You can watch video from the show online:

Segment 2 “Extreme Savings Secrets”
- Organize your coupons! If you have NO time, get a file box and organize by date. If you want to create a coupon binder like the one you saw Joanie Demer use, download the 36 coupon-binder categories for free.
- Stack-up the savings. Now that you’ve got your coupons, don’t use them just cause you have them and DON’T buy something your family won’t use! Wait until the products you use are on sale (at least 75% off retail and stock-up)!
- Stockpile! Now, I’m not saying you need a stockpile like mine or anyone else’s on the show, but every successful coupon-shopper MUST stockpile to some extent! Read more about stockpiling here.
- Pay it forward! When you begin saving loads of cash, it allows you to give back to your family, neighborhood and community! #1 goal of couponing is to become financially independent. #2 goal is to give back! Get creative with giving back: watch me donate 300 lbs of food to my food bank or watch KCL co-founder, Heather donate toys to a woman’s shelter.

Biggest savings trip yet…

I have been at this couponing thing for a little under a month now. Prior to this, I would shop for items I wanted regardless of them being on sale and never with coupons. This shopping trip included not only coupon items but items that I needed, but were on sale. I made my shopping list, then matched them to the sales at the various stores, then stacked them with ecoupons, catalinas, and manufacturing coupons.
After traveling to Stater Bros, Vons, Ralphs, and Albertsons. I purchased the following:
12 Healthy Choice entrees
7 Campbells Select Harvest soups
4 Arizona Tea
4 lbs of Apples
3 lbs of bananas
1 Lemon Pepper spice
2 bags of frozen tater tots
7 Birdseye steamfresh frozen vegetables
10 yoplait yogurts
1 sliced Kraft cheddar cheese packs
12 packages of pasta (various)
1 box Brown cage free eggs (18 count)
1 tub I cant believe its not butter
2 bottles of Ragu
6 Langers Juice
1 package Charmin Jumbo Roll (33 count)
2 boxes Jollytime Popcorn
2 boxes Toaster Strudel
1 box Eggo Waffle
1 box Graham crackers
1 package Bounty Rolls (22 count)
14 boxes of cereal
2 boxes of Pringles
2 bags of Goldfish crackers
1 loaf of bread
8 boxes Rice a Roni
2 Tropicana Orange Juice
2 tubs of Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter
4 Bottles of Olive Oil
1 box Velveta
2 packages of Chocolate minis
1 package of Huggies Wipes (1000 count)
That is 126 items, many of which I will now be able to take off of my list for months to come. I usually spend $450 a month on grocerries and now short of buying occassional produce and meat, I am done for a few months!
Total Retail $429.77
Total OOP $215.12 (savings $214.65) and $1.71 per item! This is 50% savings…
Not as much as I have seen on this site, but a lot for my household!
Thank you for all your inspiration, I will continue to save more and more.
