Philadelphia cream cheese is pretty cheap this week at Target and not bad at Walmart either.

Target

Philadelphia Brick Cream Cheese 8 oz $1.19
Use $0.50/2 – Philadelphia Cream Cheese, 8oz to 16oz, target coupon – (target.com)
And use $1.00/2 – Philadelphia Cream Cheese – (kraftfoods.com)
Final Price: $0.44

Walmart

Philadelphia Brick Cream Cheese 8 oz $1.16
Use $1.00/2 – Philadelphia Cream Cheese – (kraftfoods.com)
Final Price: $0.66

My Wal-Mart store manager didn’t know much about the coupon policy so I asked the cashier manager and this is how she explained it to me.
Use the sales sheet to do price match on an item first then before the item is rung up at that price match show the competitor store coupon so cashier can adjust the price of the item down by the amount of the coupon and it is rang at that price.
After all items in the entire order are rung up give the manufacture coupons. It all made sense to me after she explained it. Get to know which cashiers know the policy correctly and then go to those cashiers if at all possible. Those same cashiers will often tell which other cashiers are good at the coupon policy. It works for me.
    Hope this helps!

Don’t all walmarts take competitor coupons and/or price match? So would the price essentially be the same?

My Walmart will only take one coupon per item. They will either take the Target coupon or the manufacturer coupon but not both. They will let you price match items from Target’s ad & then used a manufacturer coupon.
