I am in CT and they had the huggies here but some stores have them in diaper section and others with holiday items. I had to look behind other diapers at times to find some. they apparently had wipes too but we never got them here.

My local CVS had Nice ‘N Easy hairdye on sale for $3.99 (only select colors, others ranged from 4.99-8.99) and in the 01/01 newspaper there was a $3.00/1 coupon… which made it only $0.99 out of pocket… and you get a $2.00 Extrabuck reward which makes it a $1 money maker!

  15. Anonymous says:

Does anyone know if the Pantene Hair Gel is on this deal? I know it lists select stylers. I’m really completely stocked up on shampoo/conditioner, so if the hair styling products aren’t on this, I think I am going to have to restrain myself and let this deal pass. thx!

  16. Anonymous says:

With CVS, it’s a little more difficult to stockpile mass quantites, even though they have great deals! Every purchase with CVS is tied to your extracare card, so once a deal limit has been reached for the week. it will not trigger another one. The only way I could think around this is to have a 2nd extracare card, which I do not recommend. I’m pretty sure it’s frowned upon and you would have to keep everything seperate (only can use coupons triggered from one card with the same card, etc.) Would be way too confusing. I wouldn’t really worry about it though. CVS has great deals all the time, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it is that the item will go on sale again! CVS doesn’t stock mass quantities either so these limits help ensure there is enough stock for all shoppers (even though they usually still run out..lol) I know it’s not really a solution to your question…

  17. i checked my mailbox today, received my dove sample, which came with 1 dollar off any dove haircare(my cvs also has one of their dove shine boost shampoo on sale for 1.12!) i bought a few of these on sunday because my store didnt have the skinny cow boxes i planned for so i needed to use my extra bucks since they are a great price! but with the dollar off coupon, .12 cents for dove shampoo! again, i love cvs!

  18. my cvs had their aussie mend and cleanse shampoo on sale for .99! what a great deal with the $1 off aussie/herbal essences coupon! i love cvs!

It absolutely will work. I did the same deal myself and it worked perfectly. Now, first pay for the slim fast. Then the coupon will print at the end of the receipt for the free scale, so you will buy the scale second and use the coupon making it free but you will havee to pay like $0.72 tax depending on your tax rate.

  20. Darn…I just did a double check through my inserts and there wasn’t any coupons for slimfast :( I guess here in Az we are out of luck

Kinda new to couponing. Can I use the cvs reinventing beauty coupons along with manufacturer coupons? Is there a limit to how many of the beauty coupons I can use in the same transaction?

Any idea what part of the store the reinventing beauty is in?

    Thanks so much!!

    • Anonymous says:

It is usually available at the main entrance near the ads. You can use as many coupons as you like as long as it is only one manufacturer and one store coupon per item. There is no limit of coupons per transaction as well. On top of that you can also use any extra care bucks and dollar off coupons you may have received from CVS ( $5.00 off of $25.00 and such ). Good luck couponing :) You will love CVS.

        • Anonymous says:

I am not at all sure, but I think you can only use it once. After I use that type of coupon, it usually shows up as “used” in my account, but I think they allow you to print it more than once in case you lose it.

Is anyone willing to trade some coupons for their P&G Pantene $3/2? I have been waiting for a sale and to receive the P&G ad (haven’t since oct or dec) and I have no stock and I’m running out. I will trade pretty much any coupons for these as long as I have them. Please let me know if you are interested!

  31. Anonymous says:

So, I have a question… Can I mix and match the sale items that are towards the $10 CVS gift card when i spend $30. Example. Always pads are 2/$6, can I just buy one Always pads at $3 and will it still add up to the $30 total? Or what about the Pantene just buying one for $3.33 instead of getting all three of them???????

    • I looked on this deals conversation hoping that someone asked this question and it was the very latest question. I want to know this also. Has anyone had any luck with this?

    • Anonymous says:

Yes you can buy just one and it will count toward your $30. Just like any other time, 2 for $6 rarely means you have to buy 2.

    • If you buy one it will still add to the $30 total, but you might not get it for the price you think. Sometimes the sales that require you to buy 2 don’t let you buy 1 for half the price. For example, an item might be on sale for 2/$6 but it might ring the first one up full price, say $4.99 and the second one for the balance, $1.01. I’m not saying that’s definitely the case with the Always, but I run into it a lot. Just FYI!

    • Anonymous says:

Yes, you can definitely mix and match. As long as your total is $30.00 you should receive your gift card.

  34. My hubby likes expensive pens, and I noticed that the Pilot G2 pens are 2 for 5 and part of the cash card deal. The ad shows the 2 pack (retail 3.59) but says 2-5 pack. Nothing was marked, so I scanned one of the 5 packs (retail 7.79) and couldn’t believe it was 2 for 5! Walmart has 4-packs of these for 4.97, or 1.25/pen. If you bought 12 5-packs and got the cash card, it would be $20 or 33 cents/pen! Or you could combine with other items and coupons like I did.

    • Yes, it comes off your initial total before coupons, cash card, everything. I used my 5/25 and 3/15 baby care on the Pampers. Paid 8.65 for Pampers box, 2 Pantene shampoo, and 2 5-pack pens.

  45. Another blogger posted that Skinny Cow Candys are B1G1 Free this week, and Walmart has a coupon online that is also good for B1G1. They claimed that both would become free. Somehow I don’t think that would be the case, has anybody ever done a deal like this and have it work?

    • Anonymous says:

I am wondering the same thing…Maybe you can get two free since you are paying for one?

    • Anonymous says:

If the skinny cow is BOGO in your region and you had the coupon then they would both be free. The reason being that the computer will automatically take the BOGO and then the cashier will scan the coupon making them both free.

    • Anonymous says:

Wondering if anyone has tried it yet?

Are you talking about the skinny cow deal? I tried it and it worked.

        • Tina says:

I tried it! We got both for free (or at least close to free considering the coupon is only up to 3.48 and the sale is BOGO at $4.99 – but still – 75 cents a box is pretty good!)!! But, I have been seeing on other blogs that it depends on the CVS whether or not they accept the BOGO coupon making them both free – so I e-mailed them. The response I got from Janine at CVS Customer Relations is that they DO accept the coupon with the BOGO sale – you would only have to pay the applicable taxes. The reference number for this information and e-mail is: 1603527. Hope that helps!! It’s a great deal!!

Also – even if not marked for the BOGO deal, I would ask. It wasn’t marked where we were and was not in the circular, but sure enough it rang up that way at the cashier. Never hurts to ask! =)
