina when i used it last week. i bought 5 100 cal packs and only got a $1 catalina. i called the catalina people (like KCL recommends) and they sent me the other $2, but it was still a hassle

SARGENTO CHEESE there is also a coupon in the 7/25 ss or 8/8 ss (sorry can’t remember which) for .50/1 cheese snacks that worked for the sliced cheese at my local Safeway $1 cheese is pretty good!
