Most of this was bought at target, got the Axe from CVS and the Veet and Orbit from Walmart. I had savings of almost $90 total and spent $40 (but $6 was for pediasure not pictured as it was with only $1.50 coupon and a necessity). If I would not have purchased the pediasure from Walmart they would have owed me money when I left
CVS was ok, they gave me some money coupons back although the printer in the store was out of paper and no one could figure out how to load it. Will try that next time. Target was wonderful and the cashier was great. Went late at night when it was quiet and they were not busy. Broke my order in to 2 because I got the $5 gift card from the first and used it towards the medicine on the second. Only paid Out of pocket $3.00 for all 2 medicines and 1 vitamin. Had a blast and am hooked!

I have had 3 catalina coupons for $3/1 on this deodorant sitting in my coupon file…today, i was buying something totally unrelated, and remembered that my son needed deod, so i went over and decided to try the coupon out (honestly, i didnt think it would work) bc it was on sale for 3/$10 (3.34/1)…so i know all the cashiers bc i work there (hehe, extra savings with MY rewards card) and i go to one of the few that are familiar with my coupon habits and yes, i paid $0.34 for it. subsequently, bought the other two, so he has deodorant for months now ![]()

Went to Walgreen’s today with the intention of getting just two free tweezers using the dollar off coupons in the April 2011 Walgreens booklet along with the Two dollars off Revlon tools from Target.com and when I did the register printed out two more cash register tapes, each for two more dollars off, so I did this two more times and got four more Walgreens coupons to go along with the CRT’s….so I got 6 free tweezers, 14 snickers Easter egg candies with coupons. Total out of pocket was .56!!
Spent fiftey one dollars on meat and other things at HEB yesterday and forgot my coupon for a free 12 oz pkg of sockeye salmon frozen fillets, so took my receipt back today and got it free. The Salmon is on sale for $8.98…but free for me with the HEB coupon!
Went to Randall’s(Safeway….I live in Houston so it’s Randall’s here!) and got two Chobin Greek Yogurts for .10 each. The coupon is for thirty cents off and they triple it. The yogurt is on sale for a dollar, regular $1.29, so I bought one in my transaction, and my sweetie bought the other one along with toilet paper and paper towels on sale(both) and with coupons. Net out of pocket…just over twelve dollars for the case of Cottonelle (had fiftey cents off that was doubled) and Case of brawny paper towels(also .50 off doubled).
Walmart….was going there for something else and turned in my two FRIGO STRING CHEESE coupons and got two free singles of string cheese and they paid me .14 to take them!
All of these stores are in my “Path” so we just knocked them all out! I’m loving this and get such a rush from it!
TOTALLY FREE!!!!

So in my small town there is only a local grocer (only takes paper manufacturer coupons… no printables.. no doubles… needless to say I dont shop there) and a Family Dollar… I travel anywhere from 30 to 45 miles away because of this just to shop at a Kroger, Safeway, Target, Wal-Mart, or Walgreens… but I wanted to prove that you can save money at the dollar store. I have heard many people say its really hard too… I paid $11 for all of this and saved $19 so about 65% which is def. not my best but I proved you can save at Family Dollar…
