My local Walgreens has this size of Cap’N Crunch but was selling them at the full $1.00 price. I used my coupon and got 2 for $1.00 which is a fairly good deal. They are also selling the full sized boxes for $1.99.

A tip for the picky eaters… I regularly buy the more healthy cereals and then mix them with more sugary ones like trix, fruit loops, etc. I have 5 children and all of them love having the “mixed up cereal”

i bought a box of the Treasures (low fat/sugar) at $1 a few months ago….ugh! HORRIBLE cereal–i tossed out the bowl after 2 bites, and my boys wouldn’t eat. AND the shape (like gears?) is even more aggravating and mouth-ripping-up than the other CC flavors!

Most Walgreens will adjust the coupon down to match the value of the item, so if you have a $0.50/1 coupon, you would need 1 coupon per item. Does this answer your questions?

Anyone have Quaker cereal coupon or playtex 2.50/1 tampons? Email me

Does anyone have quaker cereal 1/2 coupon or 2.50/1 playtex tampons? I did not get any in paper. Email is

I have the same question as someone else. I have the 50 cents off one box coupon. Can I get one or two boxes for free?

  8. karen says:

I got 4 boxes for free at CVS they scanned for .83 cents and my coupon said 1.00 of any box of capn crunch…etc. There was no limit on the number of boxes or size. I think they were part of the 12 item for $10.00 deal this week.

When I stopped at my Walgreens, they didn’t have them where the other cereal boxes were. They actually had them near the photo center (strange, I know). But they are smaller boxes for $1.00. I picked up 2 last week thinking I was getting a good deal, now I wish I had waited. :o(

I also saw these on sale for a dollar at CVS.

  11. Kelly says:

Our Walgreen in W. MI doesn’t have any of the dollar boxes. I am wondering if it is because it’s a smaller one?

Where do I find these coupons?

In the original post it says: “$1.00/2 Quaker Capn Crunch Cereal, any box from RP 4/17″. This coupon is in the Red Plum Sunday newspaper insert that came on April 17th (RP 4/17).

  13. Erica says:

I am wondering the same thing. The coupon in my insert was $.50/1, would that work the way yours did?

  14. Cynthia says:

Just curious how you can get 4 for free when Walgreens policy will not allow for overage. so they would make the coupon .50/2 instead of 1.00/2

“In the event that any item’s selling price is less than the value of the coupon, Walgreens will only accept the coupon in exchange for the selling price of the item. Coupon redemption can never exceed the selling price of an item and no cash back is ever provided in exchange for any coupons.”

    yup! I got mine free!

This cereal is low-sugar. It really does not taste that good. I used my $1.00 off coupon last weekend and have to say that I threw out the cereal. yuck.. Hope you all like it, my family did not…

Hmm… I got a whole bunch from Walgreen when it was on clearance $.25 about 2 months ago. My kids wanted to eat them all the time! We love it!!!
