CVS has the Garnier on sale right now for 3/$10 so it’s an even better deal.

  2. Angles89 says:

The $5 John Frieda coupon that is for treatment, styler,or finisher…is it good on shampoo and conditioner or just the lift foam & the like? I was told at Rite Aid that I couldn’t use it on shampoo and conditioner (which confused me since I assumed they were a treatment product and I had seen where so many others had used the coupons for shampoo and conditioner), so I didn’t want to try it at CVS unless I was sure it was the right coupon.

hmmm… last time I bought JF ( spend $10 get 3 EB) I didnt get anything it said ” limits reach” that was in June!!

  5. Franco says:

I can confirm that the Lumene ECB deal includes the little 0.5oz Time Freeze / Age Defying Creams and the 10-packs of Sensitive Touch Cleaning Wipes – my lady friends are going to love me on Monday!

  6. Valerie says:

Yes I just went to my CVS and they didn’t have any idea about the JF spend $20 get $10 ECB.

  7. Duroeulx says:

What is the limit for the Lumene? Can I do one each week and still get the ECBs?

  8. Michellesaves10 says:

Do I need to purchase all the JF items at once or do I have the whole month to make my $20 purchase and receive the ECBs??

    • Anonymous says:

The great thing about CVS is they keep track of your purchase through your extracare card. So you don’t need to do it all in one transaction. You can break it up and still receive your EBs once you reach the required total.

  9. lalaland says:

Does anyone know if it could be ANY John Frieda product or does it have to from the “Full Repair” line?

  10. Sillyjess143 says:

Once I reach my limit of 1 on the JF does it reset the following week? Or is it limit one for the month?

    • Anonymous says:

Since it is reported to be a monthly deal….then you can only do it once during the entire promotion.

  11. Korie says:

I haven’t been able to get the JF products at my CVS for a month! I’m fairly certain someone keeps clearing the shelves. Hopefully they have some at the other CVS this evening, but it made my trip this morning impossible since I wanted to roll ECB’s. Luckily my 4-week-old wasn’t hungry when I went shopping. :-p

Also, was the Lumene coupon regional? I didn’t see it in my SS…

  12. lola says:

on the joh frieda sale can you use the 4 off 20 spend that people got on their emails???????

KrazyCouponLady please tell us: how do we find out where the monthly deals are listed? I see it on your blog, but when I go to the store and buy $20 of John Freida and the $10 EB does not print, and then I ask the manager about it he says that he can ONLY give me the EB if it is in the weekly flyer with a promotion number! Please help. WHERE are the monthly deals listed so that I can get it in writing from CVS to show manager??

Yes….where on their website can you find this? I went into my CVS and there was no signage about it and the 2 cashiers that helped me didn’t know anything about it and couldn’t find it anywhere. They were nice enough to print me out a $5 EB manually and I told them I would print out the info and bring it into them so they would have it, but I can’t find it!!!! Help please!

CVS used to put out a monthly booklets that included these monthly EB deals. They no longer do that but they still run month long promotions. The ones I have listed are deals that have been found on shelf tags or receipt tallies. All these deals vary by region. So if it’s not advertised anywhere in your store…on a shelf tag, receipt, or even under “current balances” when you log into your extracare account at cvs.com…then it may not be available to you.

at my CVS there was nothing stated about this promo, is this at ALL CVS’s?? How do can I find out?

  18. You know what, this is crappy. By the time I get to the store and get a raincheck, and come back to get the items, they still wont have it in stock. can you use an expired coupon with a CVS deal? I remember someone mentioning that

    • Karina_v99 says:

I wonder the same thing… I have several rainchecks but I can never find the items when I go back and coupons are about to expire.

    • Anonymous says:

Sadly once the coupon is expired the store no longer has to accept it. Empty shelves are very frustrating. Maybe try talking to a manager about the situation and see if you can work anything out.

  20. Nicole says:

What Lumene product did you buy

  21. Nicole says:

For the Lumene….can you use the $4 off coupons on the Lumene wipes even though they are only 2.99? I know CVS doesn’t give money back but can you use it as overage on other items?

    • Scrappingramma5 says:

Usually when a item at cvs is below the total value of coupon it takes off up to that value of product. So if they are ringing up 2.99: they will only take 3 of the $4 q from you 2.99×4=11.96. I am sure some cashiers can override some scenarios but I believe the way i said it the proper way for CVS. I had a $5 q for hair dye which was on clearance for .75 cents, the register took $3 total off the $5 q for my 4 boxes so they were free. Cashier gave me my other 3 q’s back. No MM for me :(
      but free is good:)

    • couponinginatl says:

No money maker on them, what the cashier did was scan them and see how many the register would accept but basically what I did was use two coupons for every 3 wipes that at my store was ringing up to 2.73 so then that would be 2.73×3 =8.19 so then I used two 4off coupon leaving me to pay only .19cents + tax. In your case they are 2.99 each so you can buy 6 total 17.94 and use 4 of the 4off leaving you with 1.94 and you get 5ecb!! so good money maker!

  22. Kat says:

Jut got back from KMart, they have the Auusie hair care products on Sale for $2.99
each, You can use the coupon in this weeks P&G Save for $3.00 off any Aussie Porducts or Herbal Essences products and get it Free… MoneyMaker here!!

    • Shirleyhuberty says:

The coupon states get $3 off when you buy 1 herbal or aussie styler WHEN YOU purchase ONE herbal or aussie product… Does this mean that you have to buy a styler to get $3 off a aussie or herbal product?

  23. Anonymous says:

You can use 4 pillsbury coupons but you have to access to 2 computers to do so. They will only print out 2 per computer.

  24. couponinginatl says:

I just went to CVS and bought 6 of the Lumene makeup remover wipes. They were ringing up to $2.73 and so I used 4 of the 4off coupons and paid .38 cents + tax and got my 5 ecb :)

    • Jen says:

I’m confused…so even though the deal says you have to buy $20 worth of Lumene, and you bought $16.38 worth ($2.73 x 6), you still got the 5 ECB? I thought you had to have $20 before you would get the ECB. Can someone please clarify this for me? Thanks!

    • Stefanie Hein says:

UGGG!! I bought 12 of them on Saturday. All free, but wow, could have been much better.

  25. Mary Ann says:

I went to my local CVS today and the only ones on this promotion are the Full Repair and Luxurious Volume. The Root Awakening was on sale for $4.99, but not included in the promo. Everything else was full price and also not included in the promo.

    • Amy says:

i went to cvs and got a fullrepair and 3 root awakening products hoping to get the $10 ECB but it did not work, and the manager and cashiers knew nothing about monthly deals. they had no idea what i was talking about.

      • Mary Ann says:

It was clearly marked under the Full Repair and Luxurious Volume products at my local CVS. Strange how it’s so different all over the place.

        • Amy says:

yeah, nothing was marked on the john freida at all. I dont know why the company doesn’t let the managers know of any monthly deals they have, they look at u like ur making it all up LOL

          • Joy says:

Had the same experience at my CVS in Nevada. The manager looked at me like I was smoking crack when I questioned why my J.F. $10 E.B. didn’t print. Oh well.

            • Amy says:

hi Joy, i went back n returned my JF root awakening products i had purchased and explained that i purchased the wrong ones and was able to purchase the correct ones, the full repair line and got my ECBs.

  30. rain check says:

Does anyone know if the John Frieda deal will work with a rain check? I have one from when the shampoo and conditioners were $5 and would like to buy 4 use $2/1 and get the $10 EBs?

    • freddie says:

yes, the rain check will work. the register will prompt the EB to print once you reach $20, even if the price was modified. good luck!

  31. Anne says:

Is something published that shows the monthly deals?

  32. Kelly says:

I can’t find the Lumene coupon….anyone have this one?

  33. Alan_eggleston says:

Yesterday I printed out the $2 off Starburst/Skittles coupon at the CVS coupon kiosk, and today it printed out again. Scored 2 bags for $1! They also have various NyQuil products on sale for 75% off, so I got the package of (40) gel caps for $3.75! And, I got the free Hershey Air Delight bar. So, I got about $18 worth of stuff for $4.75

  34. MeeshaG says:

If its limit 1 on a monthly deal, can you get 1 each week and receive the Extra Bucks or does this mean you can only buy 1 for the whole month to get a ECBs?

    • Kathryn says:

I’ve done the month-long deals once each week and gotten my EBs each time. At least it worked when I did the buy 5 Fuze get $2EB they had all last month.

  39. Cvmgdl says:

How can we know our local cvs store is also running this promotion? My experience with asking the cashiers and managers for help has been horrible they always give the wrong info:-(
