(Meijer) .38 cent Activia Dessert yogurt!
Posted in: Other // Comments (7)
This deal was a steal at just around 9 or 10 cents per serving! My local stores have all had their yogurt on sale for a couple months now and I had been saving up coupons for it left and right, waiting for just the right moment. The other night I went on my Meijer store’s coupon website and there it was, my .50 off each Activia Dessert yogurt coupon and unlimited prints! Since my stores never double this is as good as it could get. I printed off 31-.50 coupons and took my 31-$1 off Activia dessert coupons (exp 2/27) and headed to Meijer with empty grocery sacks and boy was I excited! My family can eat truckloads of the stuff.
I asked an employee that was right there stocking the shelf if he could grab me 31 packs of assorted yogurt from the back so I did not clear them out of what he had just so carefully stocked and he came out with boxes full, so off to the register I went with my 31 yogurt 4 packs!
The cashier was a doll, she could not have been sweeter and she was excited for me! We chatted as she scanned and talked about how most cashiers do not even know how coupons work. She said a lot of them think that people who use coupons are stealing from the store and they don’t know that the store actually gets that money back, she hears lots of talk over it at break time. We both agreed that stores should educate their cashiers about how coupons work, maybe less of them would have such terrible attitudes about them!
So I walked out with my head held high, thankful that I had cleared/cleaned out my refrigerator before I left LOL. I froze 10 of the 4 packs, yes I know it kills those lovely yogurt cultures but the kids love them as a frozen treat and so do I plus the chest freezer had tons of room and the fridge not so much thanks to pudding…will have to share my pudding deal soon!
We are enjoying the yogurt very much and so is my wallet. Sorry the photo does not include all, I had already put some in the fridge and was too lazy/tired to get back out lol.
Total Meijer coupons: $15.50
Total non-coupon savings: $18.91
Total manufacturer coupons: $31.00
Savings Total: $65.41

Here was a list of all the stuff that I got from CVS on my 2/27 shopping trip. I came out of it making $1.43!!
2 cans of pringles = 2 for 3 dollars and used $1 coupon from P&G booklet that I received in the mail
2 cans of Chef Boyardee = B1G1 and used 1 free can from the walmart promition a while ago
1 bag Hersheys drops candy = on sale for 2.50 and used $2 coupon that printed from the cvs coupon machine last week
1 Rivatens = 5.99 and get 5.99 in ECB
(2) Crest 3D White toothpaste = 3.29 each and used $1 off crest toothpaste from P&G booklet that I received in the mail and $1 crest toothpaste in the 2/27 P & G coupon booklet. Receive 3.29 each in ECB.
1 Oral B power toothbrush = 6 and used $3 coupon in 2/27 P&G coupon insert and received $3 in ECB
I also used $3 off a $15 purchase that printed on the end of my receipt from my last purchase. My total was $14.14. I used $7.58 in ECB from a previous purchase so my OOP was 6.56 and I received 15.57 in ECB bucks. So all in all they paid me $1.43 to take their stuff!

This week’s sale on snacks + monthly UP rewards = Free Snacks! I tested it out on 1 bag of combos and 1 can of Lay’s.
Then I went KrAzY:
Bought 9 bags of combos on sale for $1 – $9
Used $9 in UP rewards
Total price = free
Not even any tax to pay!
And I got all my UP’s back to use later!
Hope the store near you still has some left! Lay’s Stax and combos definitely worked in central NY!Also heard it is working on Burger King snacks and TGIFriday snacks but I didn’t try those out.
a beginner figuring it out :)

Im a beginner at this coupon thing…and am slowly getting the hang of it. I went to Wags and picked up 6 vicks sinex, 6 puffs, 1 gillette proglide (thought I was gunna get a RR..but that deal was last week, picked it up anyways..still good deal), 2 schick razor, 2 carefree panty liners, 6 gillette body wash, 6 gillette deodorant.
Over all my bill was $143.00 and my oop was $27.00. Thats like buying for 5 of the vics sinex on sale with no coupons and the rest was free
