    hello

  2. My ad says Chex Mix 7-8.75 oz. So I cannot use the Chex Mix coupon for .75/1 Chex mix 10.5 oz or larger. Glad I caught that before I went to the store!

  3. Anonymous says:

I went to Albertsons today and got 60 items from the “Mega Sale” i would get $30.00 off. My total was 30$ more than what i thought it should be. When i got home & had a chance to look at my receipt i saw that everything i bought was overcharged by $0.50=$30.00. I called the store, someone got on the phone when i explained to her that everything was charged 0.50 over. she said that the price that is advertised is after you get the $5.00 off of 10 items. Example the .79 yogurt that is advertised was really $1.29. The .79 price is only after ten items were purchased. I explained to her that that is not what the sale paper say. It says that the price is .79 for as long as you buy 10 and the an additional $5.00 off. Then she said that i could call back tomorrow and talk to the store manager(which i will do). I also called the questions and concerns line and the lady that helped me said that she was looking at the ad and that the advertised price should be what was charged. Has anyone else had this problem?

I checked my ad, and I am unsure what the “Mega Sale” is. Are you by chance in SoCal?? There ads are different than the one I get. You are handling it right, by trying to figure out Also, if you aren’t happy with the price, you could return some or all of your items. It would be a pain, but at least you would get your money back

      • Anonymous says:

I think it is a SoCal. I just got off the phone with the main office, they are sending me a gift card for the $30 extra. And apologized that the add is not clear. I am ok fine with the gift card but not sure what to do with it. Maybe i will try a different Albertsons.

      • Anonymous says:

The AZ ad is much different, too. I took my list and only my needed coupons and came back with half of them. I don’t normally shop Albertson’s so I had a really hard time finding things – it’s like a maze! – and then, once I did, they weren’t on sale or not as good as the prices above. And, to make matters worse, I was so confused by the fact that my list was so off that I wasn’t watching the register. I’m pretty sure a few of the coupons didn’t go through.
        I think I’ll stick to my Fry’s/Kroger!

  4. I get 7 noticables febreze @ $2.99 each + a candy for $0.30 . I used 7 of the $3 off on Noticables Febrese coupon P&G ….. I paid $0.23 but I received $5 CATALINA! WHOOOOHO!

  5. Anonymous says:

albertsons have a sale on banana boat sunscreen for $4.79, use $4.00 coupon from coupons.com (not longer available) and you paid $0.79. What a deal!!!

  6. Tali says:

Krazy, all the prices for the cereal and other items that you have to buy 5 of (for them to be $1.88 each) isn’t correct. Since you can only use 3 dblrs in a transaction they are more expensive…..when I was a newbie I didn’t understand why it didnt work for me but now I check the math myself.

    • It depends on the combination of coupons you use. I was planning on doing this deal as follows:
      use (1) $0.50/1 Chex cereals/DOUBLED=$1.00/1 – total coupons – $1.00
      use (2) $1.00/2 Cheerios, any flavor/DOUBLED=$2.00/2 – total coupons – $4.00
      That means I’m purchasing 5 boxes of cereal @ $1.88 ea =$9.40 less $5.00 (coupons & doublers) = $4.40/ 5 = $0.88 ea.

  7. Dianne Buquet says:

In the San Diego area, the double coupons came in the mail earlier this week in the small Albertsons coupon booklet, the same day as the new ad was delivered. Of course our ad is usually different from the KCL one, but just a heads up to watch for the booklet in my area.

  8. Anonymous says:

It also mentions limit 2 per transaction on that P&G deal. So does that mean if I do one transaction $40 more participating products, will I get 2 – $5 cats?

    • Anonymous says:

I noticed that also. I take it to be exactly as you wrote, spend $40.00, get 2 $5 cats. But it would be more advantageous to keep it to $20.00 totals, especially when we get doubles on Sunday. If anyone tries this, please let us know.

  9. so should I wait till Sunday to shop? I have never done albertsons, so if I have 2 double coupons I can add them to my 1.00/3 general mills cereals and it will make it $2.00 off? and it will be $2.00 off the 1.88 x 5 (cereals) ??? A little confuse, any help would be great thanks

    • Anonymous says:

Yes definitely wait until Sunday!! It will make that coupon worth $2! The deal is in increments of 5 so you can use 1 coupon on 3 and then buy 2 more so that you get them each for $1.88. So it would be $1.88×5 minus $2 for your coupon. If you can find coupons that are .75 off 1, or 2 then that’s a better deal because you can get more off and use more coupons. But if that’s all you have then that will make an ok deal on cereal.

  10. how did you get 88cents for the crest?

    • Anonymous says:

She is using .88 each as the price after you factor in the $5 savings and coupons if you take advantage of that deal.

  11. Anonymous says:

Just wondering, does anyone know where I can get the General Mills Coupon booklet??
I have some that I got at a promotional event where you get tons of un advertised cpn;s, but this year they were holding back on giving out as they have before. This booklet has all kind of nice coupons from general mills brand only. All Coupons are for $1 off single item.
Would really love to get some more for cereal and more

  12. Brenda Duran says:

i’ve never shopped at albertson what the “double”? I tried looking at their coupon policy with no luck!

    • Anonymous says:

Every once and awhile they do a promo where you can get coupons in the Sunday paper in the Albertson’s ad. What those do is double any manufacturer coupons that you have. They only double coupons that are up to a $1 in value. So you can’t use any of your coupons that are more than a dollar and double them. But if you have a .75 coupon it would be $1.50 off instead with the Albertson’s double coupon. They do limit you to usually 3 per transaction, so you’ll have to split up your transactions or go back later.

  13. Anonymous says:

Woops-thought the comment didn’t post the first time. Sorry for the repeat.

  14. Anonymous says:

Don’t forget about the Bumble Bee tuna coupon from Recyclebank-save $1/2. Makes them $0.38 each or a money maker of $0.24 on two!!!

  15. Anonymous says:

Don’t forget the coupon at Recyclebank for save $1/2 cans of Bumble Bee tuna. Makes them $0.38 each or a money maker of $0.24 on two with doubler!!!

  16. srx2 says:

in my paper, for the save $5.00 when you purchase $20.00, it says “minimum purchase requirement calculated AFTER manufacturer coupons redeemed”. Does this mean that if we use coupons will still need to spend a minimum of 20 to get the 5 dollar coupon?

    • Anonymous says:

This has been my experience with Albertson’s. When there is a promotion (such as P&G), you have to spend $20 AFTER manufacturer’s coupons and tax in order to get the $5 off. Perhaps it is different for this deal as I have not looked in to it yet but I know from past experience that a catalina won’t print unless you spend $20 after Qs.

    • Anonymous says:

Yes, that is what the wording means. I have found that mine usually print using the before coupon total. You could always try it, if it doesn’t work, go return it, and re-buy it with more items added. I will let you know once I have made it there to try it.

      • Emily Marino says:

so then most of the deals that you listed will be inaccurate because they included the coupon off amount plus the $5 off amount for the total price correct?
