  1. Ms Marshun says:

I have a question… what do you do or can you do anything at all if you know for a fact, and when I say fact, I mean first hand from a employee, that Walgreens has a product but won’t put it on the shelf simply because it is a money maker. the walgreens in Clermont Fl. on HWY 50 and Bloxam will not put out the Keri lotion…….at all! I don’t think its right and the employees don’t either.what can a consumer do about that? or can they do anything at all?

  2. Michelle Roxchester says:

For the “Dove or Degree Clinical Protection Antiperspirant/Deodorant 3/$12″ deal, were any of you guys able to have the Dove Men+Care free item applied as one of the three you must buy? Are they part of the deal?

  3. Kole says:

Did my shopping today. It’s awesome that the gal who works in cosmetics is also a couponer so she WANTS to ring me up.

    The good and bad:

The Dove soap magic RR didn’t come up for me. BOO
The Always pads RR came out as $2 rather than the advertised. So now I get to wait 2 months to get my other $2. BOO
They didn’t have Keri lotion in stock….still. BOO
The Rice Krispie treats worked great with my coupons; end result $.75ea box. YAY!
They had Expo dry erase markers finally in stock! YAY!

  4. Rosanne Dobbins says:

I am curious also about the $1 off 2 Cheeze-It coupons. I know the coupons say for 9.75 oz. or larger and the Cheez-It boxes at WAGS are only 9 oz. I don’t know if they would take them or not. Would be interested to know if anybody has tried.

  5. CarmenE says:

The cashier at my walgreens told me about an awesome deal- If you buy three single bars of Dove soap (on sale for .99 with in ad coupon-limit 3) it will print a $6 RR!!! Sweet deal on the soap! $3.00 moneymaker! I did this deal twice and it worked both times!

  6. If you are in Massachusetts, Wisk is MUCH cheaper at Stop & Shop. 1.99 after $2 mfc.

I’m new to couponing and like an idiot I didn’t make sure the cashier rang up the Coupon for the Mitchum deodorant and the in ad coupon for the Hot Pockets 2/$3. So I was wondering if there is any way to take the receipt in and get a credit for the coupons? I’m sure you can’t but I thought I would ask. This is definitely a learning process but it’s well worth it in the end.

  8. Anonymous says:

With the dove 3/$18..if you use one $1.25 off body wash and a buy hers get his free deodorant, can the free item count as one of your 3?

  9. I just finished my FIRST walgreens trip using coupons and was a little disappointed that the manufacturers coupons for colgate toothpaste and mitchum deoderant only worked for one item each and not for the others I bought of the same product. Is this supposed to happen or do I need to go back to the store? Thanks for the help :)

Did you use a 1 manufacturer per item? If so then you should of had the amount taken off each item.

  10. where on the website can I find the price list that came out a few weeks ago? It has all the categories from our binders, and it shows the 3 month and 6 month prices for everything. I printed it when it was emailed and lost it.

I was at WAGS yesterday and used 2 coupons for the keebler/sunshine deal. The coupons were each for $1 off 2. The clerk said that since the coupons were for off two that they counted as using 4 coupons and I was not allowed to use a RR to pay for the remainder of the purchase. Does anyone know if this is correct? It does not seem so to me since I only had 2 paper coupons and 4 items. Thanks!!!

I had the same problem a few weeks ago with the poptart deal…my coupon was for 1.00 off 3 boxes and I couldn’t pay with a RR because I didn’t have anything else in the transaction. They said even though I had three items and one coupon, the coupon counted for all the items….I had to add a filler…frustrating! Especially if you only want to buy items you have coupons for (which is what I usually do there)…

In this case you would need a filler since RR are considered manufacturer coupons. You have to have an item per manufacturer coupon.

Walgreens has a $2 RR for huggies so if you use your $3 huggies coupon it is $4.49 final price.
You can use the $1.00 manu coupon huggies pull ups & walg coupon for for $8.49…..
$2 walg coupon ( on site) off huggies wipes & $.050 manuf coupon

Has anyone else been having trouble with RR this week? I follow the rules and usually have no problems but I have made two purchases this week and neither one printed the register rewards. The first time the manager claimed it was because I had used a coupon. Baloney! He forced the RR though. Tonight however, I purchased the Keebler Cookies deal using two RRs from last week. One was from Pert Plus and one from Revlon. The RR did not print and the manager (same one as before) said it was because I used RRs to pay. I asked him if that was a new policy because I do this frequently without a problem and he claimed that has ALWAYS been the rule. I told him that is not true because I have always done it and he refused to give me my RR. Any advice on educating this manager?

at my wags i found some garnier extra hold gel in the clearance section 4.99 on clearance 1.24 and i had a 1.00off manu coupon. 24cents :)

Where would I find a coupon for All You September 2011. What is All You September 2011. I was on the Walgreen’s ad.

Today I bought the Revlon Tweezers ($1.00 off from the August booklet and $1.00 Revlon Tool MQ) When I did this I got the tweezers for 49¢ (this had been previously reported by KCL)…BUT…when went to pay ANOTHER Walgreens coupon printed for $2 off a Revlon beauty tool…I wonder if I can keep on going. One only needs so many tweezers :-)

  18. Anonymous says:

I used $0.75/1 – Colgate 360 Toothbrush for my purchase, the $4.00 Register Reward did not print out. I spoke with the store manager who said that if I use the coupon against my purchase, no RR will be printed. I checked the Walgreens coupon policy, I did not see anything like that. it’s confusing too..

    • Vivian Nguyen says:

The manager is incorrect. I did this transaction twice already and it worked just fine. You have to look for the Colgate 360 Sensitive Pro-Relieve. Other Colgate 360 will NOT produce the RR. Good luck.

  20. Do the coupons from the summer Diabetes & You work if I print them? I’m trying to buy the colgate toothpaste at $1.00 each. Thank you for your help. I’m a newby.

  21. bry says:

I’m new to this, I was wondering how the BIC razor deal would work? It says
Buy One Get One 50% off
Use 2 $2.00/1 Bic Razor, any (ets) from SS 7/31
The coupon says “Only one coupon is redeemable per purchase and only on a BIC razor. Coupon may not be combined with any other offer…”
How should it be rung up?

  22. Stephanie says:

I only see the $0.50/1 and $0.75/1 coupons for the Crest toothpaste in PG. I didn’t see a $1.00/1 Crest coupon.

  23. Couponkim99 says:

    Another question:)

Is WAGS changing their policy? I’ve heard several people mention only being allowed to do 1 transaction (does that mean one per day? one per store?)

Do all WAGS follow the same policy or does it differ from store to store, even those nearby each other?

    Thanks!

    • Anonymous says:

I’m not sure but I know when I first started couponing I loved Walgreens. Boy was that short lived! Now they NEVER have stock and the daytime cashier is not the nicest so I’ve started price matching at Walmart where the cashiers are friendly and always ready for my coupons!!! (I know sounds crazy but my Walmart is very friendly) I’ve also started at CVS which I find very friendly also and usually much better with having items in stock since there is a limit on the card.

But to answer your question, I would assume it is one per day and depending on your cashier who knows how closely they’ll follow that rule. But I doubt there is anyway they can tell if you’ve already had a transaction at a previous store!!!

    • Anonymous says:

This is not in their coupon policy. This is up to the store manager to make that decision.

  24. Couponkim99 says:

A few general questions… i am new to this, lol.
What is the “All You” coupon book I see being mentioned… where do you find that at WAGS? I only know of the monthly coupon book there…

Also, did anyone else only get 1 coupon insert in the paper this week? Mine only had SS, no REd Plum:(

The Listerine coupons shouldn’t work for the mouth wash, because they have a size limit, and the one in the store is only 3.2oz. All the coupons shown are for 500mL and 1L.

as I understand, total must be $10 after wags q’s, then use man q’s.

$2.50 off 2 Mnf coupon: Buy 1 Listerine Total care anticavity mouthwash…OR 1 Reach toothbrush and/or any 1 reach floss or access flosser (I don’t think the mouthwash is applicable here, but my coupon got cut so i can’t read the size)

I have the following coupons for Tampax Pearl (which is $8.99 for 54), can I use all 3 and if so is this even a good deal? I’m new to this… Thanks!!!

1- Buy one Tampax Pearl get an 18 count for free
2- $1 off Tampax Pearl- 18 count or more

    • Lizzy T. says:

I believe you could use both coupons, however it doesn’t sound that great a deal unless you’re in need today – $7.99 for 72 tampons, which is 11 cents a tampon. I’ve seen boxes of 20 for a dollar, or 5 cents each, and all the way down to free.

    • Anonymous says:

If you are planning on buying 4 items, then yet you could use all of these coupons. The B1G1 coupon is probably attached to both items so you wouldn’t be able to use another coupon on the second item. Does this make sense?

      • Anonymous says:

Yes, I think so. I just didn’t know if I could use two $1 off even though I’d be getting the 18 count free. As I said, I’m new to couponing so I wasn’t sure about that deal or if it was even a good one. To a new couponer, anything with a coupon sounds like a good deal at first!! :)

So happy that they had a different expo markers deal-not as great as the “free” deals last week (every store in town was cleared! I never got any!). Still .50 each is a great deal-I got four packs and I can donate them to my daughter’s school. Also got the Rice Krispie treats and three transparent tapes (the manufacturer’s coupon for the magic tape doesn’t work…however .39c a roll is a super deal!)

I had that same issue with the compact one I bought too. The manager told me it was because I used a coupon it wouldn’t print the reward (thought that was weird because I used a coupon for the one that printed too). I bought the Airwick Freshmatic Odor Detect Compact. It didn’t have a sign but I just assumed it would produce the $3 RR. It didn’t.After looking at the ad when I got home I realized that wasn’t pictured or listed specifically. And she forgot to scan my WG bleach coupon. First time this has eve happened. Back to Walgreens I go!

    • Jessica says:

The compact should be apart of the deal. I notice the purple label was the only printing. The blue label was not. It is on page 2 of the ad.

      • Sara U says:

of course i bought the blue one….darn!

      • Hollybub says:

my Wag’s wouldn’t allow the compact one….They said “only what the picture shows”….and the same thing on the cookie deal, they would only allow me to get what the picture showed…That drives me nuts….

Keep an eye out on the freshmatics. Certain ones were not triggering the RR.

Mine didn’t print RR so the cashier went back and grabbed a different one then the one I had and it printed off one. So she just gave me the RR that printed off with that one b/c she said the one I bought should have printed off one also. I bought the Freshmatic Compact one.

I have a $1.00 off PineSol coupon. I think that would make it 1.99. Is that a good price or should I save it?

  46. couponing mamabear says:

Ran out to Walgreens right before close last night, and WOW am I glad I procrastinated on the Revlon nail polish. Instead of $3.99 they were all ringing in at $2.87 and $2.99. I used both the Walgreen’s $2.00 off and the Revlon $1.00 manufacturer coupon. Ended up with 17 free nail polishes (3 I had bought earlier, so 20 total, but I didn’t want to clear the shelf at the first Walgreens I was at) and 60 bucks in RR. I think the manager disliked me, and at first told me I was not allowed to use the manufacturer coupon because it beeped and they would not adjust the price down, but I politely asked her to call the other store and see how they rang it, it worked fine earlier in the day and even showed her my receipt. Yippee! She kinda scoffed and just did it again, and again, and again etc. LOVE IT!

Yes a RR is a manufacturer coupon so In this case you would need a filler item. It can be anything in the store, so think cheap.

Can you get 1 man’s and 1 woman’s dove deodorant and get a 1rr and use the b1g1 free coupon?

    • Christi says:

I do not think so because the coupon says it has to be the womens ultimate or clinical dove deodorant and I don’t believe that is what is on sale for 2/$4

      • Dbrstph says:

The ad just says dove or degree deodorant 2/$4 1.00 reward =2/$3 not ultimate or clinical

        • Christi says:

I know it says dove or degree but the clinical/ ultimate deodorant is the more expensive brand and I do not believe the clinical/ ultimate deodorant is included in the 2/$4 because there is also the other dove deal going on where if you buy 3 dove clinical for $18 you get $6 RR. Thats why I don’t think it will work

    • I am going to try tomarrow. For whatever reason I feel like good men’s deodorant goes on sale more frequently than womens.

Yes…as long as you have more items than pieces of paper…such as: coupons and RRs. If you have more coupons and RRs than you do items to purchase, simply find an inexpensive filler item. I usually do the Walgreens pocket pack of tissues for .24 to get enough items and the thissues are perfect for purse and cars.

            • Any word on whether the buy four and get $4 RR will work for the degree?

            • Christi says:

As far as I know on the regular size degree it is still working on another site i read wags removed the deal for trial size

            • Christi says:

So I went this morning and got the 4 degree deodorants and it only printed off the $4 RR I talked to the manager and she said it would only print one or the other deal since I got 4 degree’s it printed off the $4 RR if I would have only gotten the 2 it would have only printed off $1 RR. So that makes each big stick of degree $1 if you buy 4 unless you still have your degree coupons.

            • Kristen says:

Yup same thing at my Walgreens. Only printed off the $4 RR. I still had my $.75 off coupons so it was like paying $.25 each. Great deal!

I THINK you can use 2 BOGO coupons and get 4 items for the price of 1 1/2…

    • Becky W says:

Your BOGO coupon will take the place of the whole product. If you are buying 4 products that are on sale BOGO 50% off, you will end up paying for just the price of one product plus tax on 4 products. The BOGO coupon will cancel out the price of 2 items and the BOGO 50 % will cancel out the price of one other item.

    • SC Mom says:

I got full prices off when I used 2 BOGO coupons last week for the Dove deal (4/$15, receive $5 RR), and was able to stack on 2 more coupons (since buying 4 items) to make the whole purchase a net moneymaker.

    • By_ch0ice says:

      no u lose the rest..

    • Couponcrazedmom says:

No. If you give a $10 RR. you forfeit the whole thing, so you want to make sure to get at least $10 (+ tax) worth of items before you use it.
