Since they are bogo with the coupon.. would u buy 12 deodorants at 1.99 then use the bogo coupon and still get the reward bucks?  i am so confused over this couponing….  I was told someone went into cvs also and they said they wouldn’t honor it.. but if its in the ad they have to honor it.  the 1.99 plus the bogo .. i’m very confused over all this

Spotted at Cvs tonight:many clearance speed stick up to 75% off. Mens speedstick gel in fresh scent only $1.09. Will the coupon still take off $3.99? Not sure but may be worth a shot if you have the opportunity to try it.

I had to get a raincheck for the Lady Speed Stick.  Am I correct that if the product is not restocked before the end of the sale I won’t be able to get the $6 ECB when spending $12?

    • Anonymous says:

If you get a raincheck for this deal you will get the ECBs and pricing for this sale when you present the raincheck with your items and coupons. That’s why you get rainchecks so you don’t miss the sale. And the great thing about CVS is their rainchecks don’t expire :) HTH!

  4. RowdysMom says:

Had to get a raincheck on Sunday.  They ran out Sunday afternoon at my CVS and the checker said they don’t get their next load Friday night so that means that it won’t be stocked until Saturday morning – the last day of the ad.  My local CVS is a little frustrating sometimes.  They don’t order enough product ALOT!  Oh well, can’t beat the deals.

Bought 2 Soft Soap body washes ($1 off ea MQ), 1 Colgate toothpaste ($1 off MQ), 1 Irish Spring body wash ($1 off MQ) & 8 Speed Sticks (3 BOGO MQ for $3.99 credit ea). Used $1.87 in EB, Paid just over $11, & got $12 in EB! Now I plan to send in the Colgate-Palmolive Rebate from the Atlanta Journal on Sunday & make a $5 profit ($5 rebate when you spend $10). I feel like I hit the jackpot today! I made sure my receipt totalled $10 so I would qualify for the rebate, but would they have accepted it based on the retail/sale price of the items before coupons?

  6. Laura B says:

If I have to split it into two different transactions on two different days (only remembered to take 1 coupon the first day), will I still get the $6.00 extra bucks (via cumulative total vs single transaction total)?

  7. Anonymous says:

There is a rebate on the back of the speed stick sheet from colgate for $5 if you spend $10 on selected products…..speed sitck is one of them…that makes the deal at cvs even better.

  8. Anonymous says:

At the back of the of the speed stick sheet is a rebate from colgate for $5 if you spend $10 on selected products…and speed stick is one of them.

  9. Anonymous says:

It is not available online only from the paper and it was a regional coupon.

  10. Anonymous says:

That is too bad. I find it odd that some stores are different :) Mine will print automatically within $0.15 cents.

  11. Anonymous says:

I live in Miami, FL and at ALL of our CVS stores if you have any shortage even a penny your ECB will NOT print. However, I purchased 8 Speedstick deodorants and was credited $3.99 for each free one when using the B1G1 free coupon. I would question any CVS that did take off the full regular price of the free item as when they turn that coupon in to the manufacturer – CVS will recieve the full amount back – not their sale price.

    • Anonymous says:

Very true! They could receive the full $3.99 back. My CVS store prints the ECB within $0.15 so i have no idea why each store is set different but they are which is sad.

  12. This didn’t work for me the way it is listed…It actually turned into a moneymaker…I purchased 8 Antiperspirant/Deodorant paid .77 & received $6.00 ECB so i made $5.23!!! Whoop Whoop

  13. Anonymous says:

I’m new to CVS and couponing in general. I have a question- since it says limit 2 can you purchase 12 at the same time, use 6 coupons and have 12 ECB print? Well I guess it would be two 6 ECB, or does it have to be in separate transactions?

    • Anonymous says:

First check to see if there is a limit on the BOGO coupon (don’t have it). If there’s a limit of four, break up your transactions. If the coupon doesn’t have a limit, ring it all up together. Either way purchases are tracked by your card and the reward will print once it’s earned.

    • Anonymous says:

Yes, you could purchase 12 at once but you want to come OOP less so I would definitely seperate transactions :)

    • Sravani K says:

If its one transaction it will print one 12 ECB not 2 6 ECBs.

  14. Anonymous says:

I was lucky enough to get some Speed Sticks (after EB) today for free but not as moneymakers. My cashier scanned my first Q and it deducted $3.99. He voided the entire transaction and manually inputted $1.99 for each of my Qs so no moneymaker for me but I’m still glad I got them for free. :) CVS has tons of great deals this week! YAY!!

  15. Anonymous says:

cvs takes off 3.99 here for the free lady speed stick. so thats 6 dollars more than expected and I got the EB for 6 woot woot. I love cvs deals

  16. I did 2 rounds of this at my cvs. the first round wih a regular cashier, the coupons took off 1.99 each. the second round the mgr rang me up and the coupons took off 3.99 twice and the third 3.96. same store….different results! Im not complaining…but it was just interesting! now rebate time! :)

  17. Leo says:

Where can we find the coupon from SS?

  18. Anonymous says:

I just used 2 coupons at Walmart for the Lady Speed stick. Bought 2. Used B1G1 and the $1.00 off 2. Regular price is .94. actually got both free with .06 moneymaker.

  19. Does anyone have an extra MIR coupon that I could have? I didn’t get one. I would really appreciate it.

  20. Gwendell says:

I’m new to the coupon world. The Lady speed stick. What does ss mean? Is it Sunday Sent

  21. Anonymous says:

Here in Indiana, last night i went and it took off full price. $3.99 per coupon. since i used 4 coupons, i paid $3.84 but had a $3 ecb already so really paid only 84 cent cash and got back $6 ECB. than turned around and did the same with the irish spring and used 4 coupons and only paid $1.07. i used the $6 from 1st trans. Ended up with out of pocket .$1.91 and went away with $6 ECB. Man i love cvs.

  22. I can’t find the MIR in my SS but I did get the coupon for B1G1 Speed Stick. Can someone tell me where it is exactly?

  23. Danielle Laroff says:

At my CVS the total actually came to only $0.72 (and that was the tax) + my 6 dollar reward bucks, so it turned out to be a money maker for me =) I’m not sure how it worked out like that, but I was pleasantly surprised.

  24. Anonymous says:

Anyone have an extra MIR they would like to share? Didn’t get it in my area.

  25. Anonymous says:

Didn’t get the coupon in my paper after spending $6 on papers just for this deal. So far couponing has cost me money =( Anyone in SE MI know where I can find it?

  26. Laurian Newell says:

Look also for the Colgate BHM Rebate form for $5 back off a $10.00 purchase in one transaction. My CVS took off the full value for my coupons, so it was a $6 MM + I’ll get $5 back on the Rebate, so it’s a totoal of $11 MM!

    • Since this deal has a limit of 2, can I do a MIR for myself and do a 2nd MIR for my mom/sis? I’m buying some for the family and some for a friend.

Also, is there a type on the MIR? One date says you have to buy between 1/30-3/15 and then under number 2, it says register receipt dated between 1/29/12-3/15/12. I’m confused!

How do I give them UPC info? Just write all the numbers down?

      Thank you!

      • I want to know about this as well!!! I already mailed off my rebate, but then I noticed (on my photocopy) that it is showing the different dates! I bought my Lady Speed Sticks on Sunday. :(

      • Anonymous says:

Wish I could help but I did not receive the rebate. And yes, you could send it two rebates for different addresses as long as you have seperate receipts.

    • Anonymous says:

      Awesome :)

  27. I did this, and my CVS took off 3.99 each coupon :) so it was a money maker.

  28. can someone please tell me what part of the paper this coupon is in???? the only coupon i can seem to find for these are the Walgreens ones…..please help

  29. WOW. My CVS in Pittsburgh, PA had tons of these. So I got 6, using 3 of the B1G1 Free coupons and it took of 3.99 for each coupon!!! I got 6 for free then add in the $6 EB and it was a $6 MM!!! Yay for free deodorant!!

  30. Anonymous says:

My CVS took off the full up to price of $3.99 so the was a great money maker for me!

  31. Anonymous says:

My CVS took off the max up to price of $3.99 so the was a graet money maker for me!

  32. Anonymous says:

My CVS took off the max value of $3.99 so this one ended up being a money maker for me!!

  33. The Speed Stick was also a MM for me…the first 2 coupons took $3.99 off and the cashier adjusted the 3rd coupon…i only paid tax!!

  34. I just came back from my CVS and this was a MM for me. I paid .90(taxes) out of pocket and they gave me back 6.00 in ECB. I made $ 5.10!

  35. Cyndi Taylor says:

I got $3.99 per coupon off (the max amount on the coupon) so I didn’t pay for ANY of the deodorants PLUS got the Extra Bucks!

  36. Dear KCL,

Since this deal has a limit of 2, can I do a MIR for myself and do a 2nd MIR for my mom/sis? I’m buying some for the family and some for a friend. Wish Dove had deals like this….it’s the only one I can use.

Also, is there a type on the MIR? One date says you have to buy between 1/30-3/15 and then under number 2, it says register receipt dated between 1/29/12-3/15/12. I’m confused!

How do I give them UPC info?

    Thank you!

    • Anonymous says:

I was really excited to see the MIR to add to my deal, my CVS automatically took off $3.99 for each coupon so this made a great deal for us. I read over the MIR and as long as your mom/sis don’t live in the same house as you, you should be fine. For the UPC info portion, I peeled up the UPCs, cut them off, and affixed them to a piece of paper. They all came off very easily!

      Good Luck!

    • Anonymous says:

I would mail and peel the UPC and yes, you could do one for you and your mom if you are at different addresses. As for the wording in the rebate, I can’t help because I did not receive the rebate myself :(

  37. Cody says:

    Question:
If I use 2 B1G1 speedstick coupons (1.99 original price) and 2 $1 off colgate coupons (2.74 original price) would I still get the $6 in extrabucks? I couldn’t find any more B1G1 coupons… that is why I am asking.

  38. Anonymous says:

My Smart Source in my paper didn’t have a Lady Speed Stick coupon :( Did I miss something?

  39. Tina Brooks says:

    I didn’t get this coupon…. :(

  40. Anonymous says:

if I buy 8 to 1.99 = 15.92 and received the rewards of 6 dolls total and 1.24 per each

  41. I have two coupons right now and I’ll get one more on Thurs….Can I go and get 4 deodorants right now and then get 2 more on Thurs and get the $6 ECBs on Thurs? THANKS KCL! This deal is awesome! I wouldn’t have known about this if it was for you!

  42. SS = Smart Source insert

  43. Is there a limit to how many times we can do this deal? It wasn’t in the ad.

  44. Claudia says:

I live in california. I saw the upsoming deal on the lady speed stick deoderants so I have decided to start trying to coupons. I get the paper this weekend and there is no coupon for this great deal. So i bought another ad just to see if mine is missing it & again nothing. Can anyone help plz.

    • Anonymous says:

I live in cali too and did not find the coupon either, it must be regional. I get two papers, Los Angeles Times and Press Enterprise. Don’t get discourage, sometimes not all the deals are for everybody, but if you just start couponing you’ll have another chance to get more deals. 8)-l-<

    • b cast says:

NorCal here, the town next to us gets better coupons than our paper. If possible, try checking your supermarket for different papers if they carry them. ie: SF Chronicle has all the inserts whereas our local paper only carries PG & RP. SS is mailed to us instead, and thats not always certain. Anyway, doesn’t hurt to look since you can check without buying.

    • Anonymous says:

I live in so cal myself. I don’t know if I got the coupon yet, because I thought I wasn’t going to be interested in this deal. But I know how frustrating it is to miss out because you don’t have the right coupon. What I found out shortly after starting to coupon is that it all evens out. There will always be more deals than you know what to do with. If you miss one that looked really exciting, just keep an eye out for more coupons because a better deal may come along or the coupon may become available on the internet. Sometimes I have to smile because my regional coupons are even better that the coupons that are listed in the deal posts. You will find that you will get so much free and cheap stuff that you can even skip some deals and you will have so much that you feel really confident sharing with family and friends. You will have the confidence that there will always be more. Congratulations on getting interested in couponing! Don’t give up!

    • Central cali did not get this coup

    • Anonymous says:

The frustrating part is that coupons are regional. You checked the SMart Source insert right?

  45. My CVS in Houston took the full value off this morning! $6 money maker!! :)

  46. Anonymous says:

What does ss stand for in the b1g1 free speed stick offer?

  47. Anonymous says:

what does ss stand for for the b1g1 coupon for the speed stick?

  48. Anonymous says:

My CVS’s ad says nothing about the spend $12 get $6 deal Is this regional? It only says ALL Speed Stick or Lady Speed Stick for $1.99 on page 3.

  49. Sravani K says:

Did anyone saw the MIR for colgate-palmolive in the 1/29 inserts? I couldnt find it in my inserts :( (I get the JI Weekend edition which has sunday inserts)

  50. Amy Sinner says:

My CVS has these on clearance for 97 cents right now…what triggers the ECB?

    • Anonymous says:

Almost all the Speedsticks at my CVS are on clearance for between $0.97 and $1.07. There is only like two that are not on clearance. I wonder if I’ll get the EB even though I know it says excludes clearance.

    • Anonymous says:

You should get it because I purchase some clearance ones and it triggered the ECD. You just have to spend $12.00 before coupons :)

  51. Chantal says:

    Nevermind I dug a little deeper I see…Thanks

  52. Chantal says:

Where in the ad is this deal because I don’t see the lady speed stick linked to the ECB just the $1.99 price?

  53. Carmen says:

Because it is limit 2, can I the Irish Spring deal and this one in the same transaction – thus getting $12 in EB?

  54. Since your total after coups isn’t $12 do you still get the $6 extra bucks. Does it give it to you for your total before coups?

  55. Lisa King says:

not sure if thats the same thing though, lol

  56. Rebekah Finn says:

Does CVS accept a B1G1 free coupon along with a cents off coupon? I can’t remember.

  57. mbcc5 says:

It always makes me a little nervous when its a few cents short.

  58. Does the coupon list an “up to” price? My CVS always takes off the full amount, so if it’s more than $1.99 it would be a MM.

    • Anonymous says:

My CVS always takes off the lesser of regular price or “up to” amount. But there is one CVS that I go to sometimes that always use the “up to” amount regardless of the regular price.

    • Anonymous says:

Just got the coupon. Maximum value $3.99. Excludes .5 oz trial size. Limit 1 coupon per purchase of product and quantity stated. No more than 4 coupons for the same product in same transaction.

    • Anonymous says:

If your CVS takes full value than it could be :)

      • Ruth Polillo says:

I just did the deal at my CVS and they always take off the max amount plus I went to the magic coupon machine that printed me a coupon for $2.00 off any 2 deodorants.  LOVE THAT DEAL!!!!!!!!  PAID zero for everything.
