1st Time Price Matching at Walmart
Posted in: The Brag Lounge, Walmart // Comments (34)
I must say….I REALLY like the Walmart price matching and will go there more often.
They were VERY nice during the entire process and I made sure that I had all of my ads, and the items circled for them, etc.
It was great to get the ECBs upfront instead of something printed out and trying to roll them over, etc. This was true savings recognized.
Out of pocket, I spent $32.63 for $73.75 of groceries. Not a bad haul and equates to about a 56% savings (I’m happy with that!)…..
(5) Cascade Trial Size Dishwasher Detergent – $0.97 each, I used 5/$1.00 off on 1 coupons. I received an overage of $0.15.
(4) Totinoes Pizza Rolls. They were $1.50 each, and I used 2/$0.40 off on 2.
(2) Hot Pocket Snackers. They were $2.67 each and I used 2/$1.00 off each coupons.
(4) Bugles. I price matched them to Dollar General price of $1.00 each and used 5/$0.50 off each coupons. ***NOTE: The picture in the ad showed the Nacho cheese and regular. I asked the manager if I could price match the Sweet and Salty so I could use my coupons and he let me without question.
(4) Crayola Markers. I price matched to Walgreens price of FREE, so they were totally FREE (I will be donating them)
(3) Proglide Razors. I price matched to Walgreens price of $4.99 and used 3/$4.00 off each coupons, making them $0.99 each.
(3) Soliel Razors. I price matched to Rite Aid price of $3.99 and used 3/$3.00 off each coupons.
(2) Airwick Ultra. I price matched to Dollar General price of $4.00 and used 2/$4.00 off each, making them FREE.
(3) Greek Yogurt cups. They were $1.00 each and I used 1/$1.00 off on 3 coupon.
(2) Reach Floss. They were $0.88 each and I used 2/$1.00 off on each coupons. Overage of $0.24.
(2) Hand Sanitizer. Price was $0.98 each
(1) Macaroni Grill. Price was 6.48 and I used the $1.00 off peelie on the bag.
(1) Buitoni Ravoli. Price was 7.98 and I used the $1.00 off peelie on the box.
(1) 3-Drawer Organizer . Price $4.97 and no coupon (BOO!)
(2) Bags of salad mix. Price was 3.58 each and no coupon (BOO!)
(1) Green Pepper. Price was $0.74 and no coupon (BOO!)
(1) Red Pepper. Price was $1.00 and no coupon (BOO!)
(1) Green Onion. Price 1.14 and no coupon (BOO!)
I must say…it was VERY easy to price match as long as I had the ad with me….
