Welcome to this post where we will lay out some extreme couponing deals that will cost you about $5.00 out of pocket each week!  First, here’s everything you need to know about shopping at CVS:

CVS allows one manufacturer coupon and one store coupon per product. You may use CVS Extra Bucks (ECBs) in addition to these coupons.  Extra Bucks are their rewards that are printed  at the end of your cash register receipt. These coupons can be used on your next purchase.  Remember, if there is a limit in the ad for the Extra Bucks items, this limit is per CVS Extra Care Card.

The best deals to be had at CVS are “Extra Bucks” offers.  The best thing about CVS is their rainchecks, which include the “Extra Buck” offers so you can still get the offer when they have more stock!  Be sure and get your CVS card so you can enjoy these extreme savings!  Be sure and read the CVS coupon policyYou can also go here and review the CVS How To Video.

My VERY favorite thing about CVS is their Rain Checks!  A Rain Check is a slip of paper that you can get from a store when they are out of an item that is on sale. The slip of paper allows you to come back when they have the item again in stock and purchase it for the sale price.   Rain checks are written taking the Extra Bucks into effect.  At CVS, rain checks do not expire!  So, when you run into a cleared shelf, consider getting a Rain Check!

if i have accumulated 4 different EB in 1 transaction, can i use all that combined EB to pay for just one item that would have the same total of what i have in EB? i never really have problems with CVS, but having shopped at walgreens with their RR, makes you kind of wonder. thanks…

  15. JD says:

do ecb automatically print after each transaction? i’m new to this and kind of confused because the website states “Every 3 months your Extra Bucks will print on your store register receipt, or visit CVS/pharmacy online to print your Extra Bucks.”

    • KL says:

Your EBs will print at the end of each receipt. The EBs that print every 3 months is your 2% on your purchases and prescriptions. You can view your daily EBs online and I think you can print again if you lost the ones on your receipt.

  21. Hi! I have a question. If I include two products that will produce extra bucks in the same transaction, will it print both?

    • Anonymous says:

The end of your receipt will print will all the extra bucks for all the products you buy. Love it when I have a ton of them!

  22. Swtbbypanda says:

I was planning on buying the john freida products with the eb deal. I have a 5 off 25 coupon, and a 10% off on beauty products from beauty club. Can I use both coupons in the same transaction? Beauty products include hair products too.

  23. Jane says:

I can’t say that all the mystery coupons will be the same, I just reported what I received.

  24. Jane says:

The ad reads that there is a mystery coupon for Revlon and maybelline My mystery coupon was 5 dollars off 20 dollars off any Revlon and Maybelline purchase, when you combine that with the current sale and coupons I would imagine that could turn into some good deals.

  25. Mt says:

I was wondering, me and my hubby both have cvs rewards cards so if I have a register reward that prints from my card then I use his card can I redeem my RR on his transaction?????

  26. Donna_j06 says:

quick question. if i have a $4 off $20 coupon from cvs does this mean before coupons? for instance can my total be $21 and i would then give the cashier this coupon and afterwards my manufacture coupons??? sorry i hope i make a little sense? thanks

    • Ashlee Powell says:

Yeah it’s before coupons :) Just hand them the 4/20 Q first and then the rest of the Qs HTH

    • Shellypauls says:

      Before

    • xo says:

They told me give them the cvs coupon first (because after you use mf coupons your total will be less than $20)

then after everything give them any extra bucks you might have

    • Tracyellison45 says:

Whenever I have a money off of a certain amount of purchase coupon I always wait until the total amount is shown before ever handing the cashier any coupons or loyalty cards etc. Maybe I’m a little suspicious about how computers and coupons work, but I like to see my total pre coupons, that way I know exactly how much I am saving in the end. :)

      • Anonymous says:

I can relate. I always split my coupon deals from other buys because I want to see that total separate too!

  27. Yolanda Choxom says:

Ok so do you buy two packs of paper or 1 to get the 3.98 EB??

    • Anonymous says:

The deal is a limit 2. The transaction has you buying two packs but you could just buy one for $1.99 EB

    • Mrsshane1943 says:

Buy two packs for 3.98, get two $2 EB=$4. I did it today. Plus I made a killing on all kinds of stuff on the clearance shelves @ 90% off.

  28. Sarah says:

Can you use the $2.00/1 Oral-B Pulsar, CrossAction, Advantage on an indicator toothbrush or are those toothbrushes included in the sale too?

  29. xo says:

Earlier this month there was a post saying John Frieda was a $10 eb reward all month long. Sooooooo I ordered coupons from a clipping service and now it’s no where to be found. Disapointed.

    • Jennihuntcoupons says:

I’m looking for the same John Frieda deal.. I went to CVS to ask them about it, and they didn’t know anything about it. Someone on facebook suggested that I take the product to the coupon center to scan it and see what it says. I think I might try that tomorrow.

      • Sillyjess143 says:

2 weeks ago they weren’t labeled at my store but today they were but it’s just full repair products

      • xo says:

My Comment was removed for some reason???

Anyway the blog post from earlier this month says the John Frieda $10 eb is running 7/3 – 7/31 and I noticed it’s not in the circular or this weeks match-ups. Does anyone know if this still works?

        • Tracyellison45 says:

Yes, the John Frieda promotion is still on. I saw the signs today in my local CVS. It is only for the red bottled Full Repair selection of JF products and the Light Blue bottles of JF products. The regular JF shampoo/conditioner/etc that is regular priced $4.99-$5.49 is NOT part of the promo and it doesn’t count towards getting the $10 in Extra Bucks. Hope this helps!

      • Vmzamora says:

If u go really early they tend to not have stuff labeled.

  30. flaj says:

Haha, nope. You’re still paying 8.98 oop. Why can’t you just post truthfully? I also notice that you just started moderating these comments. Is that because you don’t want others to see people like me calling you on this crap?
