Mini Walmart Trip
Posted in: The Brag Lounge, Walmart // Comments (19)
Paid only $1.66 OOP. Price Matching at walmart has always been very easy for me. Never have complications. I went to get the disposable razors and of course they are out. Which in a way is a good thing because that means I shouldnt have any problems using the cpns right! Here is what I did:
4 Colgate Optic Toothpaste PM with Wags .98 ea (should have been .99 ea)
4 Colgate Optic Toothbrush PM with Wags .98 ea (again, should have been .99)
2 Mahatma Rice 1.16 ea
Connect 4 Game 4.50 (only one and actually had fallen behind all the games. Good thing I brought my toddlers or I may have missed it!)
Used 4 -$1 off Colgate Optic Toothbrush (expires today!)
Used 4 -$1 off Colgate Optic Toothpaste (expires today!)
Used 2 -.50 off Mahatma rice
Used 1 -$4 off Connect 4 game
Without the PM and cpns, I would have paid $30.50. I saved 95%. YAY!
My first official money maker!
Posted in: CVS, The Brag Lounge // Comments (1)
I’m still kinda new to couponing. And I’m especially new to couponing at drug stores. But I had to post this one because it made me leave the store with a smile! ![]()
2 Popcorn Indiana Kettlecorn Popcorn $2.49 ea
used 2 $1.00 off 1
Progresso canned soup 4/$5
used CVS coupon $1 off 4 and stacked it with a Mfr coupon $1off 4
ThermaCare heat wrap $3.79
came with ECB $3.79 when you buy 1
2 Colgate Optic White Toothpaste $2.99
came with $1.00 ECB when you buy 1 (limit 2)
used 2 Mfr coupons $1.50 off 1
Total: $19.75. Had a coupon for $4 off a $20 purchase. (which the cashier allowed me to use, even through I didn’t think he would)
After coupons paid $8.92.
I then asked the cashier if I could use my ECB from a previous purchase towards this one, and he said no. But he did take my $8 ECB and give me $8 cash. (not sure if this was legal or not)
So assuming that my transaction was legit, I paid 92 cents OOP and got back $5.79 in ECB. A $4.87 money maker! woohoo!!
