I’ve used a neti pot before and it’s great, especially for a stuffy nose or sinus infection. And I always use tap water & have never had a bacteria travel to my brain.

If anyone uses this netti pot, please make sure you use distilled water or boiled water, NOT directly from the sink as I heard that there’s parasites in faucet water that has a “brain eating parasites” that travels from the nose to the brain…people have die from this…check it out on youtube..Be careful!!!

Yes, it says right in the directions to use purified water. I have been using a Neti Pot for a few years after it was recommended by my doctor when I was having multiple sinus infections per year. Things have been much better since using it, and it’s definitely better than having to be put on antibiotics all the time!!

Yes, very dangerous if used improperly.

  9. I liked the page (for the first time) and ….nothing. I sent them an email. I guess we will see what happens.

    I was a bit disappointed.
