I went to Walmart in N forth worth and I took walgreens ad for 2.99 and tried to use the $3 off coupon and it didn’t scan? I know they can manually enter the coupon but the assistant manager wouldn’t approve! Frustration :(

Kroger had these on sale for $3.49!! My diabetic father-in-law will be stocked up at my house! :)

Target in Pgh area didn’t carry these but Wal Mart did!

They’re even cheaper at HEB this week! Price was $3.78 minus my $3.00 coupon = 78 cents!!

Got the coupon, got 3. woohoo. Love it when extras fall in my lap. Walgreens has Splenda with Fiber (at least mine) for $2.99 a box. Just got mine for FREE.
Also at walgreens. $1.50 a jar of Ragu when you buy 2 and I had $.40 coupons. I cheat, I also have an employee discount so I got Ragu for .87 a jar and the Barilla pasta for .84 a box.

Hey, there is Walgreens coupon for Splenda for $2.99. Would I be able to use the $3 coupon for that and get it for free? (Will also add filler for the negative -$0.01 balance)

As long as it is Splenda Essentials that should work!

Reply

Okay, thank you! If it’s Splenda Essentials, will it say so on the cover?

Reply

Yes, they didn’t carry them @ my Walgreens.

Reply

It’s the regular spenda on sale at walgreens so it shouldn’t work.. but you never know what coupons they will take.

I checked the my WAGS and the splenda essentials website and the walgreens near me don’t carry the splenda essentials. I did find it at our target for 3.49 though. I want my stores to be reimbursed. I never thought about adding fiber to sweeteners but whatever – it genereated a coupon for a new product which works for me.

Hello, I am new to couponing and love this site. However, I live in Cincinnati, Ohio and our deals/coupons don’t always match up. I would love to hear from others in my area and how they are saving money!

Reply

Hi I live in Cleveland and 98% of the deals match up for me. Oh course we don’t have a Food Lion , Albertson or Safeway but I just skip those deal. No big deal. I am still saving TONS of money. Good Luck

Thanks! I am finding our prices tend to be higher and our coupons are not always as good. I shop mostly at Kroger and Target and now I have started going to CVS and Walgreens. I love CVS but Walgreens seems to be a bit too much work. I have 4 people in college right now and a son who just got his Masters and has moved back home to job search so every penny counts!!!! I would love to find people here in Cincy to trade coupons and information with.
Thanks again.

I live in Cincy as well and the majority of the time the deals match up, especially at Kroger, CVS and Walgreens. I get almost all of our personal care items for free from CVS (Walgreens can be tricky with the RRs and their rainchecks don’t include RR unlike CVS). Just be patient, don’t try to get everything now. Start slow and find a couple free deals a week and before you know it you will have a closet full of free stuff:) I started buying just one paper a week and found that was not enough, I get 4 now and that is perfect, (we have two newborns and a 10 year old).

Reply

Thanks! I have one paper delivered, I get one from my mother in law and my Sunday morning soccer players pick up one or two more if I need them on their way back from games. I have also tried the Walmart near our sportsclub but it’s hard to pass up the grocery stores double coupon deal. I haven’t tried to price match there yet., have you ever tried that?

I also live in Cincy and most of the deals seem to match up for me! I’ve been having a lot of luck at Kroger lately… I read the “brag lounge” a lot to find out what the free or really cheap items are… :)

Thanks, I will check out the brag lounge for more ideas.Do you know of any groups that trade coupons in our area?

If you live in an area with a Giant Eagle (PA, OH, WV) they have it on sale for $3.33 this week, so with the coupon it would only be $.33!

I actually got this coupon in the mail on Tuesday RedPlum Mailer.
Waited for the Giant Eagle Sale and took it there.
I live in PA and there are 3 varieties to choose from,
all 80 count, one is the Regular, one has Anti-oxidants and one has B-vitamins.

I’m in South Carolina and I got it. Supposedly it’s free at Foodlion. There’s an ad right next to it saying it’s $3 at Foodlion and once you use the coupon it’s free. Anyone else got this with the Foodlion ad?

It’s on sale for $3.00 at Nashville Food Lion and I got the $3.00 coupon in the Sunday paper. Got 4 free 80 count splendas free :)

Puppytat and Cathy, was it an advertised sale in the flyer? I can’t find it in my flyer in Florida

This must have been a regional coupon. I did not get it here in Texas.

Reply

amanda-we got this in austin.

I’m in Bryan, Tx and we didn’t get it. I am frustrated because I am down to one box of spenda and all I have is one $1 off coupon that I need to use. It’s times like these that it is CHEAPER NOT TO COUPON and just buy the store brand.

I’m in Houston, TX and I got it..

I live in South Texas and we didn’t get it either.

i really need the bulk, it would take half the box to sweeten a gallon of tea. no problem i might make a gallon of unsweetened and put this box on the end table by hubby’s chair.
