I tryed all the recommended zip codes and it’s not there??? I’m in MI…don’t understand..are they gone or?

Awesome! I couldn’t find my from the sunday paper a couple of weeks ago. Now I can get this deal. Thanks KCL!

I’m new at this so this may sound stupid, but….I enter the zip which is not my zip, find the coupon and print it twice and the question is….I can still use it in my zip area? why are these by zip anyway?

Reply

Yes, you can. I’m not sure why they have different zip codes.

Can I use the Ricola Dual Action BOGO coupon + 2 Ad coupons making them $1.29 + 2 $.5/1 from Wags Oct. booklet to get these two items for $.145 each? I know I’ll probably need filler items, just not sure how much of them =S

Reply

Yes, that is correct and no you would not need a filler.

Thank you KCL!
I actually just reviewed how to shop at Walgreen again (it’s kind of confusing hehe) and realized only MFR coupons (which include RR´s) should be equal to the number of items purchased. I couldn’t remember if store coupons counted too, thankfully they don’t =)

NOTE: This is great to use instead of the B1G1 coupon in the paper because people are running into issues with the Dual Action variety. The Instant Value Coupon is not taking off for the Dual Action variety at all.

Reply

The coupon should take the dual off since the WAG in store ad coupon listed regular and Dual. At least mine does in CA. If it doesn’t take it off then you should speak to a manager and they can manually fix it. Hope this helps.

$1.29? That’s the reg one, not the mixed berry. That’s like $2.29.

Still a little confused on the Walgreens policy – would you need to buy two items or three items to use all three coupons?

Reply

Just one item. You can use all three coupons on one item.

I found under 10032 just now

you can print the .50 cent off coupon on the walgreens website !!!

now my question is “with in ad coupon” do you stack that with the other 2 coupons as well ??? ive never coupon at walgreens before !

hello, since its a coupon in the weekly ads, can it be combined with the booklet coupon for that final price, I know the manufacturer will be added but since 2coupons are from walgreens.

Reply

Yes, you can use more than 1 Walgreens coupon.

okay so I just went and did this, but was only able to get 3 for $.75, not the .19 deal. I went in with the B1G1 Q, the .60 Q, the 1.29 from the W ad, and the .50/1 Q from October W booklet. I originally was just trying to buy 2, but the cashier said I needed one more in order to use all the Q’s, so I bought three and the total was $.75. Anyone want to tell me exactly what I did wrong? SO confused.

Reply

The b1g1 coupon is probably attached to both items so it would be like it is 2 coupons. You are only allowed 1 manufacturer coupon per item. The cashier was right when he/she said you needed to add another item to use all three coupons.

You need an an equal item-coupon ratio at Walgreens. if you have more coupons then items, the register beeps–you probably didn’t need to by another bag, just needed a filler item or two.

Reply

A good filler item this week are the 6/$1 Halloween pencils. ~17 cents each. Makes a good halloween treat bag stuffer or donate a bunch that you collected to your nearby school :)

Reply

I did this deal on Sunday and I only paid 18¢ for all 4 bags with my b1g1 coupons.

Reply

can you use the the coupon from the walgreens book and the add coupon at the same time isnt that two store coupons?

Reply

According to Walgreens coupon policy you can. This is what is says:

When purchasing a single item, Walgreens accepts one manufacturer coupon and applicable Walgreens coupon(s) for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer.

Reply

Last the manager said the new company policy stated they can only take one Walgreens coupon? I looked the policy up online and nothing is stated. He said I had to either choose the in ad coupon or the book coupon, but could not use both. Anyone else have this problem??

Reply

My Walgreens has no issue when I use both.

Reply

No problem with the 5 Walgreens around me.
One of the managers in the 5 locations used to say that to me, but after education of their own coupon policy and examples from the Walgreens Ads, he finally doesn’t say anything to me anymore.

Persistence, patience, and outreach my fellow couponer! :)

Reply

That’s incorrect information. Walgreens will accept both their In-Ad and their Instant Value Coupons together.

If you run into that issue again, politely ask them to just remove the items from the transaction and try the deal at a different Walgreens.

My question is are the supplement drops and cough drops the same thing?

Reply

Yes same thing in this case. These have Vit C in them, so not just a basic cough drop.

the dual actions at wags ring as $1.99 and the 20 counts as $2.99
-2.99 (B1G1 coupon)
-$1.90 (Wags coupons in ad)
-1.00 (october booklet)
so money maker?

(the coupon in the add only took off for the not dual action at my wags:/ & the lady only did the 1.99 for the coupon:/ but it was still an okay price at at .29 for two)

Reply

This is what I was planning on doing this week. Even getting them for .15 cents a bag is still an awesome deal!

Reply

lucky u
I use all 3 coupons same as you for 2 bags of ricola. The sales was label $1.99 for it too on the shelf but the cash register was not. I end up paying $3.15 with tax for 2 bags of Ricola. The dual action was 2.79 and so far they had not deducted nothing for the dual action but for the second one that was $2.49 was only free with all three coupons. So because i no complaint nor do the math until now I pay $12.60 for 8 bags with 4 transactions. I think now it was expensive and I should have brought the ricola some where else.

Reply

You could also use this at Rite Aid this week. Ricola is 2/$3 on sale, plus you get a $1 +up when you buy two. You’d end up paying $.40 per bag! Since you can do that deal up to 4 times, that seems like a good stock-up price if you have access to print enough coupons.

I can’t find it – is it gone already? Or under a certain zip code?

Where is the b1g1 at?

Reply

B1G1 is from the 10/2 insert I believe

Reply

Isn’t there also a b1g1 coupon out as well?

Reply

Yes there is. I got them with that deal, however the cashier would only take $1.29 off, but I got two for 14 cents.
