Great blog you have here. Lots of blogs like yours cover subjects that aren’t found in magazines. I don’t know how we got on 12 years ago with just print media.

so irritated i didnt get these in my newspaper, and the only ones i got as inserts in 1/2 where smartsource i even went and bought a few more papers now i have like 12 smartsource, one red plum and nothing else! eep!

I got a heck of a deal at Walmart tonight using the B1G1 Herbal Essences coupons (hubby went to the local newspaper office and had to ask for the P & G coupon inserts this afternoon).

Walmart had the Herbal Essences gift sets which includes a large shampoo, conditioner, small body spray and hair gel along with a coupon for a 1 year subscription to Allure magazine on clearance for $5 each. The B1G1 coupons made these great gift sets only $2.50 each! I bought 4 since i had two coupons.

They didn’t have any of the Gillette men’s gift sets at Walmart or Target, and Walgreens, the Scrooges, always send back all of their unsold holiday and gift sets instead of marking them down around here. All except the real cheapo Walgreens brand junk.

    • Roseanne says:

DeeDee, I also bought the gift sets you mentioned..if you go online to do your magazine subscription read all the way through & you can have the option of getting a $10.00 rebate instead of taking the magazine subscription!!

Unfortunately, being out of town for the holiday in Las Vegas, I totally missed this insert! The local Vegas paper didn’t have it! :(

  5. DeeDee says:

Well dang! There were no coupon inserts of any kind Sunday 12/26 in my local paper in Iowa. Shoot!

  6. Tyffany says:

The Gillette deodorant is a MM at Rite-Aid this week.

    Buy 2/$8, use 1- B1G1 free 12/26 P&G, use 1- $2/1 gillette deodorant 11/28 P&G, pay $2, get back $3 in +UP Rewards. =)

I love the layout of this post! Hope to see more like it!

    • Joanie says:

Thanks for the feedback. I thought it would be good to try something different, plus it helps those who only have access to the most recent inserts.

  8. Maran says:

I just bought the Gillette gift set at Wal Mart. They were kind of hidden at the bottom of an end cap in the shaving section, so it pays to hunt around a little. Great deal! Thanks for sharing!

  9. Sheralyn says:

The CVS deal is even better if you purchase 4 Pantene.
Use (2) BOGO Pantene coupons from PG 11/28 and
    (1) $3/2 from PG 12/26

    Subtotal: $13.96
(My store deducted $4.99 for each BOGO coupon. YMMV)

    Pay $0.98 plus tax, receive $2 ECB = $1.02 money-maker!!!

Don’t forget about Kroger this week! 4 item mega event on P&G items=big savings! And my store doubles up to and including $1, which means free HE products, toothbrushes, and toothpaste!

    • Kathryn says:

My Kroger only doubles up to 50cents BUT I still made money
      Bought
2 Old Spice Deodorant (sale price $2.29)
1 Secret Deodorant (sale price $2.29)
1 Old Spice Body Wash (sale price $3.50)

Used (from P&G coupon insert at end of December)
$0.50/1 Secret deo (doubled to $1 off at my store)
      $1/2 Old Spice deo
Buy 1 Old Spice deo get 1 Old Spice body wash

I happened to have an ecoupon loaded on my card I had forgot about that went through too: $1/2 Old Spice deodorants

Got $4 off order (buy 4 participating P&G products, get $4 off order)

      Sale price before coupons: $10.37
      Minus Promo total $4
      Minus coupon total $5.50
      OOP: $0.87
but with the ecoupon, I think I made 13 cents.

Technically, I could have used another Buy 1 deo, get 1 body wash free coupon, but I’m gonna save that so I can do the deal again. Otherwise I won’t have 4 P&G items.
Hope someone else can see this and take advantage of it too, if your family doesn’t need it, I’m sure someone does!

      • Kathryn Webb says:

Oops, looks like Kroger has changed their policy and now doesn’t combine digital with paper anymore, according to their rules. But what about if you forget those things are on your card and they go through anyway while you’re using paper coupons? It did when I bought this P&G stuff, but I wasn’t trying to be dishonest about it! I guess they haven’t changed their computers yet to reflect the new rules.

Is this a good price for the old spice? That is my husband’s favorite deodorant.

  12. Jaimi says:

This old spice deal gets even better at Rite Aid this week –
Buy 2 Old Spice RedZone Deodorant 2.8-4 oz $4.00
Buy 2 Old Spice High Endurance Body Wash $4.00 – Free after Q
Use 2 Free- Old Spice High Endurance Body Wash when you buy Old Spice Deodorant PG 12/26
And Use $1.00/2 Old Spice Deodorant 11/28 or 12/26
    Subtotal = $7
    Receive 2 $3 +UPs
Final Price: $.25 each when you buy all 4 items

Thank you so much for posting these! I got my favorite Aussie 3 minute miracle deep conditioner at Walgreens, and treated my husband to be to a double pack of his Old Spice deodorant and the two free body washes. He liked it so much he went out looking for the Gillette deals with coupons himself today!
