I’ve found a blinkie by the Scrubbing bubbles for $2/2 any scrubbing bubbles – exp. 9/27, and I found bright orange peelies for $2/2 any scrubbing bubbles on the bathroom foamer (expiration is 2011) – which was also marked as participaing item in this catalina, price was same as the aerosols 2/$5 or $2.50 each

I don’t usually shop Safeway, but I’m almost out of Soft Scrub and Febreze Air Effects (hope the Windex Vinegar/earth friendly variety is included too). I’ve been hoping for a deal before I ran out LOL. I guess this may not be stockpiling prices, but still good enough to replenish until next time Thanks Heather!

I am wondering if anyone has had success with the CAT printing and having their after coupon total be below $15. My safeway can be kind of stingy about this and the CAT that printed last for me announcing this promo said “purchases exclude safeway coupons, card loaded coupons, manufacturers coupons and e-coupons.” Just wondering if that is really the case. If anyone has tried it and had success please let me know.

Jennifer, no the cat didn’t print. I bought $15 of windex, mr. clean, and pinesol, but my total after coupons was $7.50. My Safeway was nice enough to give me the $5.00, but I think that many safeway stores wouldn’t do this.
The Bertoli sauce cat did print. This was a good way to use the ecoupons and paper coupons I had for the Bertoli. I paid about $5, for 4 jars and got a $3.75 catalina, so about $1.25 for all 4 jars!!

I bought 2 clorox wipes, 2 windex, and 2 mr clean mop liquid and my total was $8.00. The cat printed for me!

It did work for me-got 4 scrubbling bubbles-the spray can type-plus used the blinkie coupon $2/2 and got 2 spray clorox-had a coupon for those also-so my total was was under after coupons.
ALSO-a GREAT unexpected bonus-got two $2 catalinas for the 4 scrubbing bubbles I bought! I figure if you buy all scrubbing bubbles-6 would give you $15-they will be free!

I just saw the ad in today’s paper and the fine print states ‘purchase excludes store coupons, card loaded coupons, MQs, eQs, sales tax…
I tried it Friday night and it didn’t work for the items I bought:
2 – Scrubbing Bubbles ($2/2 MQ)
2 – Febreeze Air Effects ($1/1 MQs)
2 – Mr. Clean (BOGO & .75/1 MQ)
Paid $7.75 OOP with no CAT. Not sure if it was the printer or not though. I might try again today and see what happens. Will probably return it all if I don’t get the CAT.

And there was a $1/1 eQ that came off for the Febreeze, which may have affected my total since it shows at the top with the products. Not sure what the deal is…

on sale 2 for $5.00. buy 10 of them for $25 and use 5 of the $2 off 2 blinkie coupons this way you spend $15 on them after coupons and can get the $5 cat. The bonus is that It also gives you 5 additional $2 cats . so you spend $15 dollars after coupons and it gives you $15 dollars in cats!!!! Free. I have done this twice once on friday and once on saturday. I just had to share.

I did it today-just got 4-then I bought two Clorox and still got two scrubbling bubbles catalina plus the $5/$15 one. Next time I figure if I get 6 they will be completely free!

I was just at safeway and the mr clean pourable was marked 2/$5 but did not say it is part of the $5 off $15. Can anyone confirm that it is part of the promotion?

the refills are part of the catalina and the sprays are not. i called the catalina company yesterday because i did not get my coupon for the $5. they confirmed the product excluded from the catalina offer is the sprays.

After reading all of this I am thinking maybe it is the BOGO on the cleaning products that is messing up getting the $5 catalina-it probably is the one that isn’t included in the total.

I just gave a bunch of Scrubbing Bubbles away. I guess I’ll do it again! Also, look out for the newest Safeway coupon book ($16 Savings). They just put them out this past week at my NoCal store. There’s a $2/2 Scrubbing Bubbles Q in it. This way you don’t have to look for peelies. I haven’t been able to find them anyway, so this booklet is right on time!!

My question EXACTLY! I purchased $15 of scrubbling bubbles and $15 of clorox wipes in a single transaction expecting to get 2 $5 cats (among other things), but got only 1! The manager didn’t help us out at all. Is there some sort of policy for how many catalinas you can get per transacation?

No, they will not print two Catalina’s. You have to purchase them in seperate $15 transactions.

i did 6 scrub bubs last week…got 3 $2 cats & 1 $5 cat. does anyone know if the febreze home collection luminary is included in this deal? there’s a pg esaver for $5 or $4(?) & a print pg coupon for $4…a $5 cat on this would make this $15 item abt $1.
