Update: Unfortunately this offer was not valid.  If you signed up for this fake offer please follow these instructions to avoid this spammer from having access to your profile page!

  1. Go to your Facebook profile page.
  2. Go to “Account”Go to “Application Settings”
  3. Scroll down, and find “Pringles Extreme” – look to the right, and click on the “x” to delete that connection.
  4. Hit “OK” to confirm.

Thanks Centsable Shoppin for these instructions.

Also, I wanted to assure everyone that Joanie and I take every precaution when posting deals. I signed up for this offer myself and thought that it was legit. This is one of the reasons you don’t see a lot of “free sample/freebie” posts on KCL. Again, I am SO sorry for leading you guys astray! Forgive me, won’t you!? :)

2 days ago I received my coupon in the mail for a free can of pringles

  2. Micky says:

Has anyone contacted Pringles to find out the truth ‘from the horse’s mouth’ so to speak? The application looked legit to me, there is a Pringles product with this name, and the fact that the offer is not advertised on Pringles website does not necessarily mean that it’s a fake. I hope that the offer is genuine, and that Pringles will confirm this. :-)

  3. Tiffany says:

Hey thanks for posting this for everyone. There’s another website out there who simply removed the offer, yet did not tell its thousands of readers how to stop the person from stealing their info! They are still refusing to post help! How rude!

  4. Tara says:

Wih the Kashi sample it keeps telling me there was an error…..but all my information is correct….

  5. Joanna Ruth says:

Yeah, looks like it is total spam, and has the ability to swipe all your personal info. Here’s how to remove it from your Facebook account:

So a bunch of people are saying that this is a false application & not actually from pringles. It did look legit, but if you check the official website, there is no FB promotion & no link from the Pringles FB page to this app, so I think that it may be correct – it’s a scam. Either way, still not working & I’m not going to try anymore!

  7. Joni says:

Are you sure the Pringles one is on the up and up? Another blog stated they thought it was a fraud because it’s not a company facebook page and it’s not mentioned on their website.

  8. Amber H says:

I am getting the same thing right now. I would imagine that they just might be overwhelmed with requests at the moment. I’m going to try again in an hour or so. Hopefully it will go through.

  9. Sherece says:

That is what I got too – Does this mean they are out of samples?

  10. Teri says:

After I enter all my info, I get “Cannot connect to database server”. Anyone else?
