    I tried this deal in Miami, Fl. The WAG code of 5829 went through when she put it manually but the machine won’t take the Manufacturer’s Coupon even when the cashier tried it manually. I wonder what went wrong. The cashier said that they cannot push it if the computer won’t take the coupon. Ended up not getting the deal. But will try in another branch later. Will keep you posted.

    COUPON CODE ISSUE. I tried using the coupon code yesterday and the cashier called the manager to get permission to use it. The code worked, took $4 off for 2 items, but the screen said it was a Manufacturer Coupon and she said she could not do it if she did not have an actual coupon for her drawer to balance. I explained that it was not a MQ, but a WAGS coupon and got no where. Since I had nothing to prove it was a WAGS coupon I ended up not being able to use it. Afterwards I thought that I should have mentioned that a MQ would not have a 4 digit coupon code that would work on a WAGS register.

    Has anyone else had this problem? I would really like to use this code and go back today. Thank you!

  4. UPDATE!! Went to a different WAGS in a nearby town and was able to get the deal no problem. Actually did 3 trans at $.41 oop for each cuz I had 6 q’s and all my RR printed without a hitch. So $1.23 oop and $9.00 RR!! WOOHOO!! This was a bigger and much better stocked store than the one I usually shop at and the cosmetics girl was awesome. She even gave me a heads up to hang on to some q’s I was gonna use on toothpaste til next week for a much better deal. Knowledgable and friendly sales clerks sure make all the difference:)

    I paid a little more OOP with taxes here in OH; my transaction looked like this:

    Foundation = 8.39 (40% sale price)
    Concealer = 5.99 (40% sale price
    Coupons = 10.00 MQ +4.00 Wags

    Subtotal = 0.38 + 0.98 (6.75% sales tax) = 1.36
    Receive 3.00 RR = 1.64 MM !

    This is a truly Krazy deal, even if you do not have the $2 Walgreens coupon. I did this last night, and it was my best deal of the week. For the first deal, I got 2 concealers, used 2 $5 Revlon coupons, paid $1.98, received $3 RR. So, that was a $1.02 moneymaker for $20 worth of product. Wow! For my second deal (the hubby helped), I did one foundation and one concealer, used 2 $5 Revlon coupons, paid $4.38, received $3 RR. Paid $1.38 for $24 of product, Wow!! Awesome job to whomever came up with this deal. By the way, I got the coupons in Philly area newspapers.

    I did two transactions each with one concealer and one foundation. For the 1st transaction I used 2 $5 coupons along with the $2 Walgreens coupon. For the 2nd transaction I used 1 $5 coupon along with the $2 Walgreens coupon. The RR did NOT print for either transaction:( Does anyone know why they didn’t print? The $6 in rewards would of been nice to get…. Thanks!

  11. Went by my walgreens today, the concealer and the foundation were both on sale for $9.99 so I didn’t end up using my coupons. Is the $5.99 concealer only in certain areas?

    • Christie Hicks says:

      My store (Clearwater, FL) didn’t have tags saying that the concealer was on sale, the only tags said 9.99 for other things, but everything is 40% off. Also, I used the walgreens coupon first and it did ring up as manufacturer’s coupon, so the other coupons wouldn’t go through, but the cashier manually did them. The foundation was $1 more at my store than other people got, but with one concealer and one foundation, I still only paid $1.39 and then got the $3 back, super excited about that.

    • Anonymous says:

      Same in my store, but there was a concealer for eyes that was $5.99 after discount. The items that said $9.99 were actually $8.99. Ask for the price check when you’re not sure.

    • Anonymous says:

      I checked my store in Los Angeles and the foundation was on sale for $8.39 and the age defining concealer was $6.56. I’m going to go back but just wondering how the coupon situation will work on the concealer since it’s techincally $7 in coupons so there’s an overage and Walgreens doesn’t like that, although I have another product too so maybe it’ll cancel itself out. I’ll find out later when I go. Hope it works!

    I just tried this deal yesterday, it was great!! the concealer was $6.29 and the foundation $8.99 after the %40 off, I used the Walgreens Revlon coupon for $2.00 and it deducted $4.00 making it a total of $11.28. I handed the (2) $5.00 off manufacturing coupons last, and ended up paying .64 cents for each. Received the $3 RR. Great deal!!! the Walgreen’s Revlon coupon for $2.00 can be used multiple times, cashier allowed me to keep mine. I also noticed she had some on top of her cashier box, might be worth a try to ask.
    My daughter did this deal too! her first time.. she was so excited..

  15. Could it have been the order the coupons were scanned?? I think she did the manufacturer’s Q 1st because the register beeped when she did Wags q.

  16. So frustrated! Tried to do this deal today and it wouldn’t print a RR so then I proceeded to try it with 2 foundations and still no RR plus it would cost me $4.28 OOP and I was needing those RR to purchase other items, so I finally gave up. Cosmetic girl couldn’t tell me what was wrong and the MGR said it was because I was using Revlon Q’s which totally doesn’t make any sense. I would see if I was using Revlon RR but not reg Q’s out of the paper. Any thoughts anyone?? I may try it at another Wags in town and see what happens.

    I got my makeup yesterday!!! I was very upset to find that they didn’t have black people colors in the age defying foundations. Shannon from the beauty counter was so nice to let me use my coupons on any revlon product of the same price which was only $9.99 at my store.

    I bought two revlon photo ready foundations, used two $5/1 coupons, Shannon gave me two $2/1 coupons. I had to use a filler so I used a $1/3 coupon for three mentos gum that were on clearance for .89. My oop after tax was $4.98. I received a $3.00 register reward.

    Shannon also took my $1/3 coupons as $1/1. She’s my new best friend :)

    I will always choose this Walgreens and I’m going to write shannon a good review!

  19. I really dont understand walgreens..last night i went got a foundation and eye shadow..used 2/1 wags q and 1/1 revlon..rr didnt print said amount had to be 10 after coupons..but i still ended up paying 11 and some change..plus she mad me use 2 wags q instead of 1 even though the 1 rang up 4 off.she took it off and manually put in 2 twice..thank you..im about to take my purchase back

    I got my 2 revlon foundation and 2 concealer today and did 2 separate transactions, although i have to ask the cashier which ones those are since i don’t use make up. I have the walgreens coupon i saved for awhile, never knowing if i needed it or not, just like diaper coupons, i don’t have kids but save all my coupons. end up paying for both transactions .82 cents with .06 cents on tax. so I made $5.18 today. You do have to get 2 items to reach $10, the prices ring up on my receipt after 40% off.

    Could i get two concealers instead of foundation and concealer for a $5.01 moneymaker?

    • Anonymous says:

      No,
      5.99+5.99 (price after 40% discount) = 11.98
      11.98-4 (wags coup.) = 7.98 ——–this total has to be at least $10 for the RR to print.

      If you do this, it will be $2.02 moneymaker, RR will not print.

      • Anonymous says:

        I thought the RR printed according to the before coupon amount? At least that’s what I’ve always done before. The way KCL does the scenario is that the RR prints out so I’m hoping that works for me today.

    Does anyone with extra $5/1 Revlon coupons would like to trade? We didn’t get any in CO =(

  23. Didn’t have the coupons But congrats to those that did!

  24. Anonymous says:

    Well, I didn’t have both coupons, but still got a good deal @Walgreens today! I bought 1 Revlon Age-Defying makeup on sale for $9.39. Used my $5 off coupon and got it for $4.39. I also bought 2 Maalox Xtra Strength, 1 Gas-X. Used the $2 off coupon in Walgreens Sept. booklet for the Maalox and $1 off coupon in same booklet for the Gas-X. I stacked a $2.50 off 2 Maalox MQ and a $1 off Gas-X MQ with them to bring my total down from $30.55 to $9.05!! Not bad when the Revlon makeup by itself retails for $13,39!

  25. 5829 someone posted earlier in the comments

    The Age Defying products at my Houston Walgreens were way higher ticket price, so the 40% off sale still wasn’t making it a freebie with my $5 mfg coupon. I was going to just pass it up but I sifted through the clearance and found the Age Defying eye cream for $4.99. The lady grumbled a little, but adjusted the coupon so it was totally free. =) Also got the Tom’s deodorant, Blistex and 3 packs of Trident and paid only $1.74 after RR. Not too bad for my very first time!

    Can someone give me the code of the coupon i can probably give to my cashier…

  28. Janette says:

    The Age Defying Moisturizing concealer is on sale for $5.99, I got 2 shades of it b/c I am lighter in the winter and darker in the summer – so I got each for .99 + I got the $3.00 register rewards! I didn’t have the $2 Wags coupon on top though, but still pretty thrilled with this purchase!!! Thanks KCL! (also got the Poise deal, but they only had 2 left, so the store gave me after RR price and used my coupon so I got 2 for free!)

    The Wags coupon does not actually have a numbered code on it… however found this information when reading through the comments section on Wild for Wags (I have not actually tried this myself):

    The code for the $2.00 off Walgreens Revlon coupon is 5829. It is not on the coupon, but someone else mentioned it, so I asked the cashier to try it and it worked.

    does anyone have a code i can tell the cashier if so please let me know i’d love to get this awesome deal!! thank you!!

  33. Kacey Betau says:

    Can you do the deal with just 2 concealers? $19.98 @ 40% off is $11.99 with 2 $5.00/1 coupons. And could you still use the Walgreens 2.00/1 as long as you have other filler items?

    • Anonymous says:

      I don’t think so, your total after the 40% off and the $4 off from 2-$2 Wags coupons is $8. Needs to be at least $10 before MQ’s to get register rewards.

  34. Walgreens also has a great deal on Trident. Use the coupon from the ad, that is .79 each, then use the coupon from the September booklet, which is .50 off 2, then use your MF coupon that is $2 off of 3 (sorry, I don’t remember which insert it’s from) but these end up being FREE!!!

    • Jennifer Jolley says:

      The $2/3 coupon expired but there is a new $1/3 coupon that came in this Sunday’s paper.

  35. Anonymous says:

    I can’t find the Walgreens coupon- was it regional? Was it in a seperate insert or just in the regular SS?

  36. How does this make money? I am lost, but it looks like only $14 in coupons with $24 worth of product….

  37. Anonymous says:

    What if we do not have the walgreens coupons anymore? Do they have them in store?

  38. Megan Davis says:

    Does anyone know the Wags $2/1 coupon #?? I didn’t get the Q but am crossing my fingers the cashier will let me use it if I have the code.

  39. Curly says:

    Did this deal last night!!!!

  40. You don’t need a filler item. The Walgreens coupon (IVC) does not count towards your coupon to item ratio :)

  41. If I am just going to get 2 of the Revlon concealers & have 2 of the $5 off coupons, do I still have to have a filler item in order to get a RR?

    Also, what Walgreens coupon are you talking about? Is it one from the booklet? If so, aren’t the booklet coupons considered manufacturer’s coupons and not allowed to use along with the $5 one? I am fairly new to all this, and walgreens is the only place that I don’t get their coupon policy. lol

  42. why can’t i just buy the foundation which is over $10.00 isn’t it before coupons?

  43. Don’t forget to use a filler item! Walgreens will not allow more coupons than items.
