  1. Had to share what I found as the next-best deal at CVS this week. They have frisky’s canned catfood 5.5oz priced 10 for 4.00, which is a great price by itself. They are also part of a spend 20.00 get 5.00 extra cash on various pet products, and if you are lucky enough to get a 4.00 off 20.00 purchase it gets even better.. What i did::

Buy 50 cans @ 40cents each, Use 2 1.00 off 20 cans coupons from 5/1 SS, used 4.00 off $20 purchase and get 5.00 Xtra Cash back.. final price 9.00 = .18cents per can.. cant beat that.

i want to ask about the $10 gas gift card. when i purchase $30 specific items that lists on the weekly ad. will they scan a 10 gas gift card for me when i check out or i have to take the 10 gas gift card and let them scan it for free. Or they will give me the 10 gas gift card like extra buck.

For those who still have the $3 off $15 worth of Baby items:
Got the box of diapers for $20 plus $5 in EBs, used the $3 of $15 coupon plus the $1.50 coupon. paid $10.50 after EBs. I bought size 3 baby dry, ends up being .10 a diaper.
Got my sister to do the same deal but I got an email with a $5 off $25 and gave it to her but she did not use the $1.50 coupon. She also bought the free contact solution, ending up paying only $7 after EBs, ends up costing .07 a diaper.

just wanted to let people know that i bought the pampers swaddlers box (size 2), used the $1.50 coupon and got $5 ECB, plus there was a $30 coupon book inside for P&G products (the coupons are better than what we typically get in the sunday papers). super score! not sure if it’s regional or not (i’m in NC), but just wanted to share.

I bought 6 of the cashews for 2/6 yesterday, great deal!! : )

I was going to buy the cereal too (raisin bran) but the boxes in my store were pretty tiny so it wouldn’t have been a great deal.

    Thanks for everything KCLs!!! xoxo

I just went to cvs and the lady was arguing about a 4.00 coupon I had and the product was 3.99 I said you can adjust the coupon down which she didn’t know you could do so she called the manager over who told her how to do it. Then she tells me “do you get a lot of things for free?” I said “yes” and she says “and it’s all legal?” wow.

I just returned from a CVS shopping trip where I was told I could not use my $1.00 off Revlon cosmetics on a clearance lipstick. Has anyone ever been in this situation. This is the first time I have ever been told this and my first time at this particular CVS.

I’ve got lots of coupons for the Gain detergent deal in this week’s ad. Is it a legitimately good deal? I just started couponing and am still trying to determine what’s a great deal and what isn’t. I’m typically a Tide girl but have used Gain in the past and I really liked it. Thanks.

It’s okay. Not especially great. But if you’re in need of detergent and can’t wait then it’s an okay time to buy.

I was wondering something. Okay, CVS has their Secret Deodorant on sale 2/$5. I also have a coupon for buy 2 Secret Deodorants, get 1 Secret Body spray free. I also have 2 coupons for $1 off 2 Secret Deodorants. Can I use all 3 since I am getting 3 products? Or since the $1 off 2 coupons state that it’s for 2 products, I won’t be able to use them?

You should be able to use one of the $1.00/2 deodorants in combination with the the free body spray. You won’t be able to use a second $1.00/2 because it covers 2 products. You’d have to purchase more deodorants.

Does anyone know if the $1/1 Dove Body Wash from the paper a couple of weeks ago will work on the Dove Visible Care BW? The coupons says “any bodywash”, so I imagine it will…

  26. Can someone explain to me how CVS awards extra care bucks due from a raincheck? I am deaf, so I might have misunderstood the cashier, but I believe he told me the ECBs would have to be awarded in coupon form after the transaction was complete. We both then forgot about it, and I lost some ECBs because of it. What do they do? Do they fill out a card or something afterwards? If I can figure this out before I turn another one in, it would help me be sure I don’t lose any ECBs. Thanks!

We both then forgot about it, and I lost some ECBs because of it. What do they do? Do they fill out a card or something afterwards? If I can figure this out before I turn another one in, it would help me be sure I don’t lose any ECBs. Thanks!

    • Julia Hunter says:

When you use a rain check for an item with extra bucks they should print out after the transaction. The cashier might have to put it through separately, like do one transaction where they ring up the item for the price and take your money and give you the product and then right after that they scan your extra care card again and then print out the extra care bucks. The extra care bucks that come out are the same if they are from a rain check as they are if they are from a regular purchase. Hope this helps!

Hello, I am new to shopping at CVS, and I am not sure that I understand the Lumene deal? The ad says that you must spend $20 ,but you say to purchase 5 items at $3.99 each. That only amounts to $19.95. Will the reward still print?
    Help!

I bought a pack of the wipes with it, they were $2.99 but I didn’t want to chance it over the few cents :)

The beauty of CVS is you don’t have to do it in one transaction, because your card keeps track. So you can try buying the 5 creams and see if you get the ECBs. If you don’t get them, look at the bottom of your receipt and it will tell you how much more you need to spend to get them. Then you can go back and buy another item. HTH!

That was a small oversight on my part. You do have to reach the $20 before coupons so I’ve added a $2.99 wipes! That should make it work perfectly!

Is anyone having trouble with the online garnier fructis coupons? I cannot get any of the three links to display a coupon for this product, and I know I have never used it before so it is not because I’ve reached my limit. Help appreciated! thanks

It’s crazy how fast these coupons disappear. I check and double check that they are still available before I post. Without fail some of the printables disappear before the week even begins! I checked each site again after reading your comment and it looks like none of the printable shampoo/conditioner coupons are available anymore. So I’ve crossed them off. The bricks.com one I was still able to pull up though.

I used the $1/2 Ajax coupon and the clerk questioned me on it. She still let it go through manually, but there was no size restriction on it. Anyone else have problems?

    • Amanda says:

Yes! I was told that it was only good on detergents like those shown. I said that it says any Ajax product, but she would not accept it.

I went to 2 CVS’s today neither would take my coupon. The register said product not purchased. So I went to Walmart were they priced matched and read the wording on my coupon and used it.

At my CVS in Massachusetts, they have Huggies Pure and Natural diapers on clearance 50% off for $5.94. I haven’t checked my binder yet to see what Huggies coupons I have (if any), but it seems like I always have SOMETHING for Huggies. This could make for some really cheap diapers….

  37. JC says:

I just bought the Complete Multi Purpose Solution for 7.99, 3 Balance bars for 1.69ea ($1.00/3 coupon). Got back 9.68 in ECB. I’ll buy my 4/$10 Coke 12packs for pennies!!

My Beauty Club Spending was 48.44. So at CVS this morning I bought some 50% off covergirl lipgloss got it for an okay deal with a 1 dollar off coupon. It came out to be about 3 dollars making my Beauty spending 51.44 which means i should get 5 ecb. But they didn’t print and my Beauty Club spending on my reciept and online still says 48.44. Anyone know why?

  39. Hmh2oskier says:

Does anyone know with CVS on the spend x amount and get so much if that is before coupons or if you actually have to spend ax amount out of pocket. For example, I got one the other day for $10 off when spend $50 or more.

    • Darcy says:

In my experience it’s been before coupons, as long as you hand that $ off coupon first

      • Hmh2oskier says:

So I need to hand the $10 off coupon before I give them the items I am going to buy, scan the items and then give any manufacture coupons? Just trying to see best way for least out of pocket.

        • Tdchambers says:

Scan your CVS card…then green bag tag….then items to get your $50. Your $10 off coupon will work if you scan it as your first coupon followed by the rest of your manufacture coupons. I am always able to do this.

          • Hmh2oskier says:

What is the green bag tag? Sounds like a reuseable bag? Thanks for the tip! I wish I had always been a couponer—seems like when money becomes an issue is when people think more about their money.

            • Freckles411 says:

ya, I have used the x amount off and its before coupons like Hmh2oskier explained. If you give them that coupon at the end though it won’t work, it needs to be your first coupon! And ya, the green bag tag is a tag you can buy which scans like your CVS card if you bring in a resusable bag. It only scans once a day (or once a day per store, my cashier wasn’t positive on that). After 4 scans you earn an extra buck :)

I have a few left at the bottom of my receipts and the bar codes do not match the ones online. I hope someone can make out what I’m trying to say and help me. I don’t want to commit coupon fraud

    • Lauren Thoman says:

The online ones are meant to replace the ones on your receipt if you lose them. It may take a little while for them to update online, but you are not supposed to use them if you have used the original from your receipt.

  47. According the CVS’ website “2% of (my) Spring 2011 Spending will be issued on July 1st.” A friend of mine said that hers printed at the Coupon Center (Magic Coupon Machine). I’ve scanned my card several times since July 1st, but got nothing more than the usual coupons. Does anyone know what I can do?

I did my CVS shop yesterday for this week and I got a $2 off 2 Pantene, Aussie or Herbal Essences product. I used my $3 off 2 Aussie or HE products from PG 7/3 and another $1 off coupon I had for HE products that I had (not sure the date). So with the $1 Extra Buck I made 3 cents on that deal! I was so excited! :) Totally unexpected free/moneymaker yesterday…Whoo hoo!

  63. Carey says:

I’ve done the Lumene deal twice this week already-however, it doesn’t work if you only buy 5 of the creams, as they are $3.99 and 5 of them only brings your total to $19.95. I tried it and didn’t get the ECB so I added on the wipes for $2.99, since they are the cheapest Lumene item they had.

            Amount Toward this reward $20.00
Amount needed to earn reward $20.00
