The coupon did not print for me, I think its because I’m at work BOOOO

  2. KCL can you please include in the scenario the PRICE OUT OF POCKET then subtract the catalinas to get the total of $4.78 or $2.39 each

    • Anonymous says:

      5.99 x2 = 11.98 – (2) .60/1 = $10.78 – $2 from wags book = 8.78 oop but you get a $4 rr = $4.78 for 2 or $2.39 ea.  hope this helps

went to wags today & got 4 packs of the viva PT at $5.99 – (4) .85/1 q – $4 from book – $8 rr  they came out to .35/per roll.  good deal

can anybody help me out…I just went into my walgreens i bought 2 viva 6 ct rolls…I used the WQ for $1 off any viva papertowels…then I tried to use a coupon from a smart source I had…it said “save $1 on any 2 or more rolls of viva paper towels big rolls”  They told me I couldn’t use two of those coupons on the 2-6packs that I bought…am I reading the coupon wrong or should i have been able to use both MQ’s?

    • Anonymous says:

Did they even try to scan it? It does have different wording on the actual coupon but it should still be accepted when scanned. My cashier noticed the wording didnt match the product either but he scanned it and it went thru fine.

      • Jessica says:

they did try to scan it n she said there was nothing she could do about it b/c it said u had to buy 2 or more…but if im buying more then two in the 6 pack wouldn’t that count as 2 or more?

    • Anonymous says:

The coupon is for 2 rolls or more.

  5. I am so behind on this stuff this week. lots of b-days and graduation stuff coming up, so I have been out of the loop. Can someone pls tell me. Does this print a catalina to buy more paper towles or a Register reward. I have the 85 cents off one coupon and if I figured correctly it will be 35 cents a roll after the rr, but if it is a catalina I will have to use it on the next purchase of viva towels right?

  6. Anonymous says:

This deal worked out great at my walgreens! I purchased the two 6pks with the $0.50/1 Qs and they took $1 off each pack from the walgreens Q. Plus I got the printed RR for $4. Great deal, thanks KCL!

    • Ruth Ma says:

Hi, may I know where did u do the deal? I tried yesterday and it won’t work and it was working on Mon. I was wondering if this deal is over.

      • Anonymous says:

I did this deal yesterday at a walgreens in san jose. My friend got the same deal at a different walgreens, so they should all work.

  7. I am in Southern Indiana and no rr printed, we never get the good unadvertised rr’s.

  8. Lisa X. Yang says:

Hmm… Would Scott Naturals be a better deal? Here’s the breakdown:

    $5 Scott Naturals 6 rolls
    Use:
$1/1 Scott Naturals in March or April Monthly coupon book
$1/1 any four or more rolls of Scott Towels

Final price: $3 for 6 rolls = $0.50 per roll

  9. Oompa Benia says:

The coupon says, “on any one or more rolls of Viva paper towels BIG ROLLS” (both online and SS coupon), the ones that are on sale are REGULAR ROLLS.

  10. Daisy Ocampo says:

Hi All, is this deal advertised in this weeks ad ?

  11. Did this the other day and it worked.  Today I did it and got all the way home and realized my Register Reward didn’t print.  Is there a catalina number I can call to get it mailed to me or am I just out of luck?

    • Anonymous says:

You may be out of luck. I would double-check with your Walgreens to see if they’ve noticed ANY printing at all. Narrow it down to whether it might be a printing issue, or something else. Worst-case, you could return your purchase :)

  12. Is the $4 a register reward that can be used on anything or does it have to be used on another 2 6 packs of viva?

    • Anonymous says:

It can be used on anything, If you try and use it on Viva again another Regisert Reward will not print however you can use it on other items to produce more RR’s or anything you’d like hope this helps :)

  13. Anonymous says:

The $.50/1 printable coupons from vivatowels.com have unique codes, and will only allow you to print 2. However, if you open it with in-private browser (CTR+SHIFT+P in Internet Explorer), you can print as many as you want.

Does anyone know if the RR for these are rolling?

    • Anonymous says:

      BTW. This works in Dallas.

I still have 8 packages of the Bounty 6-packs from last summer’s Staples $3 off coupon deal. But I figured that deal was an anomaly and this is actually pretty good. Here’s a comparison:

Bounty 6-pack (from last summer): 190.6 total sf, $1.99 = $0.01044 per sf
Viva two 6-packs (this deal): 438 total sf, $4.98 = $0.01137 per sf

The Viva is not as good as last year’s Bounty deal, but it’s still really good. The 6-pack of Viva is noticeably heavier than the Bounty, hence the difference in sf.

  14. Lina says:

I have an 85 cent coupon off ANY one viva roll….I dont know how i got it, or where it came from, but i have it..

  15. Christi Hughes says:

Did it just fine in Pittsburgh, PA.  We received 85 cent coupons in our SS ;-)
    $4.99 x 2 = 9.98 -1.70 (in mfg coupons) =  $8.28 and got a $4 RR.  so $4.28 for 2 or $2.14 each.  So 36 cents per roll.

  16. I ended up getting 4 pks for approx .45 cents (w/tax) a roll. My first  trasnaction a  2- 6pks purchase: 4.99 X 2= Approx. $10.87 (w/tax) used 2 – $1 coups out of wal mag. Then got $4 RR back. 2nd purchase I got 2 pks and used a $3 RR from something else and used 2-$1 coups from waI mag OOP 8.09 (w/tax) got back another $4 RR. Total with tax I spent approx $10.96 or so for 24 rolls. So approx .45 per roll! Which is outstanding for Viva!!! I’m happy with my deal!

  17. No RR printed in WI. I wonder what states are getting them?

  18. Leah Wolber says:

A question for KCL (or anyone else who could answer this)–I follow your stock up price list, and if I am correct, this is a 3 month stock up price.  Does that mean, when you’re out or running low on paper towels, or does that mean buy enough to last you 3 months, even if you have 20 already?  I want to take advantage of this, but already have paper towels to last for a year.  Advice?

    • Ashley Black says:

When I already have enough of an item to last a year I let that sale pass.  Sales will come around again and its nice to let someone else get that deal who needs it more now than you do. BTW that symbol is a 6 month stock up price. :)

    • Anonymous says:

I would agree with Ashley. A year’s supply sounds like a pretty decent stockpile :)

  19. Anonymous says:

    i’m a bit confused.  this is my math.  you need to buy the first 2 at 5.99 to get the $4 catalina.  so 2 at $5.99 = 11.98 less $2 from book & less $1.20 from q’s = 8.78.  then you would do a 2nd trans using the $4 catalina = 11.98 – $4 calalina – $2 from book – $1.20 from q’s = $4.78.  so we pay $8.78 + $4.78 = $13.57 divided by the 4 packs = $3.39 per pack & .56 per roll.  how did she get to .40/per roll?.  what am i missing?

    • Leah Wolber says:

She got the total by taking the $8.78 amount-$4 register reward=$2.39.  When you figure how much you’re paying for something, you take into account the register reward you earned with the purchase.

      • Anonymous says:

i understand that part, but in this case, it’s not really a RR that you can use for something else. it’s a catalina for viva.  in order to get the savings, you would need to buy 2 more for a total of 4

        • Anonymous says:

The catalina is actually just like a regular RR, which can be used on anything at Walgreens. HTH!

          • Anonymous says:

thanks guys.  i was under the impression that a catalina was for a specific item. did this deal last night & paid .35/per roll.  got 4 packs @$5.99 – (4) .85/1 – $4 from wags book – $8 rr.  great stockpile price specially for this brand

  20. Anonymous says:

I will try this deal out today. Hopefully the catalina prints here in san jose.

  21. Anonymous says:

My wags has them for $5.99 AFTER the $1 wags coupon. Not a great deal…

  22. Anonymous says:

The $0.60/1 from SS 3/11 doesn’t work b/c these aren’t the big rolls that are on sale…I tried it earlier today. Bummer.

  23. Anonymous says:

the coupon I printed from the link above says “save $0.50 off TWO (2) or more rolls of VIVA Paper Towels Big Rolls or 1 Big Roll 2-pack…. so does the first part mean 1 pack of 2 or more rolls? or does it mean 2 packs of 2 or more? the wording is confusing….. and are the ones on sales the “big rolls” that it states on this coupon?

  24. Erin Watkins says:

My coupon states “$1 on any two or more rolls”, so does that mean 2 Packages, or does that mean I can use one coupon per package because each pack has more than two rolls? Or is it only meant for two of the single rolls? I’m confused.

  25. Anonymous says:

I live near Cincinnati and I didn’t get any register rewards.

  26. Anonymous says:

So by $4 catilina she means a $4 wlagreens register reward?

  27. Erica says:

the coupon is now for 50c off 2! bummer!

    • Anonymous says:

Hi Erica – The coupon is worded funny, but it is for two or more Big Rolls, OR ONE Big Roll 2-pack or larger. Basically, they just don’t want you using this coupon on the single rolls, unless you’re getting 2 or more. HTH!

  28. Anonymous says:

I have also found a $1/2 Viva in smartsource dispensers at Publix, which would work great with this sale.

  29. Tabitha Enos says:

nice my coupon is $.85 off so i will pay $.35 a roll

  30. my coupon say .50 off 2 or more rolls of viva paper towel big rolls or 1 big roll 2-pack…so this is usuable for 1 pack…its means i can use 2 of this?? a little confuse can someone clarify this pls. thanks in advance

    • Anonymous says:

Hi Treselle, I read: “Save $0.50 on 2 Viva Towels Big Roll packages or any ONE 2-pack or larger.” This is the coupon from the Viva site.

      • Jessica says:

my coupon that just printed out says “save .50 off two or more rolls of viva paper towels big rools, or 1 big roll 2 pack”…how would that work, plus i found a coupon in my ss for $1 on any 2 or more rolls of viva paper towls big roll…which one would work on this deal

  31. That’s great! I got 2 6pks for about 57 a roll with tax. I was sooo happy to get a RR I didn’t expect from Viva! I actually went back and bought 2 more  packs with a different $3 RR and the Wag coupon book $1 off each. I ended up paying 8.09, the second trip and got back another $4 RR. So I actually bought 4 pks=24 rolls, for approx $13w/ tax which ended up being approx 54 cents a roll! I’m super happy because that was on my stock up list and Viva is a very good paper product!

    • Anonymous says:

So if I use any RR to pay for it I will still get a $4 catalina?

      • Anonymous says:

I wouldn’t count on it as generally, you can’t do that at Walgreens, at least not with RRs. These aren’t standard RRs, rather they are a bonus Catalina, so I’m not certain. Maybe someone else can chime in and let us know if they are rolling!

      • They said that they bought 2 packs and then went back and bought 2 more with a different $3 RR so the way I took it was that they bought 2 6 packs of viva and got a $4 RR and then bought 2 more using a $3 RR from a separate item or from a previous week. I personally would not try to use the $4 RR from the first 2 paper towel purchase to buy the other 2 paper towel because of the fear of the possibility that the second $4 RR could not print. But that is me. If you try it let us know.

    • Anonymous says:

Charlie N Debbie Perez : you said you used a different RR to buy the 2nd Viva towel. Did the register print out $4 RR for you when u used different RR to pay?

  32. Anonymous says:

I’ll be buying some tomorrow morning 8)

  33. Anonymous says:

i can not get it to print. what am i doing wrong? HEP

  34. My coupons were only for 40 cents off of one. Hmmm…boooo!  Anyone else’s coupon like mine? I live in NC

  35. Tranquillity Cottage says:

    Thanks so much!!!

  36. Thanks for the heads up we are always in need of more of these!
