So, a little while ago I ordered 20 of the B1G1 Pedigree coupons from a clipping service since this is the only food our baby, Hera, can eat due to the fact that she takes medication for epilepsy and the type of food she eats can effect the way the medication is absorbed. ANYWAYS, I heard that Fry’s (our local version of Kroger) had Pedigree+ food on sale for $0.69 each when you bought 10 AND on top of that for every 4 that you bought you got a $1.00 off of your next order. I called ahead of time and asked the manager if I needed to special order 44 cans of the wet food and he said, “Nope, come on down, we have plenty!” So that what me and the hubby did!!!! We got 44 cans of Pedigree+ retailed at around $44 and spent $3.75!!!!! It took a few transactions and addmitedly I subtracted all of the $1.00 off of your next orders left over, but still, YAY!

My 1st Trip Getting PAID to shop

Posted in: The Brag Lounge, Walmart  //  Comments (16)

IMG_4118
I just got back from Walmart and actually got paid to shop!! I was a little hesitate to do the Dial deal, but my hubby reminded if I didn’t at least try to attempt it, I would be kicking myself in the head later on (I’m so glad he pushed me). Anyways the trial size Dial Body Wash was all gone, but I spotted these Men’s Dial lotions for the same price (going on vacation soon so these will come in handy for my hubby and sons)! I didn’t receive any negative attitudes or looks, and no hassle from my cashier :) Positive Walmart experience today :)

Bought 18 trial size Dial lotions $0.97

Used 18 $2/1 Dial body wash or lotion (exp. 6/30) $17.46 +tax

Bought 1 Gain Laundry Detergent (I really needed this) $14.97 +tax

Got Paid $0.08

* (I wonder if I would not have bought the detergent if they would have given me cash back or WM gift card)?

Albertsons: Twice the Value Coupon Distribution Changes

Posted in: Albertsons  //  Comments (190)

Albertsons will be making some changes on how they distribute their Twice the Value Coupons.  Here is an email that our friends at Coupon Connections received from Corporate:

We’re really excited that so many shoppers are enthusiastic about our Twice the Value coupons at certain Albertsons IMW locations, and we’ve seen a significant increase in shoppers who are using them.

Unfortunately, we’ve seen many people taking advantage of this special offer, so we’ve decided to stop providing extra inserts at our store locations. As of July 17th, the only way to have access to the promotional inserts that include our Twice the Value coupons will be to purchase a Sunday newspaper. I want to make it clear that we’re still offering and honoring our Twice the Value coupons, but to limit the number of shoppers who are using more than three in any given shopping trip we will not have extra coupons at our store locations.

Our stores in Montana and Wyoming have a historically low redemption rate of our special Twice the Value coupons, so in these specific markets we’ve decided discontinue offering our special savings inserts in Sunday newspapers as well. Since shoppers in these stores don’t appear to be finding value in these coupons, we’ve decided to use this as an opportunity to try new ways to share savings and value with our customers.

I am sure this is going to make many of you upset.  In fact, when I shop Albertsons Doublers, I get my Twice the Value coupons from my store, so I am also directly effected.   Of course, the coupons will still be in the newspapers and if your are unable to receive a multiple newspaper subscription deal you can still purchase them for $1.00 at selected dollar stores.  I would also suggest getting extras from friends, neighbors or even dumpster diving (if your area allows for this).

The silver lining to this news is that there is probably going to be SUFFICIENT STOCK at most stores after these changes take effect! Wahoo!!!!! ;)

Thanks, Coupon Connections

Got PAID 2.99 at Walmart!

Got ALL THIS at Walmart and got paid $2.99 in overage! Would have been more but the cashier was arguing with me over some coupons (wouldn’t let me use my Skintimate coupon because the coupon said “gel,” but the can said “moisturizing gel”, and also my Dial soap/lotion coupons) and it was so late I didn’t feel like continuing the fight. Plus, I got a 10% employee discount on the pre-coupon price since my fiance is a cashier there!
