Ok need a little advice -
I went in to Walgreens today to buy the Irish Spring Body Wash. It rang up as $4.49 -.50 RWRD. Second one was $4.49 – $2.48 RWD. I had two .50 MFGC for both of them. I was expecting the $4.00 REG RWRD but it didn’t print. So I paid $5.00 for both of them – not. .50 each! Any suggestions on why I didn’t get my $4.00 Reg. Reward?

Scored these at our great Walgreens — they had them all up front near the registers to make it convenient for the couponers….gotta love that!!

I really messed up on this one. When I went to get the Irish Spring I used a $4 RR to pay for it and I didn’t realize it was the RR I received for Irish Spring deoterant earlier in the week. Soooo they would not give me a new $4 RR for the body wash. Lesson learned :o(

Here’s what I’m going to do:

1st transaction: (4) 99cent (with in store coupon) pure silk shave cream. Use (4) 80cent off coupon (I only buy 4 papers)
$1.50 perfection tampons, get 1.50 in RR

    2nd transaction: (2)/$3 Scrunci- $1.50 in RR
    total= 1.50+tax+3.00 in RR

3rd transaction: (2)/$6 Irish spring body wash or deodorant-1.50 in coupons from 7/24=4.50-3.00 in RR+.39 sharpie (with in store coupon)
    Total 1.89+tax+4 in RR
Total OOP: 5.78 with a remaining of $4 in RR so basically $1.78 for all of these items. Also throw in some skintimate shave gels (2) from the 1.50 off bricks coupons use 1.99 (walgreens in store coupon) knocking the total down to just .49 cents per can of shaving cream, your going to need a cheap filler, so just get another .39 pack of sharpie (cheaper than the candy up front @ .59 cents)

    Hope this helps someone, LOL!

I did the deodorant. It was an awesome deal =)

    • Tracy Boone says:

I am confused about the register rewards at Walgreens, I have not receiving them, my receipt talks about “points”, is this the same thing and how do I get the register rewards themselves? Please help me understand Walgreens….

  19. Melissa says:

Our newspaper had the $.50 off coupon too on the body wash. I got 4 of them and did 2 separate transactions in addition to two transactions with the deodorant in them.

The Irish Spring deodorants are 2/$6. Use 2 $1/1.
Pay $4 and get $4 Register Reward.

Did a separate transaction for the Crest toothpastes 2/$4.98.
Use $1/2.Total is $3.98 before tax.
Used $4 Register Reward from deodorants and paid 26 cents!
Got a $3 Register Reward for Crest.

Bought the Scunci hair ties 2 for $3.
Used the $3 Register Reward. Paid 24 cents and got a $3 Register Reward.

    Huggies 64ct wipes $2.49ea bought 3
Use $1/1 Walgreens coupon (takes off $3)
    Use 3 50cent/1 manufacturer coupon
Use $3 Register Reward and they are FREE!!!!!!
Out of pocket total was truly less than $6!!!!

I did this on sunday at the Walgreens by me and yesterday at another local Walgreens. My husband is always impressed.

    • Nicole says:

      Thanks for the shopping idea!
I’m going to try your trans tomorrow, except instead of the huggies wipes, I’ll be getting 4 skintimate shave cream which with instore ($2) & manufacturer ($1.50/1) coupons it’s 49cent each. It’s normally $3.99 at my store which makes it a great deal. And something else cheap to make up the difference to the $3 RR.

    • Where did you get the $1/1 coupon for the Huggies wipes? Is it in the July Walgreens Coupon Booklet?

      • Butterhead16 says:

Yea Liz probably had to throw in some candy or something. A nice filler at all of my local Wags is they have a stand right by the cosmetics checkout and it is full of Jordana makeup clearanced real cheap. The lip gloss was $0.49 and the eyeliner was like $0.12, I think. Cheap stocking stuffers that double as your filler item!

      • Thekrazycouponlady says:

You will need a filler item!

How/where do I get an August Coupon Booklet?
