  1. I now read others have had the same encounter of different prices. I’m going to have to start checking prices before I spend my ink and paper printing coupons I can’t use. :-(

  2. What state are you in? I just went to Target and this item is $4.89 at my Target.

It seems like people are finding different soda on sale at different stores. But be sure to scan the item before you give up. Often times I find that Target hasn’t marked all of the products on sale.

In my area it is 3/$10 coke products not Dr. Pepper.

Went to SuperTarget yesterday hoping to use these coupons on Dr. Pepper & Sunkist, well the Dr. Pepper/Diet Dr. Pepper/Cherry Dr. Pepper were all on sale for just $2.99 so I got them for $1.99 each after coupon! Didn’t get any sunkist or 7-up, though, as they weren’t as good of a deal. (I’m in Nebraska)

Is Dr. Pepper a “Coke product”? That’s what’s advertised as 3/$10 in my ad, but when I was at Target earlier this week I didn’t see any sale signs under the Dr. Pepper. I should have scanned it to be sure!

    • Dr. Pepper is not a Coke Product. It is it’s own company. They make several other products including 7-up, A&W and even Snapple believe it or not. They are all part of the same conglomeration now.

Dr. Pepper has contracts, mostly with Pepsi, but some with Coke, to bottle their product and market it in different locations. That’s why it’s usually on sale with Pepsi products, but in some areas it goes on sale with Coke products.

Does anyone know what you do when you are trying to print the target coupons and they don’t print but they say they have? Any suggestions?

I don’t see the $1coupon for Dr. Pepper. Is it gone?

    • Edie Webster says:

I haven’t printed it yet to confirm if it’s the same one, but I went to the grocery tab, and there was a coupon on the first page for $1 off “Select 6-pk. 0.5-lt. bottled or 12-pk. canned soda”, and it shows a picture of a 6 pack of Canada Dry and a case of 7-up. :)

  9. I was at Target today and the Diet Dr. Pepper was $4.59, which is apparently the awful regular price. I guess diet isn’t included. :(

    • I did this on Sunday… not sure about Diet Dr Pepper, but the Diet Cherry Dr Pepper was on sale. Used the coupon on that.

I also just did this deal and the Diet Dr Pepper were included in on the deal.

        • Weird. It’s either unadvertised at my store or they’re not participating. I’m going to have to go back and do a scan. I LOVE Diet Dr. Pepper. Best tasting diet pop there is. :)

Well it looked like that the Diet Dr. Pepper was not on sale at mine but I ask the Coke guy that was putting more out! Then I scanned it! Yes it is a great tasting diet drink!

The last time I went I picked up the Throwback Pepsi, which wasn’t marked as on sale, but it rang up at the sale price. They don’t always put hang tags on everything that’s on sale.

@ Jessica. That stinks. We have coke 2/$5 with $10 GC after $30. I LUV diet dr pepper and that would have been a great deal. $2.33 is still a good deal, but I wonder if they will go even lower before the cp expires.

    • The Ad for this week states that it works on select Coke products 2/$5 with the Gift Card, however, if you actually go to the store, you will find that Dr. Pepper and Diet Dr. Pepper are also included in this deal. They have the same tag on the shelf and they worked just the same. It ends up being $1.67 per 12-pack if you buy 12 using the gift card deal (before tax).

This is the list of sodas that my CVS had included in this deal:
      Coke
      Cherry Coke
      Sprite
      Sprite Zero
      Coke Zero
      Diet Coke
      Dr. Pepper
      Diet Dr. Pepper

      Hope that helps!

    • what Katie said :) there are more flavors to choose from once u actually get in the store

Are any of the other sodas on sale for the same price?

  12. At CVS these are part of the 2 for $5 deal plus qualifies for the $10 cash card. Lucky for us in Nevada no tax or CRV :)
