They are also .89 as advertised in this weeks Rite-Aid, but either way it’s free.

Rite-Aid actually PAID ME $0.11 to buy it. Can’t beat that, especially when I bought three Gain and got a candy bar for free!!

Where can I buy the Gain coupon? It says “or you can buy it here” but I click the wording and the link doesn’t work!!!

My local Walmart stinks! I went there today and it was marked 97 cents; however, they wouldn’t take the coupon and told me I had to buy a bigger one and then they’d take the $1 off. They’re getting really bad at our local Walmart and that’s why I rarely shop there. I find better deals going to Rite Aid and Target. The actual only reason I did go there was because I wanted the All You magazine with coupons, and Walmart is the only store I can find it at locally.

Nancy, a Walmart supervisor in Bellingham, MA, once explained to me that the cashier needed to adjust down such coupon value to match the price. From then on, before the cashier starts scanning my items, I now inform him/her which coupons need to be adjusted to what price. Hope this helps.

I usually wrote a specific feedback at a store’s website whenever their local store stinks at the supervisor level (hoping that the “stink” will go away :D ..)

.97 in Southern Oregon…. love free stuff… Nancy i feel your pain with Walmart.. I rarely shop there anymore myself and say a little prayer before picking a cashier cause most just dont get coupons. The gain coupon should not have been regional just the price to clear things up for some… it was in the P&G insert in yesterdays paper, which in my experience is in most papers and the insert doesnt vary by region.

I went to our Local Walmart and it was $1.97!!! I don’t know if I should as for a price check or not…….but just the same I can take my rite aid add and they will price match it.

I just got back from my local Walmart and I had 5 $1 off Gain coupons but the cashier said I could only use one per purchase. I tried to explain what that meant and she still refused to accept them. But after I told her I could just seperate the transactions, she finally said she would do it just this once. But as I walked out of the store I noticed the coupons didn’t come off. So then I went to customer service to get it taken care of… It was a nightmare! They told me the same thing the cashier did and wouldn’t budge… GRRRRRRRRRR! That was 35 minutes of my life I want back.

You would be surprised how much companies appreciate your feedback because this way they don’t have to send mystery shopper, which I am one, to their stores. Recently, a “beauty advisor” was extremely rude and basically abused what little authority she had to “screw” with me about the quantity of items I could get at a Walgreens.

I called customer service from the store and explained the problem. She was shocked that I called customer service and also gave the customer care person a hard time. Recently I went to another store and she was transferred to that store and if looks could kill, she would have killed me a thousands times over.
I didn’t mean to cause harm to anyone but her behavior was embarrassing and demeaning to me so I took steps that I know would make a difference for me and for other coupon shoppers in the future.
