I’m bummed. I printed the coupon and I was totally excited to get my Bounty paper towels (I usually go for the cheap brands, and I was excited for the “cadillac” towels). I got off work at 6, pulled in to Staples, and they were closed. The coupon expired today:( Sometimes your the dog, sometimes your the hydrant. Today I was the hydrant. Tomorrow…..Look out:)

  2. I was able to use the Manufacture coupon with the store coupon. I called the store to check if it was possible prior to driving to the store.

  3. Mcq54 says:

My staples had Brawney Paper Towels, an 8 Roll, for $6.99, I used the coupon and bought a clip board, and was still ahead……….

  4. Sara says:

Got it! The cashier let me use 2 so I use one for the bounty towels and one or the arrowhead water for .69 I asked if my bf could use two more and she said yeah so he used one for the water and one for dividers for my binder :)
    Thats in Los Angeles CA

  5. Denor2 says:

The staples in Houston at veterans memorial and 1960 did not honor the $3.00 coupon. Most of the other stores across the country seems to be honoring the coupon. I know people in Dallas, sa etc where the coupon is being honored. Is it not good at all staples?

  6. Sarah says:

I went to a different Staples and they allowed me to use the coupon (since another Staples would not let me use it). They didn’t have the Bounty, but they did have another 8 pack of paper towels that I got for $1.99 and my mom used one and got the Arrowhead water for me for $0.69 + cvc

  7. Marwa says:

If your stores are out of the Bounty like all the ones around me, they also have 24pk Arrowhead water on sale for $3.69. After the coupon it’s ONLY $.69 +CRV. COOL DEAL!!!

  8. guest says:

Got mine at Staples here for $0.99 total with the P&G coupon too. They had plenty paper towels and water bottle packs left. :)

  9. Ray-Ray says:

My staples was all out so I brought 24bottle/case water of for $.99

  10. Gkopeck says:

Good luck finding this anywhere nothing but empty shelves everywhere i went! But i did stock up on some bottled water for .99!!!

  11. April says:

My Staples wouldn’t allow it :( They said that since the Paper Towels are on sale, that is an “Instant Savings” and in the small print on the coupon it says something about that. They would only take $3 off the regular price of $5.99 which is still ok.

  12. Couponmommy44 says:

In AZ they are on sale for $5.99

    • Lori says:

You can get the 8 pack of the “staples brand, sustainable earth” paper towels for the same price..4.99..You get more rolls then the Bounty and more sheets per roll…I like these paper towels…Awesome deal for 1.99 after coupon! :)

  18. Karnisha says:

Went to a different staples today and they allowed me to use the coupon with my manu coupon, so I got the bounty for $1.17. Also, she allowed me to do another transaction since I printed the earlier coupon without the limit per day on it, so I got pencils :-)

The Staples in Garner, NC had to post a sign that only 1 $3 coupon per customer per day was allowed. They told me they had people using several at a time and it became a problem….boo. I did get a pack of Bounty though :)

  21. Renee says:

  31. Smertes says:

  32. karnisha says:

I snagged this deal yesterday! I was so happy, but if we were able to use the $1.00 coupon from P&G this deal would have been even sweeter

  33. Memareid says:

Wish we had a Staples in Dublin, Ga

  34. Dana says:

Used this coupon at my staples today to get the paper towels and the manager ringing me up was laughing saying so many people are using this coupon and it was a mistake that it got leaked out there or something like that.

  35. Bonnie says:

I used the 3.00 off coupon and the 1.00 off coupon from Sundays paper and got it for .99 a pack…took the kids with me and we did 2 seperate transactions each and I got 10 packs!!! Yeah!

    • Amber says:

The coupon says right on it “Limit 1 coupon per customer per day” What you did is a misuse of coupons and really frowned upon. I surely wouldn’t be bragging about it.

      • Anonymous says:

you might be wrong. There were TWO coupons out. the FIRST one had NO restrictions at all. The SECOND had the limit of one per customer per day. They realized their mistake and put up a different coupon, but the original coupon is still a VALID COUPON. I called Staples and confirmed this and they said if I had several of that first coupon I would be able to use them all as long as I did seperate transactions. The sign up in the store saying “sorry only one per customer per day” is refering to the second coupon, just highlighting the fine print. I did 6 transactions with no issues with the manager. SO AMBER maybe you should reserve your judgement until you actually know WHAT COUPON BONNIE HAD. Think SOMEONE is JEALOUSSSSS

        • Cjrodfam says:

I was with my husband when I bought my water and the clerk told me if I wanted to buy two then my husband would be able to make a seperate purchase. So I do not see the problem Amber has if the clerk was the one to make the suggestion. She said it was one per customer and not one per household.

      • Bob says:

You bring up an interesting point. When can kids be or not be customers? I’d have a hard time justifying my 18 month old as an individual customer, but a 16 year old son/daughter could be a customer, right?

        • Anonymous says:

my 4 year old was a customer. let him pick out 2 packs of stickers for $1.50 each….I only do it when my kid is actually getting something for himself

          • Bob says:

That seems reasonable. It seems like if the store was concerned about minors being used as part of the transaction, they would have wording along the lines of “Must be 18 to redeem and limited to one customer per day.”

That being said, my little guy won’t be picking any up, I think he’d chew up the coupon before we got to the cashier, not to mention the site of him (18mo) dragging the bounty up to the register would be slightly ridiculous. :-)

            • Missy says:

My son has been a customer since he was 18 months old. He wanted to be like his older sisters and save money to pay for his own things. He could carry a gallon of milk with no problem. I would tell him it was to heavy for him to carry, he would say no it isn’t, it’s mine and I’m carrying it. When he was 2 yrs, old he started picking up change around the house to put in his piggy bank. He would make his 3 older sisters give him change if they wanted him to get something for them. If his aunt’s, uncle’s, or anybody was at the house he would ask them if he could do things for them when they were there to get change from them to put in his bank. They would ask me if it was ok because he was little and didn’t want him to put it in his mouth . I told them he would put it in his bank which was and gallon water jug because his piggy bank was too small and he would carry the jug to show them how much money he had saved and told them he was saving for a treehouse swing set he had seen at sam’s club when his jug would get full we would take it to the bank and put it in his savings account and everytime we went to the bank he would tell the ladies at the bank he was saving for his tree house. He is the one that started saving the money on his own, and 9 months later, he had enough money to buy his tree house. He insisted, that he had to pay the cashier, because it was his money. So, in conclusion, no one is to SMALL to be a customer.

I must have gotten one of the earlier Staples coupons because mine does not say “one per customer.” Two each for Bonnie and her kids does not seem unreasonable to me, assuming that she has the earlier coupon and her kids aren’t preschoolers.

My daughter is 10, and she occasionally does a transaction by herself, using a coupon if we have one for what she’s buying. I wouldn’t suggest trying to pass off a young child as a “customer” to get around “one per customer” restriction, but I think if children are old enough to make a purchase by themselves, then there is nothing wrong with them using a coupon to do so. I’ve never seen a coupon that states an age restriction.

Sometimes she buys things for herself (like gum — she keeps track of the gum coupons) but other times I’ll have her buy a grocery or household item. Just the other day I sent her into Walgreens with an RR to buy some paper towels, and I let her get a couple bottles of the Sobe Lifewater that is free-after-RR this week. She’s shopped at other stores with coupons too, on occasion, and no cashier has ever had an issue with it. For example, the Bath and Body Works coupons for a free travel-size item that are issued occasionally … I print two (one per computer) and let my daughter use one. No employee at B&BW has ever batted an eye at her getting the free item for herself.

Purchase has to be a minimum of $3. They had the arrowhead water for $3.69. Was 69¢+crv.

    • lucsmom says:

My Staples was out of the paper towels, but the cashier told me about the arrowhead. Took my mom and got 2 packs today and then she told me to come back tomorrow and get some more. :)

I cant find the coupon. Where is it?

    • Acase335 says:

Seriously people – it’s not hard! Click on the link that KCL posted above to get the coupon!!

  40. Kss20002008 says:

Don’t forget, you can use a MQ too…PG Savings Booklet or Mailer. If you get a RP midweek, there’s a $1 off Q in there…think there’s a 25cent one in the PG insert too.

  41. Tiggeroo167 says:

Where is everyone getting the coupon from?

  42. Samantha says:

I still have a $1.00 off Bounty coupon from the P&G mailer a while back, do they stack or would I have to buy something else too?

    • Jpgcoupon says:

Staples does not take Manufacture coupons :(

      • Kat says:

Our Staples accepts manufacturer coupons. It depends on the store.

        JPGCOUPON
this coupon is a Staples Coupon and they take their own coupons

        • SS says:

the coupon states “Minimum purchase requirement of $3 must be met with purchases to which no other coupon or instant savings offer applies”…so should we be using a MQ on any of the purchases and aren’t the paper towels an instant savings item. Just wondering since lots of people seem to be able to use the coupon on this item and with MQ’s.

      • Chic_surfs says:

        They accepted mine?

    • MrsLewis says:

Mine allowed me too :D So got the 6 pk for .99 cents :D

    • Bhuynh2002 says:

They don’t allow you to use another coupon in conjunction with the $3.00 coupon. I had a $1.00 off coupon for the Scotch Magic tape that is on sale for $0.99 and had to use that manufacturer coupon in a separate transaction.

    • Cheesewagon28124 says:

      yes used mine

    • Jennifer says:

it all depends on the staples you go to, call them ahead of time and talk to supervisor or upper manager, and also see if they have the items instock also saves you the trip.

    • My_3_little_monkyes says:

i just came back from staples and yes they took the $1 off coupon too. because one is a store coupon and the other isn’t it cost me $1.15 with the tax you can print the $3 off coupon as many times as you want… but a different person has to go through the check out. its one per day per house hold. my sister went in one line and i in another and saved for our stock pile :) have fun saving!
