Be the HIT of your neighborhood when you hand out FULL SIZE candy bars this Halloween! Heather passed out full size Reeses last year, so now she’s set the bar for this year! Hope your CVS will let you separate your transactions so you can stock up!

Individual bars are ringing up as $.50 so the BOGO coupon just comes off as a $.50 savings. So I got 6 full size candy bars for $2.00 or $.33 ea instead of the usual $.89.

And the $1/3 is fun size bags, which they have 2/$5 and if you buy $10 you get $3 ECB. So if you buy 4/$10 with $1/3 and $3 ECB you get the candy for $1.50 each instead of the usual $3.99.

My CVS didn’t do the free deal. The candy rang up at $0.50 each (third one was not free) and I used the BOGO free coupons, so it reduced to $0.25 each. I didn’t get the $1 off 3 here in Maryland, so I couldn’t try that this time. Still a decent deal…

If I have 2 of the BOGO coupons, what is the best way for me to do that deal? This gets confusing to me cuz the coupon is Bogo, while the store sale is buy 2 get 1. Thanks for anyone who can figure that out.

My grocery store manaager tells me to think of BOGO’s, really as price reductions and not a “free” item. It helps me in figuring these out. So divide the cost of 2 bars over the three items since it is B2G1 free. Then use your 2 bogo coupons against two of the three original bars.

Ex. 1 Candy bar =.89 cents, since you have to buy 2 for the deal the cost would be $1.79 total/3 bars = .60 per bar + add your two free bars with the coupon. Total bars purchased 5 = $1.79 total cost per bar = .60 cents

hope this helps!

oops meant .36 per bar

Does limit 9 mean 9 candy bars, or 9 transactions? Thanks!

Christle, Can I ask what area of the country you are in? Just wondering why I did not get them. I did get the $1/3 coupon though.

I don’t think it was necessarily regional. We have 2 papers in our town, and one had it (Dallas morning News) and the other more local one did not. I know my mother in law from Seattle got it too though.

I have my 2 BOGO coupons and will be getting the candy on Sunday. Thanks for the tip!

No BOGO here in my RP in Nor.Cal.

No BOGO coupon in my RP

same here. i have the $1/3 bags.

I found a blinkie for BOGO Milkyways! Score!

Where did you find the blinkie?

I also found the blinkie today. It was right in front of the candy bars at CVS!

Yes, it does, I just read mine…it is for bags or fun sized bars….small packages of fun sized bars that go on sale for a buck might be able to be used….. but not the candy bars….o-man…..thats ok….

Doesn’t the $1/3 say “fun size bags?”
